Ishqbaaz – Rikara Trust 80

So I missed a chapter in between, and Dinu (my saviour) figured it out. But, this chapter is not connected in any way to other chapters so you can read it separately. Sorry again.

The next few days, Gauri and Om, did not talk to one another. They will have occasional looks but apart from that, they were both avoiding each other. It was a typical day at the Oberoi mansion.

Ritik comes inside and Om was coming down the stairs.

R: Hello, Omkara.

O: Hello.

R: How are you? (Teasing him)

O: I could be better. Why are you here?

R: Why would do you think I am here? No one wants to see your face.

O: Well, no one asked you, now I am not in the mood to hurl insults at you. Just answer my question.

R: To see my fiancée.

O: You mean, you want to see Gauri.

R: Yes, I want to see my Gauri. Where is she?

O(Thinking): Fiancee, I just want to punch his face. How can he call my Gauri his? She is mine, mine only. I cannot just give her like that. (Says) She is not here. She just left and said that she is gone to office.

R: Office? She said that she went to office. Last night, I talked to her and she told me that she did not even want to say a word to you. How can she tell you where she went?

O: You talked to her last night??

R: Yh, I called her on the phone at midnight. We first talked about a few mergers and then about personal lives.

O: Personal lives?? (Thinking) What is so personal in Gauri’s life that she is not willing to share with me?

R: Om? Are you in lala land? Can you tell me where she is? I need to talk to her immediately.

O: What did she say?

R: Why do you care?

O: It is because I know everything about her? After all, I am her… well-wisher.

R: Well-wisher… You gotta f**king be kidding me now? You are the same well-wisher that left her stranded in the middle of nowhere, the same well-wisher that destroyed her character in front all her friends… the same well-wisher who ripped her smile of her face and threw in the bottom pits of depression. Om, you are such a good well-wisher. Give me some good tips so I can also be like you.

O(Thinking): He is right but this is between me and Gauri. He should not interfere between our personal lives.

R: Where is Gauri?

O: I said that she is not here.

Ritik’s phone buzz and he looks up. And, then he looks up towards the stair case.

Om turns around and Gauri was there with her phone inside. Ritik nods at her and then goes up the stairs. They both head towards Gauri’s room and Gauri closes her door.

Om was just shocked at Gauri’s expressions.

O(Thinking): Why did I lie to him like that? What would Gauri think of me? She has moved on but I cannot. In front of her, I act like I do not care but that is not true. (Crying) I do not know what to do. Should I let her move on with Ritik or try to win her back?

Om heads to the kitchen.
