CHAPTER 84(B)

CITY HOSPITAL

Ishana is shocked to see the machine showing straight line… The doctor looks at the machine and shakes his head…

Ishu: (screams) No!!! This cannot happen!! (Cries hysterically) He can’t do this to me!! I can’t live without him… (NiTiMi try to console her but she pushes them…) No… I won’t let anything happen to him… He promised me that he won’t leave me… (She barges into ICU making the doctors and nurses shock…)

Doc: Madam, please wait outside… We are treating him…(She ignores him goes to Omkara…)

Ishu: (holds his face)  How can you do this to me?? You promised me that you won’t leave me… You promised that we will lead a happy life… You promised that you won’t let me to become a widow… What happen to those promises?? (Sobs)  Now you are making me to become a widow again… (Sobs) You can’t leave me!!! Come back to me… (Sobs) I can bear Dev’s death… But, I won’t be alive if you leave me too… I can’t think a life without you… (screams) I LOVE YOU, OMKARA!!! I LOVE YOU!!! I love you very much… (Her scream is too loud till it caught everyone’s attention… Other  staffs and visitors too come to the ICU and watch the scene… Ishana looks at Omkara but he doesn’t react… The Oberois and Raichands cry looking at them… The doctor signs at the nurse…)

Nurse: (goes towards Ishana) I’m sorry, madam… Please wait outside…

Ishu: No!! I won’t go!! (holds Omkara’s hand tightly… The nurse pulls her hand from him till Ishana’s grip become loose… Ishana almost leaves his hand but she felt a tight grip on her hand… She turns and sees Omkara holding her hand tightly with his eyes are still closed… The doctor and the nurse look each other in confused… The doctor looks at the machine which is showing normal lines…)

Doc: (smiles at Ishana) He is out of danger… (Ishana smiles in tears) Please wait outside… I need to do further check up on him… (Ishana nods and goes out from ICU… Both families are relief to to know Omkara is safe… Other people leave from there… ShivRuPri hug Ishana after she comes out… TejVi too hug her…)

Rudra: I told you right, bhabhi… Your love will save him… See, he is safe now… (Ishana nods at him… The doctor comes after a while)

Doc: He is out of danger but he has to be monitored for another few days…

Tej: Can we see him now??

Doc: You cannot see him now… We will shift him to normal ward in few hours… You can see him that time… (A nurse comes and whispers something to the doctor… She leaves after a while)

Doc: (Towards the family) That girl is conscious now… You all can visit her… (All agree and walk towards the ward where Madhu is admitted)

They see Madhu is lying on the bed and her face is looking very pale… Madhu smiles weakly looking at them… Ranveer goes towards her and holds her hand…

Ranveer: (kisses her forehead) You scare us… I thought that I had lose you… (His eyes are welled with tears)

Madhu: (weakly) This life given by you and Ishu… It won’t go so soon… (Ishana cries and holds her hand) I’m fine, Ishu… Don’t cry… (Wipes her tears… Ishana kisses her cheek)

Shivaay: (goes to her and holds her face) I’m the one supposed to get stabbed but you came in between… I’m sorry, Madhu…

Madhu: What you will do, bhaiya?? No one expected like this… But, who is that person?? How dare he?? (Holds her stomach and winces in pain…)

Arjun: (goes to her and side hugs her) Madhu, we will talk about this later… Don’t strain yourself… Your wounds are still fresh… (Madhu nods and thinks something)

Madhu: Where is Om bhaiya?? (All look each other in shock)

Prinku: He went to get something for us to eat… He will be here in a while… You take rest first…

Madhu: (looking at everyone) Is everything fine?? Why I’m feeling like you all are hiding something??

Raghav: Madhu, please don’t talk like Ranveer…

Dush: Of course she will talk like him only… After all she is his sister…

Sid: Hey, stop teasing her both of you… (Hugs Madhu’s arm and kisses her forehead) Everything is fine only, Madhu… We are worried that this happened to you… (Madhu smiles weakly at him)

Savi: Luckily, nothing bad happened… Thanks to maata raani… (Madhu smiles at her… SweNiTiMi go towards her and kiss her cheeks…)

Karan: Madhu, you take rest first… We will see you in a while… (Madhu nods her head… RanRaDuKa kiss her forehead and leave from the room with everyone except Karthik… Madhu is surprised to see Karthik who is looking at her with tear filled eyes…)

Madhu: Karthik!!?? (Karthik goes and hugs her making her shock) What happened, Karthik??

Karthik: (cries) I’m sorry, Madhu… I didn’t see that guy having a knife… I was playfully pushing you… I didn’t expect this to happen…

Madhu: (breaks the hug) What are you saying?? Whatever happened has nothing to do with you…

Karthik: (still crying) No, Madhu… This would not have happened if I didn’t push you… It’s because of me… (Madhu feels bad seeing him crying like this)

Madhu: Karthik, stop crying… What you will do if that man stab me?? Listen to me… Whatever happened not because of you… (Karthik doesn’t listen to her and continue crying…) I said stop crying, Karthik!! (A bit louder making him shock… He stops crying and looks at her) That’s good… My head is paining listening to your cry… (Karthik just looks at her without blinking his eyes… Madhu holds his hand…) Please don’t blame yourself, Karthik… I can’t see you like this… (Karthik smiles and hugs her… She winces in pain… Karthik breaks the hug and looks at her apologetically… Madhu smiles) It’s ok… I’m fine…

Karthik: Madhu, you take rest first… I’ll come in a while… (He makes her to lie and covers her with blanket… He cups her face and kisses her forehead deeply stunning her… He looks at her who is still lost in the kiss and chuckles) See you… (Leaves from the room)

Madhu: (confused) What is wrong with him?? He never behaved like this with me… (Smiles) But, I like this closeness with him… (Closed her eyes and sleeps)

Omkara has been shifted to normal ward but he is still unconscious… The Oberois go and see him first followed by the Raichands… They feel bad looking at his state… Ishana cries looking at him… ShivRu hug her… They leave from the room after a while…

Nurse: Only one person can stay with the patient…

Jhanvi: I will stay with him…

Shivaay: Bade ma, you go back and have some rest… (Looks at Ishana) Ishu will stay with him… (Ishana hugs him)

Ishu: Thanks, bhaiya… (Shivaay caresses her back and nods his head looking at Jhanvi… Jhanvi too nods her head understanding him…)

Rudra: Who will stay with Madhu??

Karthik: I will stay with her… (All look at him in surprise while the youngsters chuckle looking at him) She is in this state because of me… That’s why…..

Sid: We understood, Karthik… You can stay with her…

Ranveer: Don’t tease her like you used to do… Ok??

Karthik: How I will tease her in this situation, yaar?? (Ranveer pats his cheek)

Arjun: Karthik, take care of my both sisters… Call me if anything means… (Karthik nods… The Oberois and Raichands hug Ishana and leave from hospital…)

ShivRu wanted to stay with Omkara but they control themselves because they know Ishana needs to be with him than them… They could understand how much she has suffered since he got shot… After all, she almost faced the same tragedy she faced two years ago… That is the reason they let Ishana to stay with their beloved brother…

Ishana goes to Omkara’s ward and sees him still unconscious… She sits beside him and holds his hand… She recalls the night when the chandelier fell on her, he is the one took care of her… She smiles thinking about those moments… She kisses his hand and places it on her face…

Ishu: I love you, Omkara… I love you very much… (Chuckles) I said that I will scream my love in front of this world… I did as I said but you didn’t hear me… Never mind, I will say it once again after you wake up… (Kisses his cheek and places her head on his pillow looking at him…)

Karthik come to see if Ishana is fine… He sees her lying beside Omkara and goes towards her… He places his hand on her head…

Ishu: (still looking at Omkara) I’m fine, Karthik… You go and stay with Madhu…

Karthik: (smiles) Ok, Ishu maa… Call me if you need anything… (Ishana nods her head… Karthik kisses her head and leaves from the room)

Next morning

Omkara’s Ward

Ishana doesn’t sleep the whole night and waiting for him to gain conscious but he is still unconscious… She is worried looking at him and her tears started to make their way out from her eyes and fall on his hand which she is holding… Omkara moves his hand feeling the wetness… Ishana sees it and runs to call the doctor… The doctor comes and checks Omkara while Ishana waiting outside… The doctor comes after a while…

Ishu: Doctor, how is he??

Doc: (smiles) He is fine now but he is still weak… Don’t make him to strain himself… He must be on bed rest for some days…

Ishu: Ok, doctor… Can I talk to him??

Doc: Sure, Mrs Oberoi… You can talk to him… (Ishana goes inside the ward and sees Omkara… He looks at her and smiles in relief)

Precap: Ishkara moments… Madhu learns about Omkara…
