Ishqbaaz – Rikara Trust 71

She starts weave into the traffic and speed 30 km above the speed limit.

G (Screaming): Does not this feel really good? The wind blowing in your hair and just the atmosphere.

Om nods but inside he felt like he was riding a wooden rollercoaster. His knees hitting the metal every single time there is a slight movement.

O(Thinking): After this, I probably cannot walk for a week. This girl is going to kill me. This is not how I want to die with body parts all over the place. Gauri, if you think you are avenging me then it is working. I am actually scared but I cannot express it because you will make fun of me. Please stop.

Gauri continues driving but then looks at Om. His eyes were closed and there were creases on his forehead due to the tension.

G: Are you scared, Om?

O: No

G: Then why do you look scared?

O: That is how I look normally

G: No, Om, your resting face is not this. You have a stoned faced just like your brother. (Gauri starts to laugh.)

O: Ha… Ha.. (Thinking) This is not the best time to laugh, Gauri.

G(Thinking) Mission Scaring Om Part 2 starts now.

The road was not busy.

G: Hey Om. Let me show you a trick.

Gauri speeds up and does a wheelie.

O: GAURI!! Stop, I am scared, Gauri!

G: Finally, you have admitted your fear. I do not know why men are so stupid. Their egos are so big that they just suck up their fears.

O: Gauri, listen up. I have nothing to hide from you. When it comes to you, I am an open book.

(Saathiya plays)

G(Thinking): Om, I was trying to be that open book with you, but you never gave me that opportunity.

O: Gauri… I am scared… Can you slow down?

Gauri leans to him.

G: Omkaraji, you are soooooooo cute!! But, I am not slowing down because of you. I need to go home ASAP.

Gauri starts speeding but Om was not thinking about his fear. He was in a flashback when he callled Chulbul cute.

O(Thinking): I remember the first time I called him… her cute. Her face was so radiant, just like a thousand volt bolt… Her face actually really radiant when the fairy lights fell on her. I knew something was off but I never expected it to my wife.

All of sudden… HONK! Om snaps out of it..

G: Om, did you see that? He just cut me… He is so dead.

Gauri starts zipping through the traffice to catch up with the car. Then, she looks at Om, and his eyes were closed. She slows down and drives lower than the speed limit. Om slowly opens her eyes.

O: Why did you slow down?

G: I felt like it. Plus, that guy is so far away and it would be hard to catch with him. (Thinking) The actual reason is because you were scared. I promised you that I will always protect you so how can I be the reason for your fear. (Gauri smiles at Om)

They reach home and Gauri helps him get out of the extension. He was struggling due to cramps and severely limping. Om feels a hand over on his waist and he looks. It was Gauri.

O: What are you doing?

G: Helping you… You are going to fall if you walk without my support.

O(Thinking): I already fell several times in life, Gauri. I do not mind falling one more time on the floor. (Says) I am fine Gauri (He walks forward and about to trip but Gauri catches him.)

G: Told you so, Om. I cannot carry you bridal style like you always did so at least let me help you this way. Unless, you want me to call your brother.

O: Nah… You are right.

G: I am always right.

O: Oh…You do not know my story about motorcycles??

G: Then, tell me..

Then he starts narrating his story and Gauri starts laughing.

G(laughing) I cant believe the OSO fell off. In that case, next time, we drive together, you are taking the front seat and I am going to teach you. I will support you and make you love driving a motorcycle.

They both walk inside.

G(Thinking): If only our entire relationship is based on telling the truth and just openly talking to one another, then we would not have this distance between us.

O(Thinking): I wish you will support me throughout my entire life as a friend and a wife.

O and G: I just do not know how to start.

Male and Female Saathiya plays.
