Episode 8:-
Samika reaches home .She helps her mother and do something in garden. She goes to her room and she takes her books .She tries to study but she is disturbed by Manya’s thoughts . Then she tries to touch the pendant she worn in her neck only to realize that it is now missing. She gets worried and where did she lost it . She searches it her home and in the garden . But she didn’t get it . She gets sad . She tells her mother and she also search for it . She thinks to go out for search but before she come out Dev reaches there . She gets surprised seeing him . She ask him -“ What are you doing here? So …” He interrupts her – “ Please don’t judge me before I speak . Listen I got this ( shows the pendant) from lake side . I thought it’s yours so came here to give this . And one more thing I came here by Asking your address to people . Please don’t say that I was following you”. Samika smiles in happiness. She holds his hands ( ishq mein Marjawan song plays ) and says -“ You have no idea . What happiness you have given me ? Thank you so much”. Dev become surprised and happy. She takes it from his hands and he looks at her. Dev- “ Only Thank you . And nothing?” Samika looks at him as she didn’t understand him. Dev -“ Actually it seems that this pendant is really close to you and I given it you when you lost it . And ..” Samika-“ What else you want ? “ . Dev- “. Friendship”. Samika- “ So you wouldn’t accept nothing other than friendship ?” Dev – “ Yes . Nothing less nothing more. So will you be my friend? “ Samika smiles – “ ok “. Dev- “ That’s great . see you then “. Samika nods . Dev leaves .
Next day , Samika goes to college.Riya is absent she went to her grandma’ s home. Police came to college about enquiry of Arijit’ s murder . Then enquire to Samika also. They leave after asking to other students . After her college she comes out and finds Dev outside her campus . She gets surprised and goes to him .Samika -“ When did you come? What are you doing here?” Dev- “ Just 1/2 hr ago . Would you mind having coffee with me ?” Samika- “ What ? “ Dev – “ Don’t you understand English? See we became friends yesterday. So I thought let’s talk about each by having a coffee as a good start “. Samika – “ Ok. But I wouldn’t come with you in your car . If you are ok . Then let’s walk “. Dev -“ Ok . Fine . You take me to the best coffee shop here “. Samika -“ Done”. They walk and reach a coffee shop . They order for coffee and they start to talk.Samika –
“ So. You are here till ? “ Dev-“ 6 months as per plan for this project. But Iam thinking to shift here permanently. Actually I really like this place . Here it is so peaceful and beautiful”. Samika – “ Yes ,Shimla is really good place. By the way plan is not bad. So tell about your family”. Dev-“ My mother is my family. I lost my father when I was 12 years old . From then on my mother struggled a lot to brought me up . She is my world”. Samika smiles. Dev-“ Now it’s your turn . Tell me what are you doing? I know you are studying in college . Which subject? Who all are there in your family? Come on “. Samika-“ Iam studying B.com . First year . In my family, me ,my Papa , Ma , & 2 brothers – one elder and one younger brother”. Dev-“ That’s so sweet.
Lucky . So what you want to be ? Career ? “ Samika-“ Bank job . Like my Papa . He is my role model “. Dev- “ Ok . That’s nice “. Waiter brings them coffee and they have it . They talk to each other and enjoy their coffee. When bill comes they splits bill after both of them want to pay it. They comes out and walk while talking to each other. While Samika is talking , Dev looks at her ( ishq mein Marjawan song plays). He takes his eyes from her when she looks him . A thief comes there . Tries to snatch her pendent but unable to do it . So he push her and run away . She hold Dev to escape from fall ( ishq mein Marjawan song plays). They look each other for just a moment. He ask if she is ok . She tells him that she is ok. They reach back to college as his car is parked there. She says” bye “and Dev -“ Bye . Thank you . It was really nice to spend time with you. Take care”. Samika -“ No thank you No sorry between friends isn’t it ? “ Dev- “ok “. Samika leaves . Dev looks at her .
Mysterious girl is standing at other side and watching them . She says looking at Samika – “ when you got so happy don’t you think it’s time to be sad . It’s really important for proper balance”. She smiles.
Precap :- Dev is waiting for her at a park ( evening time) . It becomes night . Someone ( masked person ) with knife comes behind Samika and she is running through forest . Dev is looking at watch . She falls down and that person is about to stab her.
