Ishkara- a new way of life – epi 1

The previous episode was a memory of Ishana. However todays epi is abt the present. I want u all to understand the current situation so that u will get with the story. I’ll include memories of the past as the story progresses, so I hope u all like it and support my story. Don’t worry u’ll get plenty of Ishkara scenes.
Here it goes,

A press conference cum art exhibition is going on with a lot of ppl gathered to celebrate 10 years of success of OMKARA SINGH OBEROI. Om is sitting in the centre with shivru on either side of him. the other family members are sitting in the front row.

Journalist1: sir, behind every successful man there is a woman, so who is ur lady luck?

Om was lost for a second but regained his spirits and answered.
Om: u r right, a woman is an integral part of a man’s success. My lady luck is none other than my mom(he looks at jhanvi and smiles). She always supported me and my passion. Thank u so much mom.

J2: sir, u r still single, when r u thinking of getting married?

Om was speechless but shivru handled the situation.

Shivaay: we have to leave. No more questions.
J2: but sir..
Rudra(angry): no more questions

They all abt to leave when a voice stops them, they all look at the person and are shocked.

Voice: I’ll answer the question for u Omkara singh oberoi.
J2: u r Ishana rana, how do u know?
J3: ma’am please tell us what u know?
Shivaay: how dare u come here? I had warned u to stay away from my family(he moves towards her but anika stopd him)
Anika: leave it shivaay. We shud not waste time talking to her
Pinky: yes shivaay. Lets go
Ishana: for how long will u all run away from ur mistakes, let the world know the great deeds of the oberois.

Om was standing there silent, he had not uttered a word.

Rudra: stop or else.

Ishana: or else what, I am not afraid of ur threatenings Rudra singh oberoi. (turns to the reporters) u see this man standing here with pride(points at Om) he is the world’s greatest liar, he is the man who talks of truth always but never used it in his life (actually Ishana is drunk, so she loses her balance but Om holds her)
(pushing om away)I don’t need ur support anymore, stop this drama of being the good guy u never will be. (loudly to the reporters) this man hated his dad for betraying his mom but u know what he also did the same and betrayed the girl who loved him more than his life, she loved him a lot but he just used her for his greed..(she cud not complete and faints, her gaurds take her)
The oberois also leave.

OM,
Om was in his room, tears filled his eyes but he was not letting them flow. Over the years life had taught him to bear his pain silently. He had learnt that for him life was always going to be hard.

Om’s thoughts: I am so sorry ishu, I know I am responsible for all this. I destroyed everything. I betrayed u and my family. I am responsible for ur current health condition, but I still love and I promise u one day everything will be fine. U will get all the happiness u deserve.

The next episode onwards will be a flashback of all the events that lead to this day. The flashback will be in Om’s and Ishu’s POV. Please comment and tell me how u all like it. Please share ur frank opinions.
