OBEROI MANSION,
Today, the beauty of Oberoi Mansion was at its peak, after all it was Tej Singh Oberoi’s elder daughter, Ishana’s wedding. The entire mansion was decorated with happiness dwelling in every corner. There was great hustle and bustle all around the mansion.
ISHANA’S ROOM,
Anika (Golden saree with dark green blouse) and Soumya (Royal Blue lehenga with golden blouse and dupatta) come inside, but Ishana was not there,
Anika: Where is Ishu?
Soumya: I think she is in the washroom. Let’s check.
Anika (knocks the door of the washroom): Ishu… Ishu… (She rotates the knob and finds the door open, they check inside but Ishana was not there) Ishu is not here, where is she then?
Soumya: What will we do now? Ishu ran away from the wedding.
Anika: Soumya, shut up yaar. Why will she run away? She must be here only. Let’s check outside.
They both search the mansion but could not find Ishana, they get tensed.
LIVING ROOM,
ShivRu were busy checking the arrangements, TejVi and ShInky were busy with the guests. AniSou come there.
Dadi: Allu, Ishu is ready naa. Soon the rituals will start.
Anika: Dadi… wo…
Shakti: What happened Anika, you look worried?
Soumya: Chote Papa… wo… Ishu is missing.
All of them get shocked.
Jhanvi: Ishu is missing. Soumya, what are you saying?
Anika: She is right Badi Maa, we looked everywhere but Ishu is nowhere.
Shivaay: But why will she go anywhere today? It is her wedding.
Rudra: What will we tell Om Bhaiya? He is ready and waiting for her.
They look at Om who was smiling and sitting in the mandap, happiness was clearly seen on his face. Today was the beginning of the new phase of his life.
Tej: We won’t tell him anything. There is still sometime, let’s check once again.
Anika: I think Bade Papa is right. We should check once again.
They all are about to go but Jhanvi stops them.
Jhanvi: No need to go anywhere.
Rudra: But Aunty…
Jhanvi: I know where Ishu is. You all be here only, and look after here. I’ll go and get her.

IN ONE CORNER OF OBEROI MANSION,
Ishana was sitting in the corner, she was wearing her wedding attire, the red lehenga with golden threadwork, the golden jewelry, the red dupatta, today she was going to get married to the person she loves the most, Om, who loves her more than anyone in the world, after today her life would change completely.
But away from all that, she was sitting here, alone, in one corner, she was lost in thoughts. She had seen so many failed relations in her life that now, even after knowing Om for so long, knowing that he loved her truly and that she loved him, she was not having the courage to move ahead, something was stopping her.
She bent her head down and sat down with tears.
Jhanvi and Tej come there and look at Ishana, they get worried and go and sit beside her.
Jhanvi: Ishu…
Ishana looked up and saw Jhanvi and Tej looking at her with concern, she could not hold anymore and hugged Jhanvi tightly, tears were now flowing from her eyes, Jhanvi caressed her hair and calmed her down, she looked at Tej, both understood the reason for Ishana was sitting here alone.
Tej: Ishu… (Ishana looked at him, he gently wiped her tears) Ishu… I know what is going on in your mind… I can understand… After seeing the way how your mom’s and my relation changed… You are afraid to start a new relation… And with whatever happened with Yash and you… It must be difficult for you… But don’t let the mistakes done by us affect your happiness… I haven’t known Om for a long time… But in the short time that I have spent with him… And by seeing how much you both love each other… I am very sure of one thing… You both are going to be very happy together… Always… (He smiles at her and she smiles back)
Jhanvi: Ishu… No relation can be continued by the efforts of any one person… I know your dad has done many mistakes… But it was not only his fault… I am also equally responsible… (Tej and Ishana look at her surprised) I know I may have blamed him for everything… But I should have stopped him at the right time… I should have brought him back to us… But instead I pushed him away… So the mistakes were done by both of us and our children had to bear the punishments… But You and Om… You both won’t repeat the mistakes we did… You both will be happy always
Ishana: I love you both
She hugs them and they hug her back, Tej smiles at Jhanvi and she smiles back.
Tej: Okay, now I think we should go back. Everyone there is worried and waiting for us.
Jhanvi: Wait a minute (She removes kajol from her eyes and applies it to Ishana) May God bless you.
Ishana gets up and Jhanvi helps her with her attire and make-up. Tej kisses Ishana’s fore-head.
LIVING ROOM,
All of them were waiting for TejVi.
Anika: I think I should go and check once.
Pinky: No need to go anywhere (She points towards the corridor)
They all look and see Ishana coming with Tej-Jhanvi, she was looking beautiful, Om could not take his eyes off her. Ishana looks at him and smiles. Jhanvi makes Ishana sit next to Om. All are happy seeing them together.
The rituals start.
Priest: Vadhu ke mata-pita aage aaye, kanyadaan ke liye.
Jhanvi: Tej, let’s go.
Tej: No Jhanvi, it is not my right but someone else’s.
All of them look at him surprised and confused.
Tej: Kanyadaan will be done by Shakti and Pinky.
Shakti: But bhai saab…
Tej: No Shakti, it is your right, when I was busy in my own world, you took care of Ishu and Soumya. Pinky and you deserve this.
They all are happy hearing this, Pinky and Shakti have tears in their eyes.
Jhanvi: Tej is right.
Shakti-Pinky nod and climb the mandap, they do the kanyadaan and bless Ishkara.
TO ONE SIDE,
Shivaay (on call): Hello… Yes… What… I am coming.
He sees Anika and goes to her and tells her something.
Anika: How did this happen… I am also coming with you.
Shivaay: No Anika, you should stay here and take care of everything. I’ll go and check the situation there.
Anika: But Shivaay…
Shivaay: Don’t worry. I’ll manage and take care of everything. (He kissed her fore-head and smiled)
He leaves while Anika is worried.
The wedding continues. The other rituals are done. Ishkara take blessings from all elders.
