The Episode starts with Vansh calling out Riddhima. Someone loads the sniper gun and aims at Vansh. Vansh shouts Riddhima…. Riddhima shoots him and smiles. Vansh falls down. She comes to meet someone. Six hours before, Vansh runs with his bleeding arm, shouting Riddhima. He sees someone running away. He sees her and follows. He gets hit by a tree and faints. Present time, Angre comes to Vansh. Vansh says Riddhima…. Angre says she is fine, she is safe, you got shot, its bleeding, come with me. Siya comes and holds Riddhima. Riddhima hides her bag. Siya says you came along, where did you leave Vansh. Riddhima says I m also thinking the same, Chang’s goons got after us, Vansh saved me and sent me back, don’t know where is he.

Anupriya says Vansh is coming with Angre, I will keep a 15 day fast that our family got saved, the fire is put off. Dadi says no, fire isn’t put off. She goes. She goes. Ishani asks how can anyone be so heartless, they burnt the entire house to show their fake death, they didn’t think about the family. Aryan says its obvious, Riddhima is more imp than family for Vansh. Ishani says their plan to run away has failed, so they are coming back home. Angre gets Vansh home. Siya asks Angre to call the doctor, Vansh is so hurt. Vansh says no, where is Riddhima. He goes upstairs. Dadi looks on. Angre gets Vansh to his room. Riddhima hugs Vansh. Vansh asks you okay. She says you got shot, sit here, I will call the doctor. He says I m not so weak that a bullet takes my life, I can’t see you going away, you don’t know what I went through when I didn’t see you in the jungle, come to me, I don’t need the doctor, where did you go, I searched for you, I didn’t get you, how did you come home.

She says I fainted there, when I opened eyes and you weren’t beside, I didn’t find you, I got scared and came home, I asked Angre to find you and get you home. She hugs him. His phone falls down. She stops him and says don’t exert yourself, I will pass it. She hands over the phone. She says I will get first aid kit and also call the doctor. She goes. He is about to see the bag hiding. He gets a call. A guy says its time for you to listen, Riddhima is not yours, its painful, I know Riddhima’s foot was hurt. He disconnects. Vansh recalls. Angre comes and says doctor has come. Vansh says I will come. Riddhima asks Vansh to sit, she will clean the blood marks. Vansh says you care a lot for me, I will come, I stay in your heart, where will I go, you don’t go anywhere. He goes. She takes the bag and puts it in the cupboard.

Kabir gets up and coughs. He is wounded and chained up. He shouts is anyone there. He asks someone to help. Vansh sees the bullet. He recalls the shooter. Riddhima wipes the blood marks off his shoulder. He says wounds are on both the sides and just one side is treated, how insensitive, come. She says I m fine. He says we will just get sure if you are hurt. She says nothing is hidden from you, I can’t hide anything from you even if I want. He sees her foot. He thinks of the shooter. He says you are my life. She says you are also my everything. She hugs him.

Its night, Vansh wears his shirt. Riddhima helps him. She says you should have taken rest today. He says sweetheart, I like to be with you, but I have to go, business is like a second wife. She says so work on first wife today. He says interesting, what can you do. She says say what I can’t do. He says you can do anything. She says you just need to give me a chance. He says I will give, but not now, enemies are many, they were outside the house before and not inside, you rest, take care. He goes downstairs. Aryan says looking cool as always. Riddhima looks on. Aryan says I didn’t understand how did you come back after the death drama. Vansh says I should get Chang’s file on my table. Aryan says my men have seen a girl in red dress, she had a sniper rifle with her, any idea, who could that girl be. Vansh says people who hide and shoot are called cowards, we should be careful of those who appear as dear ones and are enemies. Vansh goes and moves the cupboard to get inside. Riddhima calls someone and says I have seen Vansh’s hideout. She also goes there. She sees Vansh’s office. Vansh says you know how much loss we will face if you fail. Angre asks what happened. Vansh says we have to be alert, who is watching us and hearing our talks.

He catches Riddhima. He asks Angre to do his work, he will just come. Vansh and Riddhima come to their room. She says sorry. He asks her to relax. She says I was finding a book to read, I was feeling bored. He says let me guess, you were looking for a murder mystery. She says no, it was a love story. He says interesting, very interesting, I think something and you answer something else, either I m thinking wrong or you are doing wrong.

He says you look worried, what happened. Riddhima says nothing such, I feel tensed. She hugs him. He says I fainted for 6-7 hours, don’t know what you went through. She says I had told you, I had also fainted, I didn’t know where I m, I looked for you, shouted, I came home somehow and sent Angre to find you, why are you asking me, do you have any doubt on me. He says you know my enemies, don’t know who will come in front. She says you think I m any enemy, just think, what you are thinking is right, what will you do. He says I don’t know, I know my Riddhima can’t do this, she is my life. He asks her to rest. He says get any book from the library, no need to go there. She nods.

Riddhima sees Vansh’s wound. She asks him to take painkillers. He says if wound is healed, then the person who gives the pain isn’t remembered, I don’t want that, how is our baby. She says baby…. baby is fine, I will do the dressing.

Its night, Riddhima goes. She comes to some place and sees a guy playing the trumpet. She says Chang. He turns to her and smiles. He greets her and asks looking for someone, Chang is right there. He shows Chang’s dead body. He says I think he is dead. He asks her to try the french cheese, its good. He says I think you lose your appetite seeing Chang’s dead body, I have a big appetite, see, good wine, good food, good girls, are you a good girl. She asks who are you. He introduces himself. He says my name is Vyom, it means zero, end circle of life, wherever you start, you come to the same point, you don’t have to worry, you had to get diamonds from Vansh, where are the diamonds. Vansh wakes up. He calls out Riddhima. Riddhima says I will get the diamonds and deliver soon. Vyom says make it fast. Vansh calls her. He gets her phone under the pillow. He asks how do you know that Vansh doesn’t doubt you. She says I m confident, he won’t get any evidence against me. Vansh checks the cupboard. He gets the bag. He sees the red dress.

Precap:
Riddhima sees the red dress and the teddy. Vansh sees her. She asks are you looking for me. He asks why are you hiding behind the curtain. She says so that you remove this curtain and find me. She tries to woo him and gets close. She asks why did you keep this dress for me.

    Well, Vansh returned back to his house, but wth are Aryan, Chanchal and Ishani still doing there? Aryan and Chanchal teamed up with Kabir against him and almost tried to get Sia and Dadi killed. Ishani tried to harm Riddhima’s baby ample amount of times. Yet these people are still staying at VR mansion…doesn’t make sense. And just look at Ishani’s audacity when she calls Vansh and Riddhima as heartless and selfish when she is the most heartless of the lot.
    .
    So Chang died and now Vansh has a new enemy – Vyom. I dont know who’s the actor playing this role, but it reminds me of Vyom from Ek Deewana Tha. Dont know if any of you guys saw that show.

    I have a feeling that it is Vyom who has kidnapped not only the real Riddhima but also Kabir as well. Many people are telling that this lookalike might be Riddhima’s long lost twin sister who is back to exact her revenge from Vansh for getting her parents killed. Tbh, I’m not very fond of these lookalike tracks, especially how the 1st season had a lookalike for literally every other person. But lets see what the makers have in store for us.

      It is highly unlikely that it is her long lost twin sister. No I think that Vyom wants power and money for some reason. As for Pigeon I don’t know about him. I can’t be sure about anything except the fact that this is not the real Riddu. She doesn’t act like that. It looked as though she didn’t know that she was going to have a baby. Her story is also suspicious. Ishani hasn’t changed at all. She is calling them selfish when she is the selfish one. I can say for sure that Anu Priya has changed. But I think that Vyom has both Riddu and Pigeon. By the way who is this Vyom? Can’t wait for further episodes.

      @Gabriela I think so that is how things will be most probably turning into. Because we already know how obsessed Kabir is with Riddhima….he might be even ready to make a couple with her doppelganger. Plus its high time the makers brought in atleast some girl for Kabir since he is also one of the leads. But I’d have preferred that they got some other girl for him, but I guess its fine.

      But today after long i enjoyed the episode…

    The first episode of new chapter of immj2 was thrilling every second was full thriller and mystery and was also angry by seeing doppelganger riddhima being nosy nosy with vansh that was only Riddhima’s right
    I think so vansh knows that she is not real riddhima?

      She’s the same Riddhima appearing in today’s episode.
      According to episode 218, Riddhima will be caught by Vansh while stealing an antic gun of Raisinghania family.
      Dadi will call Vansh and tell him to do something to Riddhima if she’s the thief.
      So Aryan and Vansh will tie-up Riddhima on the chair like the pic.
      It’s the same Riddhima.

    I think my head is aching…. whole episode was like bhoom… I mean I can’t see a any feature of previous immj2 in this new immj2…. all the characters show different types of emotions… I mean even dadi’s expressions are different…. Riddima and Vansh say something but they mean something else… I think it will take time to me to adapt to the new one…. but however I like Vyom… he is a cool guy like Vihaan… I think he will fill the show with different types of emotions….

    Today’s episode is on fire🔥🔥🔥🔥 congratulations our thriller show is back with it’s thrilling part this is what we fans actually want Dadi is upto something I’m enjoying Dadi’s mysterious shade wow Riddhima’s grey shade is on fire🔥🔥🔥🔥 finally our wish came true by changing innocence Riddhima to grey shade Riddhima and Vansh uff he was totally rocking after a long gap he is back again in old VR Vansh calling Riddhima as Sweetheart and Jaan and his famous dialogue also after a long gap we heard it Interesting Very Interesting I can say only one thing that is Riddhima who is in VR Mansion is our real Riddhima only no duplicate Riddhima is present at present moment I want to enjoy the thrilling part which was missing
    in before episodes I just want to go with flow I don’t want to make any theories this is the element which we crazy fans want it

    From my experience of watching IMMJ 1 (I’ve no idea how I watched it and didn’t loose my mind) and IMMJ 2 till now, the only thing I understand that there is no point in trying to understand what’s going on, I just have to wait and see it in the show. Cause if I storm my brain then I’ll be like soch soch k Marjawan and I don’t want that to happen, I want to see what happens next.

      @Enough, yeah, I heard that IMM1 was crazy with its twists and turns – I don’t know how viewers could keep calm lol. At least during its t.v. broadcast, IMM2 was pretty tame and predictable….now I don’t know. I’m excited but I can’t stop thinking about what’s going to happen next. I’m going to try to just enjoy the ride.

    Okay, so I saw the episode a few hours ago and like mostly everyone else, I’m confused beyond words (but I still have many theories lol) and am excited. It’s probably good that this version of the show shifted to an OTT platform – this would be too much sensory overload for our dear Indian aunties/nanis/dadis to handle lol.
    =Just a disclaimer, this is going to be a long post because there are a lot of things to unpack here.
    -The new version seems very promising – the lighting/characters/set/music/and other elements related to the show’s mise en scene (staging) seem much darker and grittier. Suffice to say, the series has lost its whole wholesome vibe, which I will miss, but perhaps is necessary if the makers want to tell a darker story.
    -I loved the start of the episode with a glimpse of what happened in the past (Vansh in the forest) and in the future (the Vyom-“Riddhima” meeting). Just the framing of the scene alone drew me in.
    -Now to the scene with all the Rai Singhania women in the living room:
    ===I really am fed up with Ishani – why does she think: RIansh started the fire and became so selfish? I honestly don’t care if she ever turns positive. She doesn’t deserve Vansh.
    ===I’m certain Anupriya is still a villain because when Ishani was badmouthing RIansh, it’s not like she chimed in and said it was her son, Kabir’s, fault? Also, why was she not sent back to jail, at least by Dadi? At least it’s nice that she’s no longer in that silly Dai Ma get-up…I prefer an elegant Anurpiya.
    ==Lastly, Dadi. Everyone is wondering what’s going through her mind. I was surprised that she didn’t react when Vansh came back home injured….I can understand the others being unphased by his return because they don’t love Vansh, but it was strange to see Dadi react in that manner. Honestly, I believe Dadi has returned back to Mafia wife mode haha. I think she probably was innocent like Riddhima when she first married Vansh’s grandfather….she learned from him how to be protective of the family and be fierce. Probably since Vansh was such a mastermind and equally committed to the family, she didn’t have to worry about the family’s safety or prestige as much. However, since the family probably brainwashed her and told her that Vansh was going to leave VR mansion (with RIddhima), she’s probably returned to her mafia grandmother mode. I just hope the makers leave Siya and Angre as protagonists!
    -Now there are several questions that I have:
    =Is this girl RIddhima?
    ==I strongly believe that she’s RIddhima’s doppelganger. I know when she first saw Vansh, she was concerned in the same manner RIddhima would be, but still there are many red flags (e,g, there were no marks on her ankle, she didn’t know about the baby, if the real Riddhima was forced to turn against Vansh she wouldn’t hide anything from him, etc.)
    ==Also, some people are saying that RIddhima is working with Chang/Vyom to avenge her parents’ death – I doubt that, since RIddhima understood everything Vansh was put through in the juvenile center.
    =She could be Riddhima’s twin and besides stealing the diamonds, she could want to avenge her parents’ death…who knows. It would be really interesting if the makers connected her back to the Christmas episode when Riddhima saved Vansh from being shot. Remember how there was supposedly someone else who shot Vansh, instead of Anupriya. The makers never reconciled that loophole, so maybe that could have been her? I know my mind is wandering.
    =I’m curious to know what the Riddhima look-alike’s name is, since typicalyl a character’s name in IMM2 gives some insight into their personality (e.g. Vansh (dynasty) and Riddhima (full of love)). Vyom even pointed out the significance of his name in the episode.
    -My guess is that the real Riddhima was taken in the jungle (by Chang/Vyom’s people)…she was then sold to Aryan (he knew about the red dress girl in the woods), so that could clear the way for the Riddhima lookalike to enter VR mansion to get the diamonds. I’m fairly certain RIddhima and the baby are still alive and probably with Aryan’s henchmen…if she was sold to Ishani/Anupriya, they would have just killed her…but Aryan is probably the only one who would keep her alive for leverage/blackmailing Vansh later on.
    -As for Kabir – I really felt bad seeing him chained up like that. He should be in a mental asylum or prison, but not chained up like a slave. I really think this is Anupriya doing….she wants to knock some sense into her son and punish him for crossing her.
    -I know some people are saying Vishal is leaving the series….I don’t know about that, but I really hope they develop Kabir’s role….maybe they can turn him into a protagonist and he can help Vansh find RIddhima. Maybe he can also be paired with RIddhima 2.0, as she is actually capable of handling Kabir’s craziness and thereby appeasing RIdhibir fans as well lol.
    =Another question is why did Vyom tell Vansh about RIddhima being sold? I think Vyom wants to confuse Vansh and sow seeds of doubt in his mind. Also, once he gets whatever he wants from Riddhima 2.0, he probably thinks Vansh will directly kill her, so he doesn’t have to give her anything in return.
    =I’m happy to see Vansh back in old VR mode and that he suspects this girl – he looks so good like that and I just hope he makes smart decisions going forward and his character really matches up to the new RIddhima and Vyom’s characters. I want to see Vansh’s boldness/dark side/and the lengths that he will go to find the “real RIddhima.”
    = As for Vyom, I don’t know what to think of him yet. His character seems to have great potential, but he’s trying way too hard to be some international man of mystery with his saxophone, Chinese tattoo, french cheeses, and Italian vocabulary lol. In any case, going forward, I hope he is a pure antagonist and doesn’t turn good upon meeting the real RIddhima or falling for this girl. And again, I really hope Vansh levels up to him!
    -Before closing, I just wanted to give some shout-outs and my expectations/hopes for the coming episodes:
    =Shout-out to the entire crew – I know the actors got a small vacation in between production, but I think this is a great feat achieved by the writers and crew that even while finishing up production of the TV version, they were able to develop this new series and deliver us a very promising storyline/episode.
    -Shout-out to our shirtless Vansh and Vyom – your contributions were appreciated by myself and probably other female viewers (and some males ones too) lol!
    =Going forward, I hope this girl turns out to be a Riddhima look-alike. That way the makers can deliver a creative storyline, while also appeasing fans:
    ==You can get a bold RIddhima in the new girl
    ==You can have an innocent RIddhima if she is hidden or kidnapped somewhere.
    ==If Riddhima is kidnapped and Vansh suspects the new girl. he won’t fall in love with her (thereby not disrupting the RIansh storyline) and he will go back into full mastermind mode (because he won’t be softened by RIddhima’s presence).
    ==Lastly, maybe Kabir will get a second chance at love with this new girl lol, so Ridhibir and RIansh fans both will be happy!
    =My only wish is that Vansh does not fall in love with RIddhima 2.0 and Vyom does not find the original RIddhima and start liking her (she is a “good girl” like he likes and she has turned other dangerous men like Kabir and Vansh into obsessive lovers with her innocence and charm haha).
    =Okay, I will stop here. If anyone is still reading this, thanks, I know I wrote way tooo much today, but my mind is spinning from all these developments.

I liked that you also expressed your opinion about the staging, about the bolder story and about the general atmosphere of the show. You covered everything. This time I have some opinions different from yours, but I will not express them here. I’m most glad Vansh is finally back. But I’m sad about what happens to Kabir, I know he’s a negative character, but my heart breaks. I would like Kabir to become positive and Vyom to be a negative character. Maybe the suffering Kabir is going through now will change him completely. I would love that. Congratulations once again IMM2 Viewer, very nice!

I promised myself that I would be more concise with the OTT reviews (especially to improve my own writing technique), but since it was the premiere episode, I let it slide lol. It’s great to have differing opinions concerning the progression of the series – I like that everyone isn’t in agreement about whether this girl is RIddhima or not. The thrill element is certainly back in the series. As for Kabir, I agree, I hated seeing him like that, but he will be back with a bang. In any case, I’m excited.

    Amazing episode loved the thrill element and everything. I am very confused as to whether or not she is Riddhima, one side is showing she is by being a great wife to Vansh and trying to catch her enemies and the second is maybe she is not. If you all notice, she is wearing the first mangalsutra from her wedding. I am not sure what is happening but still I am in love with it. The new start on ott is bang on 🔥

      Khushi, we are all in a confused mood and detective mood again. But it’s amazing. It turned out that the transition to Voot was perfect. Now we have a much bolder and more suspenseful show. At first I said there was only one Ridhima, then I changed my mind, and then I changed my mind again 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Anyway, like you, I really like how Voot started. I watched the episode three times so as not to lose sight of anything. 🕵🏻‍♂️🕵🏻‍♂️🤨🤨

      Hi @Khushi – Agreed, the OTT version is off to a great start and hopefully we will get answers to some of our quesitons by the end of the week. As for “Riddhima” wearing her old mangulsutra – I don’t know if that makes her the old or fake RIddhima, since Kabir took it off the orignal RIddhima’s wrist and threw it in the jungle. Maybe RIddhima 2.0 found it and kept it or the old one went back to get it (which is unlikely). Let’s see lol!

      It doesn’t accept anything but bank cards used in India. Plus if you are outside of India then I don’t think that it’s possible that Voot will work.

    In a video on YouTube I saw that Aryan had kept Riddu tied to a chair. I don’t know how to send link. I’ll just tell what was there. Aryan was holding a gun to Riddus head and Riddu was sitting on a chair with her hands tied. I don’t know whether this is true or not but it can be true. The girl taking the gun is not real Riddu if this is true.

      1) She is the real Riddhima who has been kidnapped by Aryan.

      2)She is the Riddhima who is staying with Vansh now. Aryan might have kidnapped on Vansh’s order to test if she is the real Riddhima or not
