Ishqbaaz 16th March 2017 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
Someone digs the ground. Shivaye and Anika see the ground. Anika recalls kinner’s words. Anika says if this is true, then everything will be true, coming 10 days will be heavy for you. Shivaye says get habitual to me, you have to be with Tadibaaz. Anika says Aw.. He smiles and hugs her. O jaana…plays……. Some time before, Buamaa sees Dadi and greets her. She asks why are you sad, its marriage house, there should be dhol playing. Dadi says Priyanka is marrying, and Jhanvi’s house is breaking, Om is marrying Shwetlana, how shall I celebrate. Buamaa says don’t worry, I will end this sadness, when people forget laugh, if they get a reason to laugh, the sorrow goes away.
She explains the rule of game, asking all women to put jewelry in this bowl. Priyanka says I don’t think Tej will play this game. Dadi says why not, Buamaa did a lot for them, he will even give life if she asks. Buamaa says turn that side, one who cheats will get disqualified. The women give their jewelry. Shivaye gets Buamaa’s fav chilly cheese toast. Buamaa says I hate it, but I love when its made by you, its beyond words. She hugs him. Rudra asks what’s this game.
She says its test of this family men, how well they know the women, you have to identify whose jewelry is it. She stops Tej. He says I won’t play kiddish game. She says you are also like a kid, your doings are like kids. Tej sees Jhanvi. She recalls his madness. Tej gets necklace. Buamaa asks whose necklace is it. Tej says Jhanvi. Buamaa says then go and make her wear it.
Tej makes Jhanvi wear it. He says I have imp work, I have to leave. Buamaa says you can go now. He leaves. Someone comes outside the house. Soumya asks did you put your charm bracelet, Shivaye will know. Anika says we will see.
Rudra sees Soumya. He picks bangle and says its Maa’s. He makes Jhanvi wear it. Buamaa says Jhanvi you are so lucky, your sons love you. Jhanvi thanks Buamaa for giving them these moments, it looks as if everything for fine. Buamaa says Shivaye, its your turn now. He sees Anika. He says I have to make imp call. Pinky says I don’t think he will identify my jewelry. Shakti says if not Shivaye, I will find it. Pinky asks really, I don’t have expectations, I have put ring, get it. Buamaa says its test for the men. Pinky says my husband and son are zero, they don’t know anything about me. Shakti goes to check. Pinky says I told so much, even then you did not get. She gets ring and asks him to make her wear it. Buamaa says I think I should disqualify you. Shakti says please don’t say this, else, Pinky will make me sleep on sofa for a week. Someone digs the soil.
Buamaa says its Shivaye’s turn. Rudra says he can’t do. Buamaa asks why, he will do. Rudra says its jewelry, not business deal. Shivaye gets bracelet and keeps in pocket. He shows bangle and says its of my mum. Pinky gets glad and says my son, make me wear it, my son has kept my respect. Buamaa says now game is over, take jewelry back. They all go.
Anika takes bowl and looks for her bracelet. Shivaye looks on. Rudra comes in Soumya’s way. He says your earrings and gives her. She asks how do you know its mine. He says I just knew. She says I did not know you will notice. He says I noticed a lot and goes.
Soumya wears earrings. She asks Anika about her bracelet. Anika says yes, I did not get it. Soumya asks where did it go. Anika says don’t know, I m finding it. Khanna asks Shivaye to come fast and see the pit. Anika says its same what that kinner said. Shivaye recalls kinner’s words. Anika says if this is true, all of her words will turn true. Shivaye asks Khanna to find out who did this. Anika says she also said coming ten days will be problematic for you. Shivaye says it can be coincidence, she is not Lord to know what is going to happen. She says Aw. He says what Aw, its not Aw moment. She asks when is it then, I don’t understand. He says leave it. She asks him to explain. He says this is not time. He goes.
Scene shifts to their room. Shivaye holds her hand and makes her wear the bracelet. She asks did you have this. He says if I made you wear this, obviously it would be with me. She asks did you know its mine. He says since I know you, I identify this, even when you did not say how much imp is it, your innocence, foolishness, courage, attitude and this bracelet, all this makes you Anika.
She asks you notice me and my things so much. He asks is there need to ask. She says if anyone does not say, have to ask. He says I m such, can’t express myself. She says so maybe that’s why you like Aw. He says this is not just bracelet Anika, its a feeling, your support, you know why there are so many moons in it, as you are scared of darkness, this moon is mad like you to leave in darkness, but one who leaves in darkness, lights the dark night, you don’t need moon to get saved of darkness, because those who are alone are scared, you are not alone now. He does shayari. She says this … He says I learnt this from Sahil, I m not Jugnu/lightning bug, I m Suraj/sun, those who are with sun is not scared of darkness. She says you said such a big sweet thing in total Tadi, you know you are real Tadibaaz.
He says get habitual to me, you have to stay with this Tadibaaz now. She says Aw….. He smiles and looks at her. He instantly hugs her. O jaana….plays…….. He gets back. She looks at him. He holds her and says you are my wife, you can hug, I think you should hug, come on Anika yes, its simple. Anika hugs him. Ishq hai aansu….plays…….
Shivaye is on flight. The flight attendant says flight is on time, we will land in an hour. Lady asks would you like to have another cup of black coffee. He says ya, I would like another Saira Banu, I mean Americano. She serves him.
He thanks her and thinks of Anika. He says Anika’s black coffee. The lady comes back and says Sir, please come with me. She handcuffs him to the pole. He gets shocked. The lady catches the attender and looks at Shivaye.

Wow….I loved today’s episode….well the first half….there was a big ear to ear smile on my face for the whole time…..I was so happy that after so long there was only love n happiness in the whole episode, nothing negative (except for that pit- but that can be ignored) but know it for last 3-4 minutes they had to show that hijack drama….
But suddenly in flight…shivika ko at least proper bye bye toh karna chahiye tha

Game seemed interesting… but anika did cheating, v all know the bracelet is of anika,but the dialogues which followed regarding the bracelet was just so emotional, true that the bracelet represents Anika.. I want one toooo .. But did not seem like Shivay was saying the dialogues or some sync problem there

It’s not new mystery. Leenesh has posted an old video from the pilot shoot of IB that means this video was shot by the makers before the show was launched on TV. After pilot shoot they ve changed a lot of things. Then his name was Agastya Singh Oberoi but when show was launched it was changed to Rudr Singh Oberoi. So no worries.

I should confess something today.. More than enjoying “SHIVIKA” today, I should say I enjoyed “NARBHI”.
So what makes me say this –
1.. When he said the jugnu dialog, the way surbhi looked bewildered with a drop of tear starting to emerge..
2.. When Surbhi said, Itni Badi, itni sweet bath bol diya apne.. the way her voice chocked.. wow!!
3.. Then when she said, ‘lekin pure thadi mein’, at that moment, for a second the camera spans to Shivaay where he lets out a little sigh.. like saying that’s how I am
4.. The puzzled look Surbhi put up after his sudden hug
5.. When Nakul said, I think tumhe hug karna chahiye, he raised his right eyebrow a little.. that was another wow!
6.. And just a millisecond before hugging him back Surbhi gave this “what the hell, of course I can hug and I wanna” kinda of look.. it lasted hardly for a sec but meant loads..
7.. And after the hug, the smile Nakul let out, it was like radiating shivaay’s eternal state of bliss with a sense of accomplishment. That smile itself felt like a statement that said – I feel so complete with you in my arms!!

Your 6th n 7th point is what I enjoyed the most in the episode. What the hell expression of Surbhi was so readable from her expression. How can somebody convey the words so perfectly thru the expression.? Coz am more of a sitcom person my most fav Jodi is Monica n Chandler (Mondler). Shivika is my second fav. But if given more romantic n lighter moments between Shivika, they ll be my No.1. But hands down they are my fav. Indian TV Jodi till date. All credits to Narbhi for Shivika.
A reply to whether it’s the actors or directors contribution, from some off screen videos of Narbhi I made out that they improvise n ask for approval from the director. Kya main Aisa kar Sakthi/saktha hoon?? I ve heard them ask this. Plus in one IV of Nakuul, I ve heard him say, Surbhi is unlike all the actors he has worked till date, she acts n tries new things which is gr8. He said they kinda feed off each other. Hip Hip Hurray to Narbhi..!!

Last weak only saterday episode is damakedaar and all other episodes are bullshits….and cvs u got result for ur stupidity…..show more negativity ur trp will get more less….
Im really glad about trp dropped now this cvs will learn a lesson….and its result of banning media on sets…..

Yeah Ashtha you are right.. TRP dropped because of stupid K’mini pallu and also triple negativity from the Randhawa gang.. But this weeks TRP I hope will be high because of all the super cute and Aww Shivika moments..
DBO also dropped because of the stupid Swetlana illogical plot and Tej Ka negativity.. the writers are in a fix I think. If Jahnvi moves out, then OmRu also won’t stay in OM.. That’s why i think they are flip flopping with Jahnvi Tej in IB and DBO..
Yesterday’s episode was pretty sweet. And i think the Rumya moment was to show that Ru is also starting to fall for Saumya..

Hai, ishqbaazians. Today’s episode was totally a pleasant surprisefor me. On the base of yesterday’s precap,I expected a dramatic episode based on the sayings of the kinnar. But today, we witnessed a family moment after so long. Though I missed Om’s presence there, it was very pleasing.
Buama is very sweet and supportive towards all of the Oberois till now. Despite unliking chilly cheese toast, she showed her love to Shivaay by not denying them❤
The game was very cute. Tejhanvi is having a distance between them which is very difficult to be mitigation. Yet Tej recognised Jhanvi’s jewellery. The element which made Jhanvi run from her wedding with Rana is still lying between them unrecognised.
Coming to Rumya, Soumya was a little sad when Rudy took Jhanvi’s bangle. But when he returned her earrings, her face had a glow which may loose in our eyes because of coming up grey shade in her character ???. Rudra noticed a lot things in her. Looking forward ??
Shinky ki toh baat karne ki baat hai hi nahi. Shakti is always numb before his wife, in talking as well as actions. Especially after the entry of Kamini. His mouth and activities got double sealed??? Bechara. When Shivaay selected Pinky’s bangle and gave it to her, even I felt happy. Shakti always fail in impressing his wife. Sofa mein solayegi???
Shivika??? They were love today. The way Shivaay stealthily took Ani’s Chand bracelet from the bowl??, chori-chori khelne mein billuji peeche nahi hai. Humne dekha tha?? From her wear the bracelet till the hug was pure bliss. Shivaay Singh Oberoi may not be expressive, but Shivaay is expressive to an extent. How sweetly he explained Anika’s chand??
“Jiske panche Ko ittu SA diya gira deta hai usse kya Darna hai jisse Jugnu Hara deta hai”
We was made familiarised with this by Sahil. We saw him calming down his sister who was damn sacred with these sweet words. Once Shivaay tried to spill out about Anika’s scariness towards darkness from Sahil. But, becoz of his so called ‘TADI’?? and Sahil being not so less, it failed. But when he knew everything from Sahil, he didn’t even let a word to be forgotten.
He himself declared him being Anika’s protector. He being Sun, there will be no darkness to frighten her. Day before yesterday if her words made him go “Awwwww” today his words made her “awwwww” and not letting his Tadi fever go away from him??. The first hug of Shivika out of love. It was so special. Shivaay hugged Ani was shocked. He realised that she didn’t reciprocated. He again reminded that she is his BIWI and can hug and made her hug him???. The smile on Shivaay’s face looked like a victorious smile after conquering the whole world.
The last part (plane) felt like being a dream. Anyway in that also Shivaay’s cuteness reflected in uttering “Sairabano” and reminiscing the old Kaali coffee moment. Precap same like a dream sequence.
Shivika’s relationship is growing up day by day. This phase seems like to be more beautiful than expected. Anyway predictions are restricted for Ishqbaaaz. So just looking forward ??

I am skipping writing on the first part just to start with my fav second part.
It was a dream come true for every Shivikan I am sure. The bracelet moment was something I always wanted to see happening between Shivika. It was so beautifully written. Dialogue writers ?? You are one reason why we love Shivika. Shivikas first romantic hug was so beautiful. I have no words. Shivays smile when Annika hugged him is to die for ? NarBhi have given their heart n soul to the scenes ?? CVs, they are gems u ve, plz make use of their chemistry.
But having said that there were two major hiccups I felt, the dubbing n the glary background light…!!
First half was just to show Buamaa in IB I feel. It was an enjoyable filler sequence. Off late, the couples are colour coordinated n I like it. Yesterday the entire cast was in black n it was cool. This trend is good, makers…!!
The last sequence is Annikas dream they say. But why such a weird dream?? I mean there is something fishy?? I also read post the dream Annika ll feel Shivays behaviour little odd.
P.S.- I have mentioned it in the last page but still putting it here. TRP of the show has dropped from 2.8 to 2.4 this week. I was for sure expecting a 0.2 drop but this was unexpected.
Somehow I feel banning the spoiler videos and media (SBS n SBB) is one good reason for the drop.
Channel, how do you expect the show to do well when you cannot create interest for the next episode even among the existing fan base. Plz show the damn PRECAP. Stop your sautelapan when it comes to regular promos.

The crucial dialogues were not his own voice.
I didn’t enjoy it the first time I watched.. but the second time I watched that scene, j think that light was intentional.. imho, I interpreted that light scene to indicate how with that blurred up hug, their souls are merging into each other and to indicate that with that hug they are united as one..They just used that lighting show Shivika’s oneness.. and then the CVs let us enjoy the hug, by slowly moving the camera and revealing the two.. instead of the airplane scene i could have done with a few more seconds of Shivika hug..
Lax, as u said the makers have to utilise these 2 gems yaar! They set the screen on fire?? the episode yesterday was loaded with passion and romance! Hiccups.. yes dialog sink.. and this lighting.. I think in all shivika mommts this lighting thing comes into picture.. I think they are making it kinda shivika signature or something.. but I think skipping that would be better.. Narbhis expression by itself are quite sufficient to light up the screen..

I donno about the teens and youngsters today….but personally I would definitely not like to hear just an aww from my hubby’s mouth!!

But Anika’s Aww at the end of the romantic convo…..mwaaah!! About the AWW, sure I would never want hubby to answer me in interjection/exclamation. I know its damn irritating when you get such a reply after deep emotional expression of words. But here the ‘aw’ which shivay expressed, i thought it was to pull anika’s leg… he seemed mischievous to me….
He was kind of lost to anika’s confession… he could not reply in the same tone.. he dint expect her to b so emotional neither had he prepared himself for it…
he wanted to get out of the awkward situation and get back to his comfort zone… so in a fraction of a second his brain worked (!) and let out the sound aw/onh .
And lo behold! He got the situation under his control!! Only to be drenched in anika’s disappointment!
So according to me he was not conveying his feelings.
He carried it further to next episode only bcos he got amused by anika’s reaction… and somehow he wanted to convey that he too felt the same for her.
This is my view… donno if you agree.

I totally agree with that interpretation.. of Shivaay’s mischievousness..also by teasing her about how to say Aww and not Oh.. he was hiding his own feelings about Annika’s confession.
But slowly over the next few episodes he revealed to her and us his feelings as he warmed up to the idea of revealing what is in his heart, just like Annika had revealed to him..
I wouldn’t mind such a minimalistic Aww in real life as long as the rest of the revealations follow.. Shivaay’s slow and steady transition from an Aww.. to the explanation behind his Aww to his understanding of Annika’s fears and his support of her against her fears and his hug..All is so much more s*xier than what he could have said immediately after hearing Annika’s confession..

dont whats the hijack drama is all about, if there are two swetlanas in dbo, there are 2 identical airhostess in IB.
one thing for sure is that sowmya didnt dig that hole but how come oberoi mansion’s security guards always come to know about everything after all have been done?if they are that useless, i think only cctv cwmera and alarm systems would be enough for oberois instead of wasting money on these guards.
Rumya though their life situation is different compared to shivika there love scenes is similar- 1) they found the ring together like shivika in post-marriage ritual
2) romance of rumya upstairs and shivika downstairs with do dil mil rahe hain BGM
3) today both brothers finding the jewellery of their respective lady love first but preferred to give them later and chose their respective mums jewelleries.
if vanvaas promo turns out to be true one day, then its rudra who is going to be lakshman and omkara will be bharat in my opinion. but i dont dont think there will be any vanvaas , dont want it too 😀

1st tym shivika hug without any fear of impending danger lurking round the corner. It was special. Shivaay smile was like a cherry on the cake (even though I don’t like cherry on the cake) which represented ultimate bliss.
