Part 3 –
It’s been almost 2 weeks that Nandini & Ridzi r staying with the Oberois. B’coz of their stay the Oberoi Mansion has become lively once again as it was when Anika was there. Most importantly Shivay who had almost forgotten to live life is back to his own self, he has grown more close to both the girls which irked both Pinky & Ragini. Ragini try hard to get Shivay’s attention but the two girls with the “Bachcha Party” always help Shivay to escape from the she devil. One fine nyt Ridzi was sitting on the pool side looking up in the sky only to be found by Shivay. He came & sat by her side. Whereas Nandini was with the elder ladies of the house in the living room preparing for Mata Ki Chowki [kept by Dadi for the happiness of family] & talking to them. (so simultaneously both the conversations r going on)
Pool Side –
Shivay :- counting stars?
Ridzi :- what?
Shivay :- u r looking up in the sky so I thought u r counting stars. So how many r there?
Ridzi :- it’s nothing like that. It’s just… I’m missing my parents.
Shivay :- oh. Hey if u wanna talk just do it. Let out ur pain, u see talking & letting out ur pain is the best way to get relief.
Ridzi :- u know sometimes u talk just like Aani.
Shivay :- Really?
Ridzi :- yes. U know though I miss my parents especially Maa b’coz I didn’t got much time with Papa as I was very small when he passed away but Aani, she never made us realised that we r not her kids. For her we both r same as Mitthu Jiji & Baba.
Shivay ? :- us?
Ridzi :- yeah me & my elder brother. Amongst us 4 siblings Dada Bhaisa is the eldest.
Living Room –
Nandini :- wow Dadi these clothes of Durga Maa r so beautiful.
Gauri :- yes they r after all our Bhojai had selected them ?
Bhavya :- really Bhabhi’s choice is really awesome
Nandini :- though these clothes r really very beautiful but they seem to be a little old ?
Dadi :- yes they indeed are but with these clothes many of our precious memories are attached.
Gauri :- these clothes r chosen by Bhojai.
Bhavya :- this is the first time we are keeping Mata Ki Chowki after Bhabhi’s… (she couldn’t complete)
Nandini :- u all really loved her didn’t u, especially Mr. Oberoi?
Bhavya :- yes & we still love her.
Gauri :- especially Bade Bhaiya. With each passing day his love for Bhojai is increasing & in this insanity he’s just living a robotic life & this is not affecting only him in fact all of us r being affected.
Nandini :- true, he has a beautiful life ahead with so many people who love him, care abt him. I promise till the day I’m here I’ll teach him how to live a life & it’s a Nandini promise. (she left from there to talk to Shivay)
Jhanvi :- when I look at her she just reminds of Anika & sometimes my old Shivay.
Gauri :- true Mummyji, if today our Gudiya was with us she would’ve been of same age as Nandini.
Bhavya :- u r ryt Bhabhi.
Pool Side –
Shivay :- so u r 4 siblings.
Ridzi :- yes actually 5 including Mamu, he’s just a year elder to Dada Bhaisa.
Shivay :- OK. (seeing her smiling) how r u feeling now, still sad? ?
Ridzi :- no. Thnk u for talking to me & making me smile ?
Shivay :- no need to say thnk u, u r just like a daughter to me
Nandini (who came there & stood besides them) :- what abt me [Ridzi & Shivay look up, she sits besides Shivay] am I not like ur daughter?
Shivay :- who said that of course u r.
Nandini :- so by that means tomorrow u r coming with me & Chiku for shopping.
Shivay :- what? But why?
Nandini :- if u forgot that tomorrow is Mata Ki Chowki & for that I’ve to get few things from the market, buy beautiful dresses for me & Chiku.
Shivay :- I can’t come I’m bu….
Nandini :- busy? (Shivay nods in yes) no u r not & I know it. Plus we saved ur life & u can’t even come with us for shopping? We r new in this & hardly know abt anything here so won’t u help us? (said with a pouty face)
Shivay :- fine, now stop making these pouty faces. ?
Nandini :- good ? so be ready by 10 tomorrow morning OK.
Shivay :- do I have a choice?
Ridzi :- no.
Nandini :- OK now bye? Good Night ?, come Chiku.
Ridzi :- Good Night ?
Shivay :- Good Night ?
NEXT DAY –
A new day, a new beginning. Nandini & Ridzi were ready to go shopping & were waiting for Shivay who came out fully ready in a 3 piece suit as if he has to attend a very big meeting /conference.
Shivay :- Good Morning everyone ? [to Nandini & Ridzi] shall we go?
Om :- where r u 3 going?
Ridzi :- Mr. Oberoi is taking both of us for shopping.
Everyone :- what?
Nandini :- u’ll go like this, in these clothes?
Shivay :- why, what’s wrong in these clothes?
Ridzi :- seriously, everything is wrong in these.
Nandini :- yes. Dude we r going for shopping not to a meeting to crack a 1000 crore deal. So just go & change.
Shivay :- fine (he goes to change & comes back in a jeans, t shirt & a jacket over it which surprised everyone) Now shall we go?
Ridzi :- of course.
Nandini :- BTW Mr Oberoi u look good in these clothes, at least they far better than ur usual ones.
Shivay :- thnk u. ? Now shall we leave?
The 3 leave for shopping. Shivay took both the girls to all the places they asked for, for the first time in the past yrs this is the first time that Shivay is living his time with the girls one of which is his daughter [& the poor guy doesn’t know anything]. After a full day of outing & shopping they were heading back to home. Shivay asked the girls to wait as he had to bring his car from the parking. Nandini on the other hand asked Ridzi to wait for her as she forgot her phone in the store. So Ridzi was standing alone when some creeps surrounded her. Till then Nandini came to her sister’s rescue. Nandini started to bash those guys till then Shivay & the security guards came. Shivay made those boys arrested & then they 3 went back to Oberoi Mansion. When they reached Shivay noticed Nandini’s wounded hand.
Shivay (fully concerned) :- Nandini what happened, how u got this wound
Nandini :- oh this may be when I was dealing with those jerks (Shivay took her in)
Shivay (calls Gauri) :- Gauri….. Gauri bring the first aid box fast… (Gauri brings the kit while others too gathered in the hall)
Om :- what happened guys?
Nandini :- nothing much just a small cut..
Shivay :- small? From which angle it seems small, it’s bleeding but thnk God it’s not a deep cut… (says while cleaning the blood & try to put Dettol on the wound)
Nandini :- if u can’t then give it to me I’ll do it.
Shivay :- no I’ll do but it will cause a burn (Nandini forcefully made him put the dettol cotton on the wound) WTF r u mad
Nandini :- Mr Oberoi don’t think of me of being like those typical girls who cries even when they break their nails. If I can beat those guys I can even bear this pain… & Now pls excuse me I’ve loads of work. BTW thnk u ?
She & Ridzi leaves from there. In the evening as planned the Mata Ki Chowki went well, even Shivay attended the final aarti all thnx to Nandini. The whole family was sitting in the living room when Nisha bought some photo albums to see. One album falls down & opens to the page that has Shivika’s photo with the 5 year old Nandini which Nandini, Ridzi & Kaira saw.
Kaira (picks it up) :- Aani? [everyone gets shocked]
Ridzi (saw it) :- Mitthu Jiji? [everyone gets DOUBLE shocked, especially Shivay]
Kaira :- Mitthu Jiji, Chiku Di see Aani with Bade Papa.
Bhavya :- what? What u said Kaira?
Kaira :- mumma see this photo Bade Papa & Aani in the same photo with Mitthu Jiji.
Bhavya (takes the album) :- Kaira u sure this is ur Aani.
Adi (takes the album to see) :- of course Choti Maa this is Aani & this little girl is Mitthu Jiji.
Bhavya :- means [looks at Nandini & moves towards her & cups her face] Gudiya, Gauri Bhabhi, Om Bhaiya, Rudra she’s our Gudiya ?
Gauri (comes to her & kissed her) :- Gudiya, meri bachchi ? Omkara Ji see our Gudiya has grown so big.
OmRu both can’t believe their eyes that the girl living with them for so many days is their own daughter. They both hugged Nandini, the love they had for her is clearly visible. But all this while Nandini was standing still with no emotions on her face, she was not able to interpret what just happened in these few minutes. Shivay who was not able to believe his eyes came to her, caressed her face & then took his daughter in a bone crushing hug.
Shivay :- I knew, I always knew that my daughter, my Gudiya & my Anika r alive & safe. & see today my belief came true. [he relieves her from the hug] Gudiya, bachche kya hua? R u not happy to meet ur family?
Nandini (with an emotionless face but painful eyes) :- why u left Aani & me? What was the reason? Till date I didn’t wanted to know anything but today I want to know everything that happened 12 yrs back, what made u threw us both out? Why?
Shivay :- didn’t Anika told u?
Nandini :- I never asked her cuz I knew if asked she’ll get hurt & I can tolerate anything but not my Aani in pain ever. Though she tried to tell me & Baba abt u but we never bothered to know. But now I wanna the reason & that too from u.
Pinky :- what he’ll tell, I’ll tell u. Ur mother is a characterless lady, she married my heera beta for money & had relationship with that duplicate.
Ragini :- oh….that means she’s….
Shivay :- Ragini stop…..
