EPISODE 79 AND 80 (LAST EPISODE)

NEXT DAY,

OBEROI MANSION,

Everyone was waiting sitting in the living room,

Tej: I haven’t had any meetings with Rajesh since a long time.
Shakti: That is what is surprising, we have no business with them nor have any intentions of having any, then why does he want to meet us.
Jhanvi: More over he wants to meet the family, I don’t think it is just about business.
Shivaay: We will know once he comes, let us wait till then.
Anika (thinking): I hope everything goes well… This is going to change our lives forever.
Rudra: Soumya, don’t you think Anika Bhabhi is worried about something.
Soumya: I don’t think so, and if it was she would have told us or at least jiju would have known.
Rudra: I don’t think she has told anyone about it.
Soumya: Rudra, I think you are worrying just like that. There is nothing to worry about.
Rudra: I hope so.

They were all busy talking when Rajesh Mittal entered with his wife Vidhi Mittal.
Everyone got up and greeted them.

Vidhi and Rajesh looked at Shivaay, they had tears in their eyes, seeing their son after so many years, this was the happiest moment of their lives.
Anika took blessings from Vidhi and Rajesh, they smiled at her and blessed her. The Oberoi family was surprised by her actions as she had never taken blessings from any other businessman like this.

Jhanvi: You both please come in.

They all settle in the living room.
They were looking at each other, no one knew how to start any conversation.

Rajesh: Thank you all of you, you all agreed to meet us like this.
Vidhi: It has been years since we last met.
Jhanvi: Yes, we last met when you started your textile company, after that never.
Tej: Rajesh, we haven’t contacted each other over years and nor do we have any business ties. Then why did you want to meet us like this?
Anika: Bade papa… wo…
Rajesh: No Anika beta… let me talk. I have to tell them everything.

Anika nodded while others wondered why Rajesh called Anika like that.

Ishana: I think that this is not about business but about family.
Soumya: Yes, even I feel like that. The way he and Anika Di are behaving with each other is also different.
Rudra: I hope it is good thing and not something that brings stress.
Rajesh: Tej… we are here… to meet our son… (Everyone looked at them confused) … Shivaay.

All of them were shocked hearing him.

They stood up from their seats and looked at each other trying to digest this new revelation that they had just encountered.

Vidhi had tears in her eyes, she walked up to Shivaay and touched his face, he looked at her, he didn’t know how to react, his entire life he had lived like an orphan, with no one for him, and no one to go to, he missed having a family, he missed so much happiness in his life, his entire life he faced the world on his own and now, one day two people walked to him and told him that he was their son and that he always had a family, after so many years when he had made peace with whatever life had put him through, they came to him, Shivaay moved back and removed Vidhi’s hand, she looked at him shocked, he moved back further.

Anika: Shivaay…

Before Anika could say anything further, he raised his hand and indicated her to stop, she looked at him in disbelief.

Shivaay: I don’t want to say anything and I don’t want to meet you both ever again. Please leave me alone like you left me years ago. You weren’t there then and I don’t need you now. I am happy with my life and I don’t need you both in it.

All of them were shocked hearing his words.

Rajesh: Shivaay… I can understand that you are hurt and angry and you didn’t deserve any of this. You can be angry and upset with me, but don’t be angry with your mother, she didn’t do anything wrong with you, she has suffered just like you, for no mistake of hers, please don’t be angry with her.
Shivaay: Why should I listen to anything you say… Why? You weren’t there when I needed you both the most and now I have learnt to live without you both, so I don’t care whose fault it was or not, for me you both are equally at fault.
Vidhi: You are right, we both are equally at fault (Rajesh looked at her surprised)
Rajesh: Vidhi…
Vidhi: No Rajesh… Shivaay is right… I am also responsible for all this. I should have stopped you, I should have talked you out of all this but instead of all that I let you do what you did… I let you make Shivaay away from us and I blamed you for everything when it wasn’t your fault.
Dadi: Shivaay puttar… we understand that you are angry and upset… But this is not how you talk to anyone. They may have done a mistake but don’t punish them like this. They don’t deserve this and you should forgive them.
Pinky: Haa Shivaay, do you think it was easy for them to live without you all these years when they knew they have a son and still cannot have him.

Anika walked towards Shivaay and kept her hand on his shoulder,

Anika: Shivaay… I know and I understand what you are feeling, but this is not the way to deal with it. They are your parents and they have also been through the same pain that you have been in the past years. At least you lived with the fact that you had no one but look at them, they had to live with the fact that they have a son and still could not be with him.
Omkara: Haa Shivaay… Anika is right. They did a mistake and they regret it. And they deserve a second chance.
Ishana: Haa Shivaay, life is too short to hold it against people who care for us, and life is all about the decisions we take and the choices we make. Don’t make a choice in anger and take a decision that you would regret forever.
Anika: Shivaay… They did a mistake… But you please don’t make this mistake.
Jhanvi: Shivaay… Take your own time but make the right choice.
Shivaay: I need to be alone for some time.

Everyone understood this and Shivaay walked away to his room.

POOLSIDE,

Shivaay was sitting staring at the water, a thousand thoughts running through his mind,

Shivaay (thinking): So many years have passed… I don’t even remember them… I don’t have any memories with them… They may be my parents… And maybe they love me… But how can I forget everything and pretend that nothing has happened.

LIVING ROOM,

Vidhi was sitting with Pinky and Jhanvi who were consoling her,

Pinky: Vidhi, don’t worry, Shivaay is understanding and he just needs time.
Vidhi: I have got my son after so many years, I just don’t want to lose him again.

Anika comes there, Pinky and Jhanvi signal her to talk to Vidhi, Anika nods and they leave, Anika sits beside Vidhi,

Anika: Maa…

Vidhi looked at Anika with tears in her eyes, Vidhi hugged Anika tightly and started crying, Anika was taken aback but hugged Vidhi and calmed her down,

Anika: Maa… Please stop crying… Shivaay will forgive you and come back to you… He just needs some time… Please stop crying like this.
Vidhi: Anika… I don’t know how to thank you… If you had not met Rajesh… I would have never got my Shivaay back.
Anika: Maa… Please don’t say thank you… I did what is right for Shivaay and our family.

Vidhi smiled at her and placed her hand on her head,

Vidhi: Shivaay is lucky to have a wife like you and we are lucky that you are a part of our family.

POOLSIDE,

Ishana came there and saw Shivaay sitting there lost in thoughts, she went and stood beside him,

Ishana: When I had decided to forgive Dad… (Shivaay looked at her) … I was in this same situation… I did not know how to forgive him… I knew that I didn’t hate him but I was just angry, hurt and upset with him… And I knew that he is my father after all… And no one can change that fact… And I understood that I could not hold it against him forever… I have to give him a chance…
Shivaay: Your case is different Ishu…
Ishana: No Shivaay… Reasons may have been different but situation is the same… I know it is not easy but it is not difficult either… You need time and take it but don’t be late…
Shivaay: Thank you so much Ishu…
Ishana: Thank you… Really… It is not necessary that always you have to make us understand… Sometimes even we can make you understand…
Shivaay: Okay… Samajh gaya

Shivaay smiles and Ishana is relieved to see him smile.

LIVING ROOM,

Everyone was sitting in the living room thinking of what Shivaay was going to decide and waiting for his decision.

Soumya: I hope jiju makes the right decision.
Rudra: I don’t know what to say. This must be so hard for him, deciding something like this.
Soumya: I know my jiju. He is a strong man but when it comes to family, everyone has their own weaknesses.
Rudra: Don’t worry, Bhaiya will make everything fine. And when Bhabhi is there with him, we shouldn’t worry.

Soumya hugged Rudra,

Soumya: I hope so.

OTHER SIDE,

Anika was sitting waiting for Shivaay,

Anika (thinking): I have known him for years now… But I feel like I don’t know what he is going to decide… If it was for me or this family… He would not think twice before deciding… But this time it is his parents… And I don’t know what is going to happen…

She was thinking when she saw Shivaay coming down.
They all stood up and waited for Shivaay to say something, he looked at Vidhi and Rajesh, who had tears in their eyes, and then he looked at Anika, she was waiting for him to say it,

Omkara: Shivaay…
Anika: No Om… Let him say it.

Shivaay looked at everyone once and took a breath,

Shivaay: I have made my decision… (All of them looked at him) … I am ready to give you both a chance.

Everyone was happy hearing this.

Vidhi hugged Rajesh, who was shocked and happy by her behavior, after a long time, he not only got his son back, he also got the person who meant everything to him.
Anika walked to Shivaay,

Anika: I am so happy for you.
Shivaay: This would not have happened without you.

Shivaay hugged Anika.

Shivaay then walked to Vidhi and Rajesh, he looked at them and smiled, he hugged them and that was the moment they thought they would never have in their life. After years of waiting, a family was complete once again.

All of them were happy to see the three of them together.
