Ishqbaaz Imagining the Future part 12 B

Somehow only half of the part was published this morning… so this is the second half.

The blissful moment was interrupted with someone ringing the doorbell. They moved apart instinctively trying to control their heaved breaths. Anika ran towards the door avoiding looking at Shivay.
“Anika stop”

She stopped at Shivay’s order but did not dare to look back.
“Your house was closed for all these days… how does someone know you are here?”
Shivay’s question snapped her back to reality.
She turned back at Shivay and shrugged.

“You go and open the door. I’ll be there right behind you”
She nodded and started walking towards the door when he stopped her again “Be Careful!”
Anika nodded again and finally opened the door.
“What are you both doing here so late at night?”
Seeing Anika’s reaction Shivay came out of his hiding,”OmRu?What are you both…”
“You left without meeting everybody…”

Right after Omkara’s remark Shakti and Pinky appeared…
Pinky rushed inside, to Shivay and started stabbing against his chest with her fist… “How dare you? How dare you leave your mother? How dare you think even for once that I’m not your mother? How dare you?” She cried heavily and Shivay tried to stop her from hurting herself. He knew no matter what, she had truely considered him her son.
“Maa… What would I have done? I tried to call you both but it didn’t connect and then that Kamini…”
“What did that Kamini tell you? Tell me… ” Pinky ordered vigorously which couldn’t be dissobeyed.

Shivay quoted Kamini’s words to them.
“What?She said that?”
Pinky asked out of disbelief. Shivay couldn’t interpret Pinky’s reaction, it was not possible that she won’t know that he’s not her biological son. Shivay doubted maybe she didn’t know either about him being illegitimate or him being Kamini’s son.

Pinky now turned from Shivay to Shakti.
“I believe you need to say something?”

Shakti looked down and sighed helplessly
“Whatever Kamini said was true…”
Shivay’s world seemed to crash down again…
“…but that doesn’t mean you are illegitimate”
“What do you mean?”
Shivaay asked confused

“Shivay your mother was bed ridden when she conceived you. Doctors suggested not to have the baby as Pinky’s life was in danger but Pinky refused to let you go. She wanted to have the baby. We were then staying at Bhubaneswar for her treatment and our business. Kamini worked like an unofficial secretary to me at that time and travelled with me to that business trip. I asked her to help since I knew nobody else there and she agreed to it. You know your mom, she would have never let it happen if she knew Kamini was the one who’s helping, she would’ve rather endangered her own life. That’s why beta I asked her to keep it as a secret. You were born by surrogacy and that also by gestational surrogacy which means you have no genes attached to you other than me and Pinky’s. You are our son Shivay. It’s true you’ve been nurtured in Kamini’s womb but she had acted as a mere surrogate with whom you have no biological connection”

Shivaay was confused if his world was upside down till then or was it happening right at that moment!!
Anika out of happiness hugged the first person whom she found standing next to her.
Om hugged her back with a big smile.
“Now can we get back to Oberoi Mansion?”
Rudra asked with an impatient grin.
Shivay who with his wet eyes was hugging his parents till now walked to Rudra “We haven’t really unpacked our bags you know…”
Rudra ran inside to bring their bags…

BACK IN OBEROI MANSION

Janvi and Priyanka have been waiting for them to arrive in the living room.

Priyanka ran to Shivay the moment he entered. Janvi happily walked towards them and kept a blessing hand on Anika’s head. Priyanka then hugged Anika while Janvi then went to greet Shivay. After the greetings they were back to their rooms.
Anika was closing the cupboard after unpacking their bags. She had a mysterious smile on her face throughout.

The moment she turned, she found Shivay standing there arms crossed and staring at her.The confident Shivay Singh Oberoi she has always looked upto was back. Her eyes glowed with the view while her smile broadened. Shivay was walking towards her with a calm but an intimidating pace. She moved back only to be blocked by the cupboard behind her. He was now standing right infront of her with his hands placed on the cupboard to her either sides.
She closed her eyes and turned her head sidewards.

He tug her curls behind her ears and moved the rest of the hair from her shoulder. Lacing his fingers with hers he started leaning closer to her ear. The closer he went the tighter her fingers clenched to his.
“I wanted to tell you something”. He whispered those words in her ears and started moving back to look at her but not before intentionally brushing his lips against her warm skin.The slight touch was enough to give her goosebumps.
She finally opened her eyes and looked into his.
She looked at him expectantly, remembering that he was yet to respond to her big love confession.
Standing there a breath apart his mouth opened to speak, her heartbeat rose with each agonizing moment

“Good night!!”
“Huh?!”
That was it, Shivay had already started moving away. She couldn’t mask her dissapointment and stopped him by his hand
“That’s all you had to say?”
Shivay pulled her towards him with the same hand of his that she was holding
“You were expecting something else? Tell me… maybe I’ll be able to live upto your expectations…”
He paused to trail his fingers down her shoulder
“…or maybe more?”

She had work hard to keep it up with him, but then she was Anika. She gave him a tight smile
“No thank you and Good Night!!”
She released herself from his hold,got up on the bed and covered herself with the blanket from head to toe.
Shivay had to cover his mouth with a hand to resist laughing.
