Ishu’s POV

I was waiting for Om as we had to go out for my punishment for suspecting him, “oh God, what was the need to be so possessive, ab bhugat” I cursed myself, I was disturbed by a car’s horn and I saw om waiting for me. I walked upto him and got into the car, “so ready for ur punishment” he smirked at me and started driving. Throughout the journey I asked him a thousand questions but he didn’t pay attention to any. I was irritated by his ignorance but gulped down my anger bcoz it was my mistake afterall. I couldn’t even guess the location from the route as I had never been to this part of the city before. The road had no clear sign boards or direction arrows, so my last hope also died. “uff, this Zulfi Singh Oberoi” I thought to myself.

At last we reached our destination, it was a farm house, the view there was splendid. There were gulmohar tress everywhere and the passage was covered with a red carpet of gulmohar petals, soft breeze was flowing with the scent of roses mixed with it, there was a lake visible at a distance, the entire scene was so beautiful that I wanted to capture everything in my eyes.

“lets go” om brought me back to reality. He was walking forward and I followed him enjoying the beauty around me. We entered the house but it was dark inside and things weren’t clearly visible inside. “so ready for ur punishment” he whispered in my ears and seeing the darkness a chill ran through my body. “wait here, I’ll come in a minute” he said and went in and disappeared in the darkness. “what is cooking in his head?” I stood there helpless. Suddenly the lights were switched on and the entire farm house was lit up. I was stunned by the view, the entire house was filled with my photos and paintings, surrounded by white lilies whose fragrance refreshed my mind.

“Kya acha kya bura kya bhala dekha
Jab bhi dekha tujhe apne rub a ru dekha
Socha bahut bhulkar sochu na tujhe
Jis raat aankh lagi fir tujhe har su dekha….”

Was written around my painting at the art gallery when we had first met. I was busy admiring the paintings and shayaris when a melodious voice reached my ears and I turned to see Om standing with a guitar. I was surprised to see his new talent I had encountered today.

Sun mere humsafar
Kya tujhe itni si bhi khabar

Sun mere humsafar
Kya tujhe itni si bhi khabar
Ki teri saanse chalti jidhar
Rahunga bas wahi umrr bhar
Rahunga bas wahi umrr bhar haaye

(he walked to me, slowly, he slid his hand around my waist and pulled me closer, i was lost in his eyes)

Jitni haseen ye mulakatein hai
Unse bhi pyari teri baatein hai
Baaton mein teri jo kho jaate hai

Aaun na hosh mein main kabhi
Baahon mein hai teri zindagi haaye

Sun mere humsafar
Kya tujhe itni si bhi khabar

(we were dancing slowly with the soft music)

Main toh yoon khada kis
Soch mein pada tha
Kaise jee raha tha main deewana

Chupke se aake tune
Dil mein sama ke tune
Chhed diya kaisa ye fasana

Oh muskurana bhi tujhi se sikha hai
Dil lagane ka tu hi tareeka hai
Aitbaar bhi tujhi se hota hai
Aaun na hosh mein main kabhi
Bahon mein hai teri zindagi haaye

(He knelt down and then kissed my hand softly)

Hai nahi tha pata
Ke tujhe maan lunga khuda
Ki teri galliyon mein iss kadar
Aaunga har paher

Sun mere humsafar
Kya tujhe itni si bhi khabar
Ki teri saanse chalti jidhar
Rahunga bas wahi umrr bhar
Rahunga bas wahi umrr bhar haaye

He knelt down in front of me and then said the most magical thing I had ever heard,

“I make beautiful paintings and add colours to them but you Ishana have added colors to my dull and boring life. No one b4 u has affected me so much, before u came I was there in this world but after meeting u I started living a life. You changed my perspective of love.

When I used to see mom caring for dad even after his betrayal, but now I know how much strength love gives you to bear all pains in life. Thank u so much Ishana

So Ms. Ishana Vikram Rana would you love to become Mrs. Ishana Omkara Oberoi?” he took out a ring and slid it on to my finger. I was so overwhelmed with happiness that I only managed to nod a yes with tears in my eyes.

“I don’t want any more tears in ur eyes, from today on u’ll only smile and smile” he said wiping my tears. I hugged him tightly, “so how do u like ur punishment of lifetime imprisonment with me” he whispered in my ears, “I loved it” I said hugging him tightly. We were lost in each other’s embrace.

i hope u all love it, please do comment and tell.

Writing is like dreaming with words. We all have many stories hidden inside us, all we need is someone to listen, and someone to read through them.
