why do i feel kabir is going to face something bad and is acting suspicious . that shadow maybe vansh looking at its height and physique

I was expecting the TRP to increase this week, but its still the same. I don’t know about others, but I found this track surrounding Riddhima’s parents interesting, I really want to know how and what happened to them. But of course I do feel that the writers could have presented all this in a much better manner. Their sloppy writing combined with illogical stuff and lots of loopholes, is responsible for taking the show down. Earlier people were willing to watch the show inspite of all this just to see amazing chemistry between the leads. But not now anymore I guess.

Can someone over here atleast confirm if IMMJ is the slot leader or not? What is the TRP of the other 2 shows competing with it?

I agree that it is really disappointing that the TRP of the show is so low. However, I don’t think the low TRP is just because of the changes in the storyline, I think the problem is that the show is mainly popular amongst younger audiences (people in their teens and 20s). Many of these people don’t have tv subscriptions. Since these audiences were at home during the quarantine they could actually watch the series, but ever since most college students returned back to their hostels in January, it was inevitable that the TRP would go down. I actually wonder how the serial would have been done if it aired before or after the lockdown….maybe it would have not lasted as long if it did not make its mark with older audiences from the onset or it would last longer because it would have already established an audience base amongst older people…who knows. Perhaps, it’s still possible to raise the TRP, but I’m not too optimistic….I remember a few weeks ago Pinjara Khubsurati Ka’s TRP fell to 1.2, but then rose to 1.6 and now it is at 1.4, so maybe it’s possible for IMM2 to increase it’s TRP. In any case, it is a shame that the show is not getting good TRP because it is really good compared to all the other Indian TV serials. I think the series started to go downhill after the Vihaan basketball episode…..I think the makers probably wanted to do more interesting things with the Vihaan character, but the audience was not patient enough, so they wrapped that storyline up a little quickly and intoduced some silly things like the Joker episode, etc. I also think they wrapped up the whole storyline with Anupriya/Vansh’s mom’s death too soon and did not develop the character of Ahana properly. I personally miss Anupriya’s character a lot. I think since mid-December the makers have been so concerned with TRP and audience backlash that they have just been changing storylines so quickly and leaving loopholes. I personally didn’t even mind the Vansh revenge track completely, if it gave Riddhima the opportunity to be a little stronger (not in complete revenge mode), but again they had to change all of that because of the poor reception. That all goes to say that the makers are partially to blame for their poor execution, the audience is partially to blame for their impatience, and then there is that X factor of the show probably never getting very high TRP because it is mainly popular amongst younger audiences. In any case, I will continue watching the show until the end and I hope it can get good TRP again. However, if it continues like this, I think the makers themselves should set an end date for the show and end the series on their own terms with a good storyline. I honestly never had a problem with the show ending soon because I think it’s always better to make a thriller show a limited series because the quality of the show will eventually decrease if it is on for years. However, I don’t like that it has been treated so poorly and is being threatened to go off air…. Also, besides its initial concept, I don’t think the actual storylines of IMM2 were its strength, I think I really started liking the show because of RIanish and the chemisty/good casting of all the actors, the amazing performances, the very well-developed and complex characters, the beautiful costume and set design, and the incredible dialogues. You can see the sincereity with which everyone on the IMM2 team works, so it feels bad that their work is not being properly rewarded. In any case, perhaps the show ending will be a blessing in disguise for a lot of the actors….I really think Rrahul Sudhir can potentially have a career in Bollywood (he has shown great improvement in acting since the start of the series and I think that perhaps the show was a good learning experience in acting for him, since he is new to the industry). He really did master the role of Vansh and it really does not feel like he is acting when you see him on screen. I am sure Helly Shah will quickly come back with a new show or film in no time…she is a pro and she has been doing this for a long time. She also created a wonderfully nuanced and interesting Riddhima. Sorry for the long post, I just had a lot of thoughts about the recent developments going on in the show. This is all to say, that if the show survives, that would be great, but if it goes off-air I just hope the makers really execute the last few episodes really well and give audiences and the series the ending that it deserves!
