He opens the email.

Sir,
Thank you for the offer. I want to go school and willing to put in the time to go to both courses. I am so happy today as you have fulfilled a dream of mines. I was the breadwinner in my family. I always loved school but I had to give it up to support my family. I would be a fool if I did not accept it. Please do not worry as this will not affect my performance at work.

O: Tina, she accepted.

T: Told you Om. From what I know from her, she has the fire so she will never let this slip.

Tina leaves.

O(Thinking): She suffered so much ever since she was a kid. At least, during my family problems, I had art and school to focus on but she did not even that. And, then, as an adult, she met Kali and me. Both of us destroyed your life. I just hope I can fix my mistake.

Gauri waits outside at the door and Tina walks out. Gauri tries to slip in.

T: What are you doing? You know the rules.

G: I need to see, Shanker sir. Please. I need to thank him personally.

T: No one is allowed to come inside.

Inside, Om starts to panic.

O(Thinking): She cannot see me. I need to hide.

Om gets up from his chair and is very confused as he was scrambling to find a spot. Tina can see his tension.

T: Gauri, rules are rules. And, sir is not here.

Om quickly hides under the table.

G: He just sent me an email.

T: He sent it from his phone.

G: No, it did not sound like that.

O(Thinking): What does she mean?

G: It feels like he is watching my move through the camera.

T: Gauri, sir has a lot of stuff to do and has better things to do in his life than watch his employees 24/7.

O(Thinking): Wow, Tina. You are such a good liar. Apart from the small deals, all I do in this office is check to see what Gauri is doing.

Then, all of sudden, Om hits his head and OUCH!!

Tina turns around and shakes her head.

T(Thinking): Oh, Om. Why are putting me in this situation? Thank you for making it worse.

G: Did you hear that?

T: What are you talking about?

G: A man yelled inside the room. You did not hear it.

T: No. I did not hear anything and no one is in this room. Now, let’s leave.

Tina escorts Gauri to her table.

G(Thinking): Why did I get hurt when I heard him scream? What is my connection with him? Who is Shanker? I need to figure out who he is.
