Ishqbaaz – Rikara Support Chapter 30

Om was in the elevator coming downstairs from his office to the parking lot.

O(Thinking): This is the safest way out as Gauri never comes to the parking lot. She either takes the auto, bus or sometimes Sahil picks her up. But, I need to talk to her as well. Maybe I should just go up and talk to her now, but then I will blow my cover. I can go to her house but then I do not want her to feel awkward with the private meeting. What to do? Maybe I can call her to meet at a coffee shop. But, then she will not come. How am I going to clear everything up?

As he gets out of the elevator and sees a girl waiting by his car.

O(Thinking): Why is she waiting beside my car? I did not tell anyone that I am coming here.

He moves forward and instantly stops.

O(Thinking) OMG, it is Gauri. What is she doing here? Does she know that I am here? She probably figured it out because of my car.

Om quickly ducks down and hides behind a car.

Gauri was waiting in the parking lot as Sahil told her to wait by his car.

G(Thinking): Where is he? He offered a ride and it was raining so it made sense to take a lift. At first, I would have said not but he is like a brother to me now. He forgot his car keys so he had to go back up and pick it up. How can I say no to my brother? But, I have been waiting here for 10 minutes and he is still not here. As soon as she hears the elevator, she turns around.

G: Sahil!!

No response.

G(Thinking): I swear I saw a man there. He was wearing sunglasses and long hair that he let out. He had the same style as Omkaraji… Could it be Omkaraji? How can he be here?

G: Omkaraji, is that you?

O(Thinking): Did she see me? I can escape from the parking lot before she can find me.

Gauri goes close to the car and goes to side Om was hiding. Om can hear his heart pounding. But there was no one there. Om was on the other side of the car, hiding from Gauri. Gauri slowly goes around the car and Om goes around the car as well. Gauri was so keen on finding out who the person was that she did not notice the pothole. She puts her feet into it and about to fall forward.

O: Gauri!!

He runs up and catches her. (Saathiya plays) All he can see is Gauri with her closed eyes in his arm. Gauri slowly opens her eyes and she was in Om’s arms. She quickly gets up.

G: Omkaraji, what are you doing here?

O: Gauri, I want to talk to you.

G: Not now, I am working right now. My boss will fire me if he sees me wasting time.

O(Thinking): Your boss is not that mean to you. (Says) No, he won’t. He is not that harsh on his employees.

G: How do you know that? What are you doing here?

O(Thinking): I am your boss, Gauri. As long as you get work done, I will not fire you for socializing. (Says) He is my… friend. I came to meet him.

G(Thinking): Is he here to say lies and get me fired? He is trying to make me helpless so I can return back home with him. That will never happen.

O: You… work here…

G: Uh… no. I came to meet a friend as well.

O(Thinking): Why is she lying? Does she feel that insecure with me? (Says) How’s life?

G(Thinking): How’s life? After all, you have done, you ask me How’s life. (Says) To be honest, life is fine. This is the happiest I have ever been in my life. I am finely free and I am definitely enjoying the freedom.

O(Thinking):Gauri, are you saying that I caged you in? I never had the attention to do that.

G(Thinking): Om, what I meant by free is free to express my emotions. I constantly do not need to watch myself and make sure that I am acting in a way that will not make you angry. You always told me to that I was free to leave and before forced me to leave but I always felt like I was bounded to you.
