Sonakshi : Wow! I never thought it would be this dramatic.
Shravan : The pleasure is all mine Ms. Bose.
(Dev was standing just there. He was hearing everything. He was seeing the scene in front of him and don’t know why he felt something different. He doesn’t like Shravan’s interaction with Sonakshi. It was like she was his. I mean she was his fiancée. Fake though)

AT PRESENT:

Shravan : Dev, now I’ve to go. We’ll meet soon. And don’t worry, my lips are fully zipped. I won’t tell anyone.
Dev : Thanks Shravu*smirks*
Shravan : Hey! Don’t call me that. I don’t like it.
Dev : Okay, Shravu.*teases*
Shravan : *smiling* Okay Devu, Bye.
Dev : Shravan! You are not allowed to call me that.
Shravan : It makes both of us.
Dev : Okay, now go.
Shravan : Bye Dev, *faces Sonakshi* Bye Ms. Bose, It was nice meeting you.
Sonakshi : Same here. Mr Shravu Malhotra. *burst into laughter*
Shravan : Hey! No Ms………………..Forget it, you can call me that.
Sonakshi : Why this exception?

Shravan : I can’t make a pretty girl sad, Ms. Bose. I am not that type of guy.
Sonakshi : Awwww! Don’t act over smart Mr. Shravan Malhotra. I know your type of “guys” very well.
Shravan : Is it so?
Sonakshi : Yup!
Dev : *breaking their convo.* Don’t you want to go Shravan?
Shravan : Oh yes, I’m super late. Bye Bye guys.*lefts the cabin*
Dev : *with some unknown reason, anger and frustration were building up inside him* You can also leave Ms. Bose.
Sonakshi : *confused by sudden the change in his behave* ummmm…ok………..
Dev : *shout* LEAVE!
Sonakshi : *threatened by his voice* (turns back and hurriedly leaves his cabin)
Dev : *watches her go and punches the wall of his cabin*
(It was 9:40 pm and Sonakshi was standing at the entrance of Divine Company and was waiting for a taxi)
Sonakshi : “Where is the taxi? Why not even a single taxi is here? Let me message Sumo to take me home. *opens whatsapp and message Sumo*

[- Sumo, are you free? If yes, then please come here at Mr. Dixit’s office. I need a ride home.]
Suman replied:
[- I’m so sorry Sona, I am not able to come there. Right now I’m at my friend’s home and there’s not even slightest scope for me too, to reach home in time because today there’s a taxi strike and I’m stuck here. You can tell Mr Dev to drop you home. I’m sure he won’t deny.]
Sonakshi:
[- Okay Sumo, thanks]
(Dev was constantly recalling ShrAkshi’s convo. He doesn’t know why he was angry and why he told Sonakshi to leave)
Dev : “Ms. Bose,…Oh God Dev, you told her to leave. Where she had gone?”
(Sonakshi was now walking on the main road, trying to find a lift.)
Sonakshi : “Mr. Dixit is not in a great mood today. It’ll be the best if I don’t bother him now”
Dev came to the entrance, searching for Sonakshi, but couldn’t find her. He asked the doorkeeper and he replied that Sonakshi just left a few minutes ago.
Dev : Had anyone came to pick her, or she went through taxi?
Doorkeeper: No sir, no one came and there’s no chance of taking a taxi because today is the taxi strike. Not even a single taxi is there. I saw her crossing the main road. She must not have gone far…
Dev : It’s ok thanks*left to get his car*”Where did she go? She is so stupid. Can’t she ask me for a ride?*sees Sonakshi walking down the street*(takes the car to her side, then slide down the mirror) Ms. Bose, Where are you going?
Sonakshi : Mr. Dixit?……………ummmmm…..I’m going home.
Dev : walking?
Sonakshi : No…………yes………

Dev : Get in.
Sonakshi : yes Mr. Dixit?
Dev : I said get in. I’m driving you home.
Sonakshi : You don’t have to do that.
Dev : Ms. Bose I’m not asking you. I’m telling you, now hurry up.
Sonakshi : okay *enters in the car*
(There was an uncomfortable silence between them through half of the journey. After some time, Dev suddenly said….)
Dev : I think Shravan had made a great effect on you.
Sonakshi :*smiling* He is nice. More like funny than nice.
Dev : I was not knowing that you like funny boys. Must be an upgrade…
Sonakshi : Mr. Dixit, what are you saying? What happened?

Dev : *firmly holding the steering* Noting. Just don’t act like this with him on a day of the merger. People will misunderstand you being his fiancée, not mine.
Sonakshi : Mr. Dixit, are you out of your mind. Do you even know what are you saying? And I don’t care what the people say. Barking dogs seldom bite.
Dev: *Ignores her* your home’s here.
Sonakshi: Thanks for the ride. Goodbye
Dev : Bye.
(Sonakshi went to her room and she was going to freshen up when her cell phone beeped)

(After these message convo. Sonakshi went to her bed recalling all the memories of that day)

(Dev was at home and was restless. Literally “rest-less”. He can’t work, can’t eat, or can’t do anything. He was feeling guilty that he shouted on Sonakshi and about his rude behaviour towards her. He can’t even think what could have happened to her if she would have left.)
*Thinking about all this, he also dozes off*

{Precap : He was angry.
No, angry didn’t even begin to describe what he was feeling, it was undeniable rage.
Clenched fists, Dev sat there glaring at the two figures at a short distance away. One being Sonakshi-his (fake)fiancée-and other Shravan-his best friend.
Sonakshi laughed and talked to Shravan while Dev gradually increased his grip on the wine glass, sporting a polite smile. Shravan sometimes glanced at him, but made no other sign of acknowledgement. Suddenly one girl came and sat beside him.
“Hey, I’m Ayesha.” Said the girl.
“Dev” answered Dev.
(Ayesha noticed him staring Sonakshi)
“Who is she?” Ayesha asked out of curiosity.
“She’s no one.” Dev replied harshly.
“Oh!” she said back, but kept on staring him.
“What?” Dev spat out, feeling exasperated.
“Are you okay?” she asked with an annoyed expression.
“Yeah, why wouldn’t I be? I’m fine,” he said.
“Wait…are you jealous?” Ayesha asked with an amused glint in her eyes.
“No” Dev snapped.}
