Ishqbaaz – Rikara Art Exhibition OS Continuation – 2

Om reaches to the resort and goes to front desk.

O: Hello. I am looking for a person who has booked a room at this resort. Her name is Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi.

The receptionist looks on the computer.

Receptionist: No sir. This guest is not here.

O(Thinking): I am so stupid. She is mad at me and would never use my name as her last name. (Says) Can you try Gauri Kumari Sarma?

R: Sorry sir?? Can you repeat that again?

O (With a smile): I mean Gauri Kumari Sharma (Thinking) Now I understand why Shivaye uses Annika’s words. It just rubs on you.

Receptionist: Sorry, sir but her name is not her.

O(Thinking): That means she has registered her as another name or she is living under her friend’s name. (Says) Do you have an extra room?

Receptionist: No, we are fully booked.

O: Please, I need a room in this resort and I do not care how the room looks like.

Receptionist: Well sir, we do not have a suite but there is room available. It may not be up to your standards, though. It is currently under renovation but you can still live in it.

O: That is fine, I will take it.

Om takes his bags to his room and man, he was in for a surprise. When he opened the door, the handle of the door came off. With it in his hand, he walks in. The ceiling was not fully furnished. The bed was lop- sided, the sofa has holes and the fluff was coming out.

He goes to make tea but then realizes that the stove is not working. So he decides to order tea instead.

O(Thinking): I lived in a mansion where everything looked so pristine and now I am stuck in this garbage dump. This is all for you, Gauri.

Once drinking his tea, he goes out to find her. It was a huge resort so finding her was going to a big mission.

O(Thinking): If I stay at the front entrance or in the garden and monitor the entrance, then I can see who is leaving and coming in the resort. Gauri will have to leave and I will find her.

So that is exactly what Om did. He took his camera to take pictures of the garden. But, his entire attention was on the front entrance. It was 1:00 p.m. and Om could hear his stomach growling.

O(Thinking): I can go in and get some food but what if she comes during the time I was gone. She has suffered so much pain for the past few months so I do not mind being hungry for the entire day so I can find her.

He stayed there till sunset and still no sight of Gauri.
O: Maybe there is another entrance to this place. I should have asked before doing this.

Om finds out that there were another two entrances and just regrets his plan. He decides to go back to his room. He sits on the bed but then, falls on the floor because of the position. In pain, he sits on the sofa and gets hurt by the springs in the sofa. His only option was to sit on the floor.

He turns on the TV but it was not working so his only option was to look at the pictures that he took. As he was looking through them, there was a picture of fountain he took. But, something else caught his eye. There is something that catches his eye.

There were two girls, coming out of an auto, with shopping bags in their hands. The first girl’s face can be seen clearly but the second girl’s face was covered with a scarf. The only thing that he can see was her earrings and her bangles.

O: Those long earrings and decorations on the bangles. I only know one girl who loves to wear these accessories. Gauri, so you are here. I have found out who you are living with so I can use that to find you.

He flips to the next photo and sees the same two girls but at this point, Gauri has used her scarf to cover her face and the only thing he can see are her eyes. The same sad eyes he saw at the exhibition. And they were looking directly at the camera. Directly at him.

O: So you have seen me and decided to hide yourself. Why are putting yourself through all the pain? Just come with me. I know it is your ego but I will break through that ego and make you realize your love.

He prints out several copies of the photo as he can use it to find her friend. He puts a blanket on the floor as that was more comfortable than the bed or sofa. Just as he is about to sleep, he takes a photo and keeps it close to him so he feels like Gauri is sleeping with him in the same room.
