They all asked Om what happened and Om narrates the entire story to them.

R: Om, even for you, this is an all time low. You should have never said that to her.

A: All you are doing is driving the nail back in her heart. You are making that wound deeper and deeper to a point it will never heal.

O: I know it is my mistake but I just wanted to know if she left me or not. That’s all.

S: Even I was her, if there was a small doubt to give you another chance, I would have erased it from my heart now. Om, next time, do not explode. Think before you say something. Gauri is very sensitive and unpredictable.

O(Thinking): I need to apologize to her but how? How can I say I am sorry? Will she even see me from now on? I will talk to her tomorrow.

They all go to their rooms.

Shivaye whispers something to Annika, and Annika nods. She then goes to the kitchen.

A few minutes later, there is a knock on Gauri’s door.

G: If he comes to apologize…

Gauri opens the door and it was Annika with a pot of hot water and some towels.

G: Annika…You should have called me. I would have helped you.

A: Om made a big mistake and I am here to rectify it.

G: He never rectifies his own mistakes. He does not understand that once you say something, you cannot take it back. Always, someone comes on his behalf, begging for forgiveness. His entire family has spoiled him.

A: What?? (She heard what she said)

Annika and Gauri go to bed where Shrenu and Kunal were lying down. They both were sleeping peacefully but Gauri just could not asleep in fear that they will get a fever.

G: Nothing (She starts to cry.) Thank you so much.

A: Do not worry, Gauri. They are safe now,

G: I was so scared. What if something happened to them? Then..

A: I understand your pain. I am a mother as well.

Gauri quickly looks up at her expressionlessly.

G: They are my responsibility. I will take over from here. Thank you again. (Thinking) I cannot tell her the truth. Immediately, it will go to Om and he will be back here to say sorry. I do not care about him anymore. These kids saved my life and now it is my turn to return the favour.

Annika heads out.

A(Thinking): Why did she give me that look when I said the word mother? Also, what does she mean by responsibility? A mother never considered her kids as a responsibility. I need to find out what is going on so Shivaye can plan his next move. Gauri, what are you planning now?
