The Episode starts with Meher urging Param to drink the coffee made by Adrija, but he refuses. Meanwhile, Zoravar starts praising Adrija and requests Meher to let him participate in their hotel’s Founder’s Day celebration. Initially hesitant, Meher eventually agrees. Zoravar playfully complains about Adrija’s overprotectiveness, but Adrija insists she won’t leave his side until he fully recovers. The family shares a lighthearted moment.
Later, Zoravar discusses the celebration preparations with Balveer and seeks Arjun’s opinion. Kamla interrupts, informing them that she might not be able to attend due to work commitments. Balveer suggests she take leave or even resign, but Kamla refuses. Zoravar supports Kamla, while Arjun jokes about his work ethic and teases Param, who denies being interested, making everyone laugh. Kamla then asks Meher about the guest list and expresses disappointment that Ranbir won’t be attending. Meher reassures everyone, saying, “Let Ranbir enjoy his trip with Meghla.” Meanwhile, Zoravar insists on joining Balveer at the event the next day, but Balveer firmly declines, insisting Zoravar needs to rest. Adrija steps in, promising to take Zoravar to the hospital for a checkup before the celebration. Zoravar once again praises Adrija.
The family is then taken aback when Ranbir and Meghla suddenly return home. Meher questions them about their early return, and Ranbir directs her to ask Meghla. Meghla remains silent, prompting Zoravar to mock her before asking Ranbir to explain. Ranbir reveals that Meghla forgot their passports and tickets, shocking everyone. Meher scolds Meghla for being irresponsible, while Zoravar also takes the opportunity to insult her. Meghla tries to defend herself, but no one listens.
Frustrated, Meher orders Meghla to find the passports immediately, as Ranbir, being a pilot, cannot afford to lose his. When Adrija offers to help, Meher stops her, insisting that Meghla must correct her own mistakes. However, Param steps in to assist Meghla and takes her away. Adrija watches on with concern. Meanwhile, Meher vents her frustration to Ranbir, criticizing him for marrying someone as careless as Meghla. Zoravar agrees, saying Ranbir made a big mistake. Balveer tries to ease the tension, arguing that everyone makes mistakes, but Kamla disagrees, pointing out that Meghla repeatedly makes errors that cannot be ignored. Adrija secretly smirks at the situation.
In her room, Meghla and Param search for the missing passports. Meghla is confident she had kept them in her bag. Param suggests checking under the mattress, and to Meghla’s shock, they find the passports and tickets there. She insists that she did not place them there and pleads with Param to believe her. Understanding that Adrija is likely behind the scheme but lacking proof, Param advises Meghla to stay alert. Meghla nods in agreement.
Later, Adrija casually asks Meghla where she found the passports. When Meghla reveals they were under the mattress, she begs the family to believe her. However, Ranbir dismisses her claims and asks her to take responsibility for her mistake. Meghla accepts her fault but maintains she didn’t put the passports there. Adrija interjects, telling Meghla to stop blaming the family. Meghla clarifies that she wasn’t accusing anyone, but Ranbir cuts her off, grabbing his passport from her hands and leaving in frustration. Hurt by his actions, Meghla is further saddened when Meher tells her that Ranbir is growing tired of her. Adrija looks on in satisfaction.
The next day, Adrija warmly welcomes the Bajwa family to the hotel, receiving admiration from everyone. Ranbir and Meghla also arrive at the venue, but as she steps out of the car, her saree gets stuck. Ranbir sarcastically remarks about her carelessness, leaving Meghla upset.
Precap:Adrija gets into an accident, and Meghla blames Ranbir for her condition. A stunned Ranbir looks on in disbelief.

I agree with everyone’s comments on Youtube and online. This show is the definition of toxic and has given me so much anxiety. I low-key feel FK wants to leave the show, so he wants his character to turn negative, so they can introduce a new male lead for Meghala, just as had happened with Imlie’s first husband. However, that is very unlikely, since the show is only surviving because of Meghbir’s chemistry and FK. Also, unlike imlie, i don’t think the audience has connected with Meghala because the makers keep on flip flopping her character (between too innocent and out of this blue attitudey….pick a side and stay on it), so the show cannot just run with meghala and a new lead alone. Honestly, Ranbir is getting more disgusting day by day. Just his attitude when her sari was stuck in the car door….that is enough to turn any woman off of him for life…what a trash bag of a husband! To redeem itself, if that is even possible and the makers will NEVER listen to fans even if they risk losing their job, the makers need to : have Param either tell Ranbir about his suspicions and Ranbir starts plotting against Adrija to trap her; or Param tells Meghala about his suspicions and Meghala starts realizing Adrija is evil, becomes stronger, and starts plotting against her……personally, as much as I hate to see Ranbir like this, I would still tolerate watching him be toxic if Meghala gets smarter and stronger and exposes Adrija. Then, Meghala should leave the house and Ranbir, even when he apologizes…….Maybe (although they really ruined Ranbir for me) Meghala can take him back after he begs at her feet, they are separated for a while, and she becomes successful without his support….Plus, most of all, they need to have friendship as a base in their relationship and Meghala has to come to him willingly. I like that she never said “I love you” to him, because I feel this whole relationship (even if Ranbir was presented as good) was based on Ranbir’s own desires, will, consent etc. Meghala needs to discover herself before she can be with anyone else. I said my peace!
Oh my gosh, yes thank literally what I was thinking. This show has just gone downhill, and has just become a symbol of negativity, and inequality within the joined family.

I have stopped watching the show since Adrija joined the family at the hospital. This show is not entertaining at all and it should be removed from tv. This show is nothing but negative and unnecessary hate – sorry but i have better things to do than watch women get mentally tortured.
This show had so much promise but this channel just makes every show negative and female abuse. Save your own mental health and avoid this show until either more cheerful interesting storylines or just straight up cancellation.
Im just going to point out this show was written by Leena Gandophay who also wrote Jhanak as well.She has produced many popular shows that have been remade into different languages.
While Leena Gangopadhyay’s serials have been popular, controversy has not been far behind. She has been criticised and trolled on social media for writing stories that are regressive, called to end a few of the serials with reasons cited including lack of originality in storyline, repetitiveness in plot, the negative influence on society like the serial Guddi[7] and lack of sensitivity in portrayal of a community or people like Ishti Kutum.[8]
The ending of ichee nodee (which ishq ka rabb rakha is based on and was also written by Leena) has her sister turning good towards the end and fl will meet her bio mother who is alive.
Why is the female lead always made to look like she has no thinking power and the antagonist always smarter and never gets caught. These writers make women feel like we live in a toxic masculine and regressive society. Soapies are supposed to be entertaining not depressing. This show has definitely lost many viewers
@Koko and @IndIra, I completely agree with you. These shows are not good for anyone’s mental health. I read the Wikipedia of Ichee Nodee, which is why I decided to continue with this show, thinking that at least the main lead becomes a famous singer, the main couple end up together at the end, Adrija becomes positive, and Meghala finds her birth mom. But I’m not confident the Hindi version will pan out the same. I’m sure however toxic the original one was, this is 10x worse because it is on StarPlus. I saw a few episodes of Jhanak but left it after 2 weeks because I found it more toxic than other Star Plus shows. Now this show is looking more and more like that. Why? Didn’t Leena’s last show Durga also end within a few months.? Also, I remember her previous show Thoda sa Badal Thoda Sa Paani also ended pretty quickly….even in that Kajol was tormented by her mom and sis all the time, though Anurag, her love interest, always supported her, thankfully. I really don’t know how Jhanak became a success because I don’t think the leads even have good chemistry (or nowhere near Meghbir’s….they are fire, I will say,,,,or at least up until Ranbir became a total jackass, lol), but I can’t imagine this show bouncing back from 1.0 TRP, especially with this storyline…..I could be wrong, but I think it’s best if it ends with a happy ending and goes off air before the IPL.
