Fortunately, no one suffered severe injuries, and both Snehal and her driver were safely rescued from the car. However, when Snehal approached the truck’s owner for compensation, she was met with threats and denial of any responsibility. The truck owner quickly fled the scene. Understanding the gravity of the situation, Snehal immediately contacted the nearest police station, and the police promptly arrived at the location.
In an interview with ETimes TV, Snehal shared her experience, expressing her disbelief at the sudden turn of events. She acknowledged her driver’s quick thinking, which played a crucial role in saving their lives. She commended the responsiveness of the Borghat Police Station, especially Mr. Yogesh Bhosale, for their assistance and support during the distressing situation. Snehal mentioned that she was initially in a state of panic, but the police provided necessary aid, including glucose and other essentials.
Reflecting on the incident, Snehal expressed gratitude for the timely arrival of the police, debunking the misconception that they are not prompt in such situations. She acknowledged the police’s commitment to being present at the scene and providing essential assistance.
Unfortunately, Snehal was unable to file an FIR as the truck driver had fled, leaving her with no information about the vehicle. Overwhelmed by the traumatic incident, Snehal decided to seek medical attention at a hospital to recover from the shock.
