CHAPTER 76
OBEROI MANSION
The Raichands who went to temple with Kalyani thought to send Kalyani first at Oberoi Mansion before leaving to their house… Ranveer was busy in his call and doesn’t aware that they are going to Oberoi Mansion… He ends his call and shocked to see their car at Oberoi Mansion… All are walking towards the house…
Ranveer: God!! How I didn’t realise this?? Om said that he will make Ishu to confess about her marriage with Dev… I don’t know what is happening inside there… (Holds his head and follows them from behind)
The Raichands are involved in their talk while entering the house… They are surprised to see IshKara arguing with each other… They are looking each other in confused… Ishana’s last statement shocked them to the core… Swetlana who is holding the pooja plate dropped it on the floor in shock… IshKara and the Oberois turn towards the sound and shocked to see them… Kalyani is holding Savitri who almost collapsed…
The Oberois hold their heads in shock because they never expect them to come here… Ranveer who just entered the house is shocked as well… Ishana doesn’t know what to do at that time… ArSid walk towards her…
Arjun: Ishu, is that true??
Ishu: (sadly) Bhaiya…
Sid: Please tell us that it’s not true… (His eyes are welled with tears… He holds her shoulders) You didn’t marry him right that day?? (Ishana looks down and cries)
The Oberois feel bad looking at her helpless state… Ranveer goes towards them…
Ranveer: No, Siddharth… She is married to him that day… He died after that only…
Arjun: (holds his collar in anger) You aware of this?? (Ranveer nods his head) Then, why you hide this from us?? Do you know how big this matter is?? Why you didn’t tell us?? (RaDuKa who are keeping quiet go towards them)
Raghav: You didn’t think to tell us also about this?? You stayed with us these years but not even once you told us about it…
Dush: You wanted to free her from guilt and you told about her causing Gauri’s death… But, you never tell about this…
Karan: Just for our happiness, right?? You both hide this pain inside your hearts… You didn’t feel to share this pain with anyone of us…
Ranveer: Happiness can be shared with loved ones… But, not our pain… And, if the pain can shatter the whole family, better to not to tell them… (Tears are coming from his eyes)
Sid: (cups Ishana’s face) My Ishu faced a tragedy but we don’t aware of it… We are not able to do anything… I’m feeling ashamed of myself for being a helpless brother… I failed as a brother…
Savi: (cries loudly) No!! I’m the one failed!! I failed your dadaji…. He always tell me that Ishu should not face any troubles in her life… After his death, I promised that I won’t let her to suffer in her life… But, these many years she faced only suffer, suffer, suffer!!! (SweNiTiMi try to calm her) I failed your dadaji today… How I will tell him that his Ishu is a widow who lost her husband on her wedding day?? (Falls on her knees and cries badly… SweNiTiMi hug her and they too cry badly… Ishana couldn’t stand anymore and runs towards them… She kneels beside them and hugs them…)
Ishu: (cries) This is why I hide it from you… I know you all will be broken like this… And, I can’t see my family to break down like this… That’s why I didn’t tell you all about my marriage with Dev… And, I took promise from Ranveer as well to not to disclose this matter to you…
Swet: It happened because of me!! If you didn’t fight with Ashok and Kamini for me, that Ashok would not done the accident… And your life will not be ruined like this… All because of me… (Cries)
Ishu: (hugs Swetlana) Don’t say like this, bhabhi… Whatever happened not because of you… It’s my fate, that I and Dev can’t be together… I aborted your baby, right?? That’s why the God snatched my husband from me…
Tia: Why are you still blaming yourself for that, Ishu baby?? You did that to save our bhabhi’s life…
Ishu: But, that is also a life right?? It is still wrong…
Mithra: How could you still able to speak like this in this situation?? (Ishana smiles sadly) We are worrying about you but you…
Savi: She is habituated to the pain, Mithra… That’s why she is talking like this… Only we know how our heart hurt knowing that she is a widow… (Ishana closed her eyes… Omkara who is silent all a while goes towards Savitri and kneels beside her)
Om: (holds her hand) Your Ishu is not a widow, daadima… (Ishana looks at him in confuse) She is my wife… (All except the Oberois are shocked) Have you forgotten the temple incident?? (ArSid and NiTiMi still confused while others recall back the day when Omkara accidentally filled sindoor on Ishana’s partition… Omkara smiles…) She is my wife since then… (Hugs Ishana’s shoulder) Please don’t say that Ishana is a widow… As long as I’m alive, she won’t be called as widow… (Ishana looking at him in overwhelming expression)
He looks at the pooja plate which fell down just now and sees a sindoor box… He opens the cover and takes a pinch of sindoor… He fills it on Ishana’s maang making everyone shock… Ishana just looks at him with tear filled eyes… They have a deep eyelock… Ishana breaks the eyelock and touches her maang… She looks at the sindoor on her fingers and recalls the time she erased it when Dev died… She cries thinking of that…
Om: (turns towards Savitri) See, daadima… Your Ishu is not a widow… I will marry her and make her as my wife, Mrs Ishana Omkara Singh Oberoi… (Savitri folds her hand but he holds them) You are elder than us… You should not fold your hands…
Savi: Maybe I’m elder than you but your heart is greater than mine…
Om: (looks at Ishana) Not more than your Ishu, daadima… She is far more greater than me… I’m very lucky to have her in my life… Trust me, daadima… I will keep her happy forever… I won’t let her to suffer in her life anymore…
Savi: I trust you, beta… (Looks at Ishana) But, will she agree to marry you?? (Omkara doesn’t has answer for it because he knows Ishana won’t agree to marry him)
Ishu: I will marry him, daadima… (All look at her in shock) If you all will be happy if I marry him, I’m ready to marry him… (All smile at her except Omkara… Savitri hugs her and kisses her forehead… The Raichands are happy too but still they feel hurt… Shivaay goes towards them…)
Shivaay: I know you all are very much hurt knowing about Ishu… We can’t change the past… Now, we have to focus on our present and future only… Ishu will get her happiness back… (They smile sadly) You all stay here today… Don’t have to go to Raichand Mansion… We can’t see you all broken like this… Please… (They nod sadly) Annika, take them to the guest rooms… (Annika agrees and take them from there)
The Oberois walk towards Ishana… JhaNky hug Ishana and kiss her forehead…
Pinky: Finally, this diamond girls is going to become bahu of this house… I’m very happy, Jethani ji…
Jhanvi: I’m also very happy… Both of you take your time and tell us when you are ready to get married… We are very lucky to have you as our bahu… All of our bahus are diamonds…
Rudra: You have to thank me, mom and choti maa… I’m the one called her Ishana bhabhi first and now she going to be my bhabhi in real… (Ishana smiles at him)
Soumya: Rudra, give some credits to me as well… I’m the one told you first that your heart will recognise your bhabhi and the word ‘bhabhi’ will automatically uttered by you… (Ishana smiles and looks at Omkara who already left to his room)
Kalyani: Why are you disturbing her?? Leave her for a while… Ishana putthar, I can understand what is running in your heart and mind… You have some rest first… All of you leave from here first…
Omkara’s Room
Omkara is standing at his window looking at outside… He heard his room door being opened and he smiles knowing who is that… He turns to her and smiles seeing the sindoor on her forehead…
Om: I’m sorry, Ishana… I didn’t expect them to be there that time… I just wanted you to confess it to me… (Turns to her) I wanted to tell them after our marriage but….
Ishu: Don’t blame yourself… Nothing in our hands… Maybe it has been written that they have to know like this… (Stops and thinks something) What did you say?? You just wanted me to confess it?? That means you know it earlier??
Om: (nods his head) I got to know it last night… I heard PriVeer and ShivIka’s conversation…
Ishu: That’s why you were upset this morning, right?? (Omkara nods) That means ShivIka and Priyanka too already aware of this before?? (Omkara again nods his head) But, how?? As I know, Ranveer would not have told them??
Om: You are right… Ranveer didn’t break the promise he have given to you…
Ishu: Then, how they got to know it?? (Omkara tells her everything… Ishana looks at him shockingly)
Om: We wanted to free you from this pain… For that, you have to confess about it… I know you won’t say it easily… That’s why I spoke to you like that…
Ishu: You spoke low about yourself just to hear the truth from me??
Om: I don’t have other option, Ishana… I know you can’t hear a single word against me and it will be hurtful to you as well… But, that is the only way I have to make you to tell the truth…
Ishu: (holds his face) You did all that to remove my pain which I was hiding in my heart?? Why??
Om: Because I love you, Ishana… And I can’t see you suffering in too many pains… I want to remove all your pains and give you the happiness that you deserve… I want to marry you, Ishana… (Ishana cries and hugs him) Just now you said that you want to marry me for your family’s happiness… I don’t want that Ishana… I want you to marry me for yourself, not for your family…
Ishu: (breaks the hug and looks at him) I’m scared… (Omkara is surprised with her)
Om: Scared?? For what?? I won’t harm you…
Ishu: I’m scared that I will lose you like I lost Dev… (Fear can be seen on her face) No… I can’t stand if it happens again… (Holds his face) I can’t afford to lose you… (Cries) (Omkara realised this is what she is fearing about… He just hugs her and strokes her hair)
Om: (breaks the hug and makes her to look at him) Ishana, listen to me… Nothing will happen as you fear… Don’t think negatively… Think positive… Don’t let the negative thoughts to control your heart and mind… You can’t live happily if you are scared like this… I’m with you, Ishana and I won’t leave you at any cost… Won’t you trust me??
Ishu: (looks at his eyes which are having hope) I trust you… I trust you more than myself…
Om: Then, marry me for your sake, Ishana… We will lead a happy life…
Ishu: (looks at him tearfully and nods) Hmm… I will marry you for my sake… (Omkara smiles in relief and hugs her)
Om: I love you, Ishana… (Breaks the hug and kisses her forehead… He looks at Ishana and smiles…) This sindoor looks beautiful on you… (Ishana smiles and hugs him again) Actually, Ishana, I’m having a plan…
Ishu: What plan?? (Omkara smiles at her)
At lawn
Madhu is sitting on the bench recalling whatever happened just now… She didn’t open her mouth just now… She is still in shock to know the fact about Ishana… She cries and touches her heart… A hand wipes her tears… She turns and sees Karthik there… He sits beside her… Madhu looks at him confusingly…
Karthik: Why are you sitting here??
Madhu: Nothing… I was just simply sitting here… (Sobs)
Karthik: For crying?? Without anyone’s knowledge?? (Madhu starts to cry badly… Karthik feels bad looking at her… He moves closer to her and hugs her shoulder… She places her head on his shoulder… He lets her to cry… She calms after a while… Madhu realised she is lying on his shoulder… She gets up immediately and composed herself… Karthik smiles at her…)
Madhu: So strange… (Karthik looks at her questioningly) I thought you will be broken as well but you are talking normally…
Karthik: (smiles) I was broken after knowing the truth… It hurt me a lot to know that Ishu maa….. (Couldn’t complete the sentence) But after I saw Omkara’s love for Ishu maa, I gained my strength back… I thought whatever happened for good only… Omkara is there to bring changes in her life… We don’t have to worry about it… Don’t cry like this… Ishu maa can’t see you broken like this… (Cups her face with one hand) Hmm?? (Madhu nods her head and smiles at him)
Madhu: Thanks you… I’m feeling light now… (Karthik smiles and hugs her)
IshKara who were heading towards the guest room are surprised to see MaKar at lawn… Ishana knows MaKar are hurt as well learning her truth… Omkara understands her and they both walk towards them… Both of them are surprised to see Karthik talks maturely… They smile at each other and stand quietly watching them… Omkara clears his throat to make them realise their presence… MaKar break the hug and look at IshKara… Madhu runs towards Ishana and hugs her… Ishana just strokes her back… Ishana smiles looking at Karthik and signs him towards her… He goes and hugs her as well… Omkara smiles looking at them…
Ishu: (breaks the hug) I was worried about you both but luckily you both are comforting each other… I’m proud of you Karthik…
Karthik: (smiles) I learned from you only, Ishu maa… (Ishana smiles at him) But, Madhu is worrying a lot…
Madhu: It was before… Not now… (Kisses Ishana’s cheek)
Om: Karthik, you are calling Ishana as Ishu maa, so will you call me papa as well??
Karthik: You want me to call you like that?? I have no problem… (Omkara is shocked while IshMa chuckle looking at him)
Om: (stammers) Yeah… You can call me like that if you want, I don’t have any objection…
Karthik: (laughs) Ok, papa… (All laugh)
Madhu: So, when you both decided to get married??
Om: We are going to talk about that only… Let’s go inside first… (They leave inside the house)
Living Room
The Oberois and Raichands gathered there… They are waiting for Omkara to say something…
Shivaay: Om, why did you call us??
Om: To talk about our marriage…
Kalyani: We already told you to take your time and decide about your marriage…
Om: We know that, daadi… Actually, we both want to get married as soon as possible…
Rudra: (teasingly) O, you are so desperate to get married to bhabhi, right??
Shivaay: Shut up, Rudra!! Om, what happened?? Why you decided like this suddenly??
Om: Shivaay, actually we are having a plan…
Sid: What plan??
Ishu: To trap Gauri’s real murderer…
All: What??
Om: Yes… Ashok told that the man’s enmity with me and Ishana… If he get to know that we both are getting married soon, he won’t keep quiet… He will try to do something to us… And that time, we will catch him…
Annika: Ishu, you agreed to marry him for this only??
Ishu: No, Annika… You are mistaken… This one we thought suddenly… Trust me… (Annika smiles)
Arjun: But, we can’t risk both of your lives… What if he tried to harm you both??
Om: Sometimes risk have to be taken in our lives, Arjun… Don’t worry… I won’t let anything happen to Ishana…
Raghav: We are not worrying about Ishu only, you as well…
Om: I know… Nothing will happen to both of us… We need all of your support in this…
Tej: I think Om is right… This will be the best way to catch the real killer… I’m with you, Om… (Omkara smiles at him)
Shivaay: Tell us what we have to do now…
Om: I’ll tell you… (Tells something in mute)
Dush: Do you think this will work??
Om: It will definitely works… I’m having confident in it…
Shivaay: Ok, Om… I’ll do as you said… When we will execute this plan?? Tomorrow??
Om: No… I have some important works tomorrow… We will execute this on the day after tomorrow…
Ranveer: Om is right… In fact, I’m having some important work too tomorrow (thinks of something)… So, will start the next day as Om said… (Shivaay nods and looks at Savitri who is still worried… He walks towards her and holds her hand)
Shivaay: Why are you still sad, daadima??
Savi: No, beta… I just hope nothing bad will happen like last time…
Karan: We all are here, daadima… We won’t let anything to happen… (Looks at NiTiMi) Take her to her room… (NiTiMi take Savitri and leave from there… SwetIshMa too go with them…)

Ranveer: (smiles) Same answer as Om…
Annika: Om, have she confessed her love??
Om: Not yet, bhabhi… Actually, not only pain and guilt are stopping her from accepting my love… Fear is included as well…

Om: Fear of losing me… (Looks at them) She is scared that she will lose me like she lost Dev… (All look worriedly)

Annika: I thought to ask him to take her for dinner date tomorrow if she has confessed her love… But, it’s no use now… (sighs)
Om: Bhabhi, it’s not necessary that she has to confess her love if I want to take her for dinner date…
All: That means, you… (Looking at him questioningly)
Om: (smiles) Yes… I planned to take her tomorrow… But, I need to do some preparation for that…
Prinku: Not bad… Om bhaiya can think like this too… (Teasingly while others laughs… Omkara just smiles and leaves to his room)
