Part 3 –
Oberoi Mansion, Mumbai –
The car halts in the OM campus while inside of it the atmosphere suddenly changed, it looked like the dead walls of the mansion after Anika left got their lives back, the still curtains suddenly started to blow up. The people in there too felt like a sudden energy in themselves. Outside Shivay, Nandini & Ridzi came out of the car. Shivay asked the driver to bring the luggage in while he took both the girls in with him. Shivay entered first & seeing him bandaged Pinky ran to him but he avoided her & went to Jhanvi.
Jhanvi :- Shivay, where were u beta? We all were so worried & this bandage, what happened?
Shivay :- relax Badi Maa I’m fine. Actually few hrs back I met with an accident.
Everyone :- what?
Pinky :- accidents. Shivay u fines na?
Shivay (ignoring Pinky) :- relax everyone I’m fine. Thankfully Nandini & Ridzi were there & they saved me.
Gauri :- who r they?
Shivay (looks back & found they still did not entered) :- wait I’ll bring them (he went & brought them in by holding their hands) Everyone meet my saviours Nandini & Ridzi.
Nandini :- hello everyone. I’m Nandini
Ridzi :- & I’m Riddhima.
Gauri (hugs both of them) :- thnk u so much beta. U saved Bade Bhaiya’s life it really means a lot for all of us.
Shivay :- Dadi, Badi Maa they both r new here & were alone, so will be living with us till their family shifts here .
Dadi :- it’s a very nice idea. Jhanvi make arrangements for their stay & see to it that they do feel like home here.
Jhanvi :- ji Mummyji. (till then the Oberoi Kids came & were surprised to see Nandini & Ridzi there)
Kids (screams) :- Mitthu Jiji……. Chiku Di…… (runs & hugs Nandini & Ridzi who were also surprised to see them)
Nandini :- guys is this ur house?
Adi :- yes.
Nisha :- but Mitthu Jiji how come u both here?
Ridzi :- we both came here with Mr. Shivay Singh Oberoi.
Pihu (to Shivay) :- Bade Papa u knew them?
Shivay :- I met them a few hrs back.
Bhavya :- but how u all kids know them?
Vivan :- Mom we knew them since we started going to the summer camp in Mount Abu.
Kaira :- Mitthu Jiji didn’t Aani came with u?
Nandini :- no but she’ll come here in 2-3 weeks & not only she everyone will come for forever.
Adi :- so that means u r gonna stay here with us?
Ridzi :- yes.
Adi :- wow that’ll be super fun.
Om :- OK kids first let them get frshnd up OK. (just then Ragini comes there)
Ragini :- hi Shivay. OMG what happened to u (looking at his bandage)
Shivay :- I’m fine Ragini (try to avoid her) I should go & change.
Nandini :- who’s this devil in disguise?
Rudra :- Ragini Malhotra but Vetal name suits her more.
Ridzi :- what?
Rudra :- yeah just like in the story “Vikram & Vetal” that ghost Vetal looms over Vikram, this Ragini too when get a chance jumps on our Bhaiya but Bhaiya is not less, everytime just ignores her.
Nandini :- good but some people r very dheet like her.
Bhavya :- leave all that come I’ll show u both girls ur rooms.
After settling in to the OM, they both came down for dinner. Everyone was present there including Ragini but Shivay was not there.
Nandini :- where’s Mr. Oberoi? Isn’t he joining us for dinner?
Nisha :- Mitthu Jiji, Bade Mamu never eats with us.
Nandini :- why?
Kaira :- don’t know. We never saw him eating with all of us.
Priyanka :- it’s been 12 yrs that Shivay Bhaiya came & ate with us.
Bhavya :- he always eats either in office or at late nyt.
Ridzi :- is he that busy?
Nandini :- busy or not but he should take his food on time. & above all breakfast & dinner time is family time. How could he ignore it? I’ll bring him & from now on he’ll always have his food with his family.
Adi :- that’s impossible.
Nandini :- Adi beta u r forgetting there’s nothing impossible for Nandini.
Nandini went to Shivay in his room to find him drown in his thoughts holding his wife’s mangalsutra near his heart. She knocked the door that makes Shivay to come out of his trance.
Nandini :- can I come in?
Shivay :- yeah pls. U need something?
Nandini :- yes actually I came to call u for dinner.
Shivay :- I’m not feeling like eating u go & have it.
Nandini (sits besides him) :- see I know that I don’t have any ryt to speak in ur family matters but still I want u to know that ur family really loves & cares for u. I don’t know what had happened with u in the past but what I know is that cuz of the past u r spoiling ur present. We don’t know what’ll happen in the future but living in present & thinking of past & future is stupidity. What has happened we can’t change it but what is happening can be changed if it’s wrong then only u can write it future. Ur family is missing u for the past 12 yrs, they don’t show it but they really need u. So just for their sake at least for once come & have dinner with all of them, trust me when u’ll see the happy faces of ur family members when u’ll come at the dining table, I’m sure u’ll feel like on top of the world.
Shivay :- u know what u remind me of my wife, she too is just like u.
Nandini :- really, like how?
Shivay :- will tell u some other day, ryt now we should go & have dinner before it gets cold. So shall we (gets up & forwards his hand)
Nandini (gives him his hand) :- yes Sir…
Everyone was waiting for Nandini assuming that Shivay must’ve denied her but then what they saw was just equal to a miracle, Shivay coming with Nandini hand in hand. Shivay sat down on his chair adjacent to that of Dadi, Nandini sat on his left side while Ridzi sat besides her. All the kids sat besides each other. Shivay saw how happy his family is seeing him having dinner with them.
Shivay (whispers to Nandini) :- u were ryt, I’m happy to see my family happy. ?
Nandini :- I told u ?
Jhanvi :- I’m so happy Shivay to see you having dinner with us after 12 long yrs.
Rudra :- yes Bhaiya this is the first time u r eating with us ever since Bhabhi die…
Shivay :- she’s alive Rudra. Both my wife & daughter r alive.
Om :- Shivay why don’t u just accept the truth.
Nandini :- if he’s saying then there must be hope of them being alive.
Bhavya :- Nandini it’s been 12 yrs that….
Nandini :- & it’s been 12 yrs that he’s having this hope of them being alive so have hope in his hope.
Shivay :- u have hope on my hope?
Nandini :- of course. I mean acc. to me having a hope that a dead person is alive may be for 1 or 1 & half year or max. 2 yrs but u r living with the this hope of ur wife & daughter being alive for the past 12 yrs so may be one day it hope turns out to be a reality & ur wife & daughter r alive.
Shivay :- thnk u.
Pinky :- Nandini u didn’t told us abt ur family yet.
Nandini :- my family, I have a very beautiful & loving mother we all call her Aani, u already have met Riddhima my Chiku (side hugs her), Vaibhav Dada Bhaisa, Ansh my younger brother & my Mamu.
Ragini :- r u & Riddhima real sisters?
Ridzi :- no actually me & Dada Bhaisa r Mitthu Jiji’s Nanny Jyoti’s kids. After our mother’s death Aani adopted both of us.
Pinky :- Nanny’s kids (with a disgusting look)
Nandini (with attitude) :- they r more than my real siblings especially Chiku, she’s my life.
Ragini :- that’s so sweet. Nandini u didn’t tell us abt ur father.
Nandini :- we don’t have a father actually didn’t like having one. Aani is equal to both our parents.
Pinky :- didn’t ur Aani told u it father’s name?
(Nandini is now in her angry mode & is clapping the folk on the glass table which Chiku noticed, slapped her forehead & looked at her Mitthu Jiji with wide eyes full scared. She signalled Adi who then signalled to the other kids. All the kids were slowly moving backwards picking up their dinner plates along with their chairs)
Rudra (whisper) :- why r u all moving backwards??
Adi (whisper) :- cuz we don’t wanna get hurt.
Nisha (whisper) :- free advice for u all
Ridzi (whisper) :- if u all don’t wanna get hurt then follow us.
(all did what the kids said except for Pinky & Ragini, Pinky continued to taunt Nandini whose face is now fire like red in anger & the clapping of folk on table has caused it to break slowly)
Ragini :- what happened Nandini didn’t ur Aani told u it father’s name?
Pinky :- or she herself don’t know his name?
(& that was it Nandini’s anger dam broke & she punched the table so hard that it broke & the whole food got scattered on the floor. Everyone were hell shocked to see this side of Nandini especially Pinky & Ragini. Nandini moved towards both of them with 2 folks in her hands & keeps either on both of their necks)
Nandini :- how dare u 2 say such awful things abt my Aani. I can tolerate anything but I don’t allow anyone to say a word against my Aani & if anybody even try to think bad abt her trust me I don’t spare them. Above all being a women how can u say such awful things abt another woman. & u Ms. Ragini with what ryt u always come here, huh? Frnds too also have some limits & I can clearly see that no one here except Pinky Aunty likes u visiting here but some people r very dheet, u r one of them. It’s said that a woman’s biggest rival is a woman only, I now believe that. U 2 r not suitable to be called women. (she leaves from there in a huff leaving both Pinky & Ragini scared)
Gauri :- what was that?
Ridzi :- that’s my Mitthu Jiji. Do anything, say anything to her but a word against Aani, a finger against her my Mitthu Jiji will not spare anyone. I’m sorry for the damage but this damage is really less & if we tried to stop her then there would’ve been a bigger damage than this.
Bhavya :- Now where she went?
Adi :- in the garden.
Nisha :- she’s on fire ryt now.
Ridzi :- & I know exactly how to cool her down. Adi, Vivan..
Adi & Vivan :- ?
Everyone went to the garden to see what Nandini was doing & what they saw was a shocker to them. Nandini was cutting the tree log with the axe in full anger to cool herself down. Just then Adi & Vivan came with 2 tubs full of Baskin Robins combo of Rich Dark Chocolate, Missciscippi Mud, Coffee flavor & gave to Ridzi who then forwarded it to Nandini. Seeing her favorite ice cream Nandini drop the axe & took it from Ridzi & start eating it while others watched her astonished. She then wished everyone goodnyt & went to sleep.
Dadi :- she reminds me of Anika.
Shivay :- that’s what I felt when I first met her.
Bhavya :- I liked the way she took a stand for her mother.
Rudra :- just like Anika Bhabhi.
Shivay (to himself) :- where r u Anika? I wish u could be here to watch out what this girl did. I don’t know why but I feel really connected to her, but this feeling is good. I hope I get u & our daughter soon.
