CHAPTER 70
OBEROI MANSION
Dining Room
All are sitting at the dining table… Shivaay is serving Ishana…
Shivaay: Your bhaiyas and jijus told me that you loved chicken very much. So, I made chicken manchurian and pudina rice for you…
Ishu: (smiles) Thank you… (She started to eat the food followed by everyone…)
Omkara who is sitting in front of Ishana continuously looking at her lovingly… Rudra notices this and signs everyone to look at him… They chuckle among themselves silently… Ishana realised his gaze on her but she doesn’t look at him and continue having her food…
Annika: Enough of looking at her, Om… Let her eat first… Poor girl… She is struggling a lot to avoid your gaze on her… (Omkara realised that everyone is looking at him… He turns to his plate and has his food… Ishana smiles looking at his state… All have their food silently…)
Om: (after a while) I need to tell you all something… (All look at him questioningly) I decided to reopen Gauri’s accident case…
Shivaay: Are you sure, Om??
Om: Yes, Shivaay…
Shivaay: Fine… I’ll talk to Siddharth and commissioner to reopen the case… (Omkara nods and looks at Ishana who smiles at him… He winks at her making her startled… He smiles at her reaction and continue having his food…)
The Oberois ask Ishana to stay for some time… Ishana agrees and stay there chatting with AniSouPriRu… Ishana sees the time and realised it’s already very late…
Ishu: It’s getting very late… Can I leave now??
Shivaay: Come, Ishana… I’ll send you back… (Ishana agrees and about to leave with Shivaay but Omkara stops Shivaay)
Om: Shivaay, I’ll send her back… (Shivaay smiles and about to agree)
Ishu: No… (All look at her in surprise) I mean, I can go myself… My house is not far… So, no need to come with me…
Kalyani: No, putthar… It’s already dark now and not safe for you to go back alone… Let Om come with you… Om, you go with her…
Om: Sure, daadi… (Goes towards Ishana) So, shall we?? (Ishana agrees hesitatingly)
IshKara leave from Oberoi Mansion… They walk going to Raichand Mansion… Omkara thought to take her in car but he wanted to spend some time with her… That’s why he preferred to walk… Both of them walking silently…
Ishu: Thank you… (Omkara looks at her) For agreeing to reopen Gauri’s case…
Om: I agreed for you only, Ishana…
Ishu: I know…
Om: Why I feel like I’m talking with different Ishana?? (Ishana looks at him questioningly) Ishana that I know can’t stay away from me and she can’t stand if I avoided her… But, now, you are trying to avoid me and and staying away from me… Why?? Because I confessed my love to you?? In one day, these many gaps between with us… I think from tomorrow you will not even look at me… Right, Ishana?? (Hurt can be heard in his voice)
Ishu: It’s not like that… You are mistaken…
Om: Really?? Do you still remember the night after you discharged from the hospital, you asked me to promise that whatever happens, I must not ignore you or stay away from you?? Still remember that… I’m still keeping my promise but you have forgotten the promise that you asked me… (Ishana recalls the night where he cared for her wounds… Tears are flowing from her eyes… Omkara sees it…) Sorry… I didn’t mean to hurt you… Let’s go… (Ishana wipes her tears and continue to walk with him… Suddenly, the electricity went off and the whole area become dark… Ishana gets scared and started to breath heavily… Omkara is shocked to see her like that… He holds her shoulders…) What happened, Ishana??
Ishu: (in nervousness) Darkness!! I’m scared of this darkness… Take me from here… Please… (Omkara is surprised to know about this)
Om: You are scared of darkness?? As I know, you don’t have this type of fear… (Sees her still in restless) Ok… Don’t be scared… I’m with you… (Hugs her and caresses her back… He looks here and there but he only can see darkness… He can’t take her to Oberoi Mansion nor Raichand Mansion… They are standing at the middle of both of the mansions… Ishana closes her eyes tightly clutching his shirt)
Omkara thinks of what to do and he sees a moonlight… He takes out his mobile and switch on the torch light…
Om: Ishana, there is a moonlight… Let’s go there… I’m having torch in my mobile… We will go back after the power came… (Ishana nods and they walk towards the moonlight)
They reach to the place… Ishana leaves him…
Om: Are you ok, now??
Ishu: Yes… Thank you…
Om: If you don’t mind, can I ask you something?? (Ishana nods) As I know, you don’t have fear of darkness… How come suddenly??
Ishu: You are right… I don’t afraid of darkness before this… But, since the kidnap, I started to have this fear… They made me to stay in that dark room for three days… I can’t see anything… They only switch on the light when they came to see me… That too very dim one… On the first day, they blindfolded me as well… Since that, I started to have this fear inside me… I can’t see any darkness… While sleeping too, I will make sure the light is on… (Omkara feels bad listening to her… He knows she has been physically tortured during the kidnap but he doesn’t know that she is mentally tortured as well… He cursed himself for being careless that day…)
Om: I’m sorry, Ishana… It’s because of me… If I was careful that day, they must not have kidnapped you… And, you won’t suffer this much… I’m really very sorry…
Ishu: Don’t say like that… I already told it’s not because of you… Then why are you still blaming yourself??
Om: Just like you are blaming yourself for the accident…
Ishu: Don’t compare both of the incidents… Both are different… The accident happened because of me…
Om: And you are kidnapped because of my carelessness… You were tortured brutally by them… You stayed without food and in darkness for three days… And that Ashok (stops a while) tried to misbehave with you… Do you know how I felt that time?? I must not be able to forgive myself if something has happened to you…
Ishu: Please don’t say like this… I can’t see you like this… Whatever happened it’s because of their vengeance towards me… (Cups his face) Not because of you…
Om: (holds her hands) Ok… I won’t blame myself for your kidnap… But, you also must stop blaming yourself for Gauri’s accident…
Ishu: (sighs) I can’t… I caused her death… Not only her’s, but your baby’s as well… How I can stop blaming myself??
Om: If like that means, I and Prinku too must blame ourselves for causing Ranveer’s sister’s death… Ranveer should not forgive us and loves Prinku… Fine!! I’ll ask both of them to end their relationship…
Ishu: (holds his collar) What are you saying?? Why do you want to end their relationship??
Om: Then, what should I do, Ishana?? He is going to marry his sister’s murderer… How I can let that happen??
Ishu: Don’t you say that again about Priyanka… Have you forgotten how much she suffered because of that accident?? Her panic attack?? Her nervousness which caused her to stammer while speaking?? Not only her… You too became a drug addict because of that accident… She got her love after these years… Do you want to break it?? How could you say like this?? (Cries)
Om: (smirks) We suffered because of the accident… Don’t you suffer as well?? How many sleepless nights you faced after that accident?? How many nightmares you had in these years?? (Holds her hand) How many times your right hand has shivered in these years because of your guiltiness?? At least, I and Prinku remember the accident we did but you don’t even remember it… You only know after you have been told… Tell me one thing… Did you blame Prinku after Ranveer told you that she caused his sister’s death?? (Ishana looks at him silently) No, right… Because you know that was an accident and we didn’t do it intentionally… Why you can’t think the same of Gauri’s accident as well?? (Ishana looks at him shockingly… She doesn’t have answer for his question… He smirks at her…) You can’t answer, right?? Fine… (Pushes her) I won’t come near to you or touch till you give me the answer… You are distancing yourself from me right?? From now, I will keep distance from you… (Ishana is shocked listening to him… The electricity comes back…) The power come ready… Let’s go back… (IshKara leave from there to Raichand Mansion… Omkara send Ishana and about to leave but Siddharth stops him)
Sid: Om, Shivaay said that you agreed to reopen the case… (Omkara looks at Ishana and nods his head at Siddharth) Good… I need to talk with Shivaay… So, I’ll be coming with you now…
Arjun: Bhaiya, I also coming with you… (Siddharth agrees and three of them leave from there)
Madhu’s Room
Madhu is lying on her bed thinking of something… She suddenly gets up in jerk and runs from her room… She knocks Ranveer’s room door… The door opened and she sees Karthik there…
Karthik: Hey, Madhu!! What are you doing here at this time?? Do you want to see me?? (Winks at her)
Madhu: I didn’t come to see you… Move… (Pushes him) Ranveer bhaiya!!
Ranveer: Madhu?? What happened?? Are you ok?? (Placing his palm on her forehead checking for fever)
Madhu: I’m fine, bhaiya… We need to go to meet someone now…
Ranveer: Who??
Madhu: I will tell you… Faster come… (Drags him with her)
Ishana’s Room
Ishana is standing at the window looking outside… She is keep on thinking what Omkara said just now…
Ishu: Am I forgivable?? I caused two deaths… How I can forgive myself even though it was an accident?? But, he was right too… (Holds her head) I’m so confused… (Her room door is knocked from outside)
Ishana goes and opens the door… She is surprised to see RanMa there…
Ishu: Both of you at this time?? (Ranveer shrugs his shoulder and looks at Madhu)
Madhu: No time to talk… Come with us now… (Pulls her hand and three of them leave from there)
OBEROI MANSION
ShiOmRuPri and ArSid are in the study room…
Shivaay: From where we have to start our investigation??
Sid: I thought to start from the accident spot… Maybe we can find some clues there…
Rudra: But, bhaiya, that place is too big… How we will find evidence there??
Arjun: We have to try first, Rudra… We can’t say anything without trying…
Om: Arjun, what Dr Rohan said to you regarding the accident??
Arjun: Actually, he too is not very clear about the accident… RaDuKa pressured him to protect Ishu from your family… That’s why he couldn’t check her properly… But, Ishu’s wounds on her head and her hand made him to doubt about the accident… But, he didn’t say this to anyone… He just want Ishu to be safe… If Ishu has stayed for some more days, he could have done full check up on her… (All listen to him carefully)
Shivaay: (thinks something) Om, how did you know that Arjun met Dr Rohan?? (ArOm smile looking at each)
Arjun: Actually, Om has indirectly helped me in this case… Without knowing it was Gauri’s accident… (All look at him surprisingly while he just smiles)
Shivaay: Really, Om?? You didn’t tell us about this…
Rudra: O, how many shock you will give us since morning?? In fact, now I too feel like fainting like Ishana bhabhi… (Om slaps his head)
Om: Actually, Arjun, I doubted that it might related with Gauri’s accident… But, I never tell you…
Sid: Guys, what is happening here?? How Om can involve in this??
Arjun: I’ll tell you, bhaiya… Do you still remember that doctor were asking about Ishu’s hand being weak??
Sid: Yeah… You said that the doctor told that her hand can’t be weak because of accident… She might have been hit terribly on her hand… So, you thought that something else happened on that day… And you and Swetlana thought to get the report from the hospital to know complete details regarding her injuries… So, you both went and steal the report from the hospital…
Prinku: What?? You steal bhabhi’s medical record from the hospital?? (Arjun nods his head)
Om: That night I went to hospital to see Ishana but I was surprised to see Arjun there with Swetlana… I thought they are going to visit Ishana as well but they went to another side… I felt something fishy and decided to follow them silently… I saw both of them went into a room and came out after sometime with a file and leave from there quickly before anyone see them… I was wondering what is inside the file that they both are hiding it… The next day, Ishana got discharged and that night I went into his room and saw he was sleeping… I realised he kept the file on his table… I took the file and look at it… I’m surprised when I saw Ishana’s name on it and the record is about few years back… I was about to read it but he moves in his sleep that time… I thought he might wake up, so I clicked some pictures of the documents and decide to read them after I came back…
Rudra: Did you read them??
Om: (nods) Yes… I read them and I was 75% sure that Ishana somehow related with Gauri’s accident…
Shivaay: What made you to think like that??
Om: The date of the accident is same as our Gauri’s accident and the time she got admitted also almost same as Gauri’s… And, the most important thing, the doctor who treated Ishana is one of the doctor who treated Gauri as well…
Arjun: (shocked) But, you didn’t tell me about this at all…
Om: Yeah… Because I want to know what you all know about the accident… That’s why I never said anything to you…
Sid: Wait a minute… Arjun, did you know that he came to your room that night??
Arjun: Yes, bhaiya… Actually, I doubted RaDuKa hiding something from us… Bhabhi felt the same too… That’s why that night after we came back late after taking the file from the hospital, I behaved like they will have doubt on me… I thought they will came to my room to ask something… That’s why I left the file on the table and I placed a hidden camera in my room… But, that didn’t happen… The next day after Ishu’s discharge I was surprised to see in the footage that Om came to my room… Before I could ask him, he called me and told that he saw me and bhabhi with a file at hospital… He asked me about the file and I told him everything about the accident that Ishu met three years back and she didn’t remember about the accident… I also told what the doctor said about Ishu’s hand being weak… Om too felt suspicious about the accident… He is the one suggested me to meet Rohan, who treated Ishu after that accident and ask him about it… Maybe he can help us… This is how Om involve in this matter…
Sid: So, Om, you already having doubt that Ishu might never done the accident??
Om: Slightly… (Siddharth looks at him sadly) Don’t ever think like that, Siddharth… I don’t love your sister because she is not the reason for Gauri’s death… My love for her will be the same even if she did the accident… I can’t accept if you think like that… That’s why I don’t want to reopen the case… But, Ishana pleaded me to reopen it… I’m scared that she might feel like you are feeling now…
Voice: I would not think like that about you… (All turn and see Ishana at the door with RanMa and AniSou)
Sid: Ranveer, what are you doing here at this time?? That too with IshMa??
Shivaay: All of you come inside, first… (AniSou and IshRanMa walk inside the study room… Ishana is continuously looking at Omkara… Omkara too is looking at her… He wants to hug her but control himself thinking of what he said to her just now…)
Ranveer: Actually, Madhu wants to say something… She dragged me and Ishu to come here…
Sid: What’s the matter, Madhu?? Are you ok?? (Placing her palm on her face checking for fever)
Madhu: (holds his hand) I’m fine, bhaiya… I want to ask Shivaay sir something…
Shivaay: You can ask me, Madhu… But, before that, don’t call me sir… I’m not your boss, ok?? Call me bhaiya…
Madhu: (smiles) Ok, bhaiya… (Shivaay smiles and pats her cheek) Can I ask you now?? (Shivaay nods) How did you know that Ishu is the one did the accident??
Shivaay: That Ashok and Kamini told me… Why are you asking that??
Madhu: (towards Ishana) Ishu, you didn’t remember the accident… How come suddenly you got to know that you are the one did the accident?? Have you gotten back your lost memories??
Ishu: No… No… I still haven’t got my memory back… Ashok and Kamini are the one told me…
Ranveer: Did you bring us here ask this?? I would have told you if you asked me earlier…
Madhu: Bhaiya, I too know that… But, did anyone of you think how Ashok and Kamini know about the accident?? How they know Ishu is the one done the accident?? (All started to think)
Annika: Madhu is right… How they knew about this??
Soumya: I think they also just know about it… If they know it earlier, they must have told earlier to us and create problems between our family…
Sid: Soumya is right… That means someone could have told them about it… Only 7 of you know about it before this and no one else… If they got to know about this, that means…..
Rudra: The real killer has told them…
Shivaay: Right… So, they might know the real killer… But, how??
Sid: Tomorrow, we will go to the jail and ask that Ashok… He have to tell us the truth…
Om: I’ll be coming with you as well…
Arjun: So, bhaiya, Shivaay and Om will go and meet that Ashok while all of us will go to the accident spot…
Shivaay: Ok… We will join you all after that…
Annika: Shivaay, can we include in this mission as well?? Solutions can be find easily if manpower are many… Please, Billu ji…
Shivaay: Ok… But, be careful… Rudra, take them with you tomorrow… (Rudra agrees)
Sid: Ok… We are leaving now… It’s already very late… (All started to leave from the room except IshKara… Omkara is about to leave but a pair of hands hug him from behind… He stands there controlling his emotions…)
