CHAPTER 62
RAICHAND MANSION
AshKam are shocked to hear Swetlana pregnant while others are surprised and happy to hear the news… Swetlana looking at Ishana in disbelief…
Ishu: (kneels in front of her and holds her hand) I’m sorry, bhabhi… I know that I should not hide this matter from you… You are the one should know about your pregnancy first… But, I hide it from you for your safety… I don’t want these two knew about your pregnancy and try to harm you… That’s why I hide it… Moreover, you are still weak that time and I need to take a proper care of you… That’s why I told bhaiya that I need your assistance for Priyanka’s function… So that I can stop you from going back to Chennai… I know what I did is unforgivable but please forgive your daughter… (Holding her ears)
Swet: (also kneels and moves Ishana’s hand from her ears) I know about my daughter… She can’t do wrong… My Ishu will think good only for everyone… Why I should forgive you when you are not wrong?? (Hugs Ishana and kisses her head… Others smile looking at them except two people who are staring angrily at them)
Kamini: How is this possible?? Those medicines are very strong… It’s impossible for her to get pregnant… (A slap lands on her face… She turns and sees Savitri staring at her angrily)
Savi: Are you a woman?? You did a big sin by killing an unborn and make my children to suffer these years… But, still you don’t repent for it… I feel ashamed to call you as a woman…
Ishu: (calms her) Relax, daadima… She thinks there is no cure for bhabhi’s problem… But, she doesn’t know the power of our herbs… No medicines can fight with the herbs… I studied in internet how to cure the problem and I saw an Ayurvedic treatment for it… I went and met the doctor for the solution… He gave some herbal medicines and ask me to give this to bhabhi… I will mix it in her drinks without her knowing and will make her to drink it saying that her health is weak… Besides, I learned about the food she must take to make her uterus strong… That is how my bhabhi is cured… And a little baby is growing inside her womb now… (Swetlana smiles shyly and touches her stomach… Siddharth hugs her…)
Kamini doesn’t like to see Swetlana happy… She was thinking what she has to do… She looks at something and smiles… She pushes Annika and runs towards a table… She takes a knife from there and about to stab Swetlana but a hand stops her by holding the knife… All are shocked to see Tej holding the knife and his blood are oozing out from his palm… He pushes her and ShiOmRu caught hold her…
Jhanvi: (screams) Tej!! (Runs towards him… RaDuKa immediately do the first aid for Tej)
Shivaay: (angrily) How dare you to harm my family?? Not only Oberois, Raichands are my family too…
Tej: Don’t leave them, Shivaay… They tried to kill our Om and Ishana suffered a lot because of them… Hand them over to the police…
Rudra: I called the police ready… They must reach here in a while… (The police reached there… They arrest AshKam and about to leave…)
Ranveer: Hold on one second, officer… (All turn towards him) Can I know for what case you are arresting them??
Police: For kidnapping Ms Ishana and murder attempt on Mr Oberoi and Mrs Swetlana…
Ranveer: Add another case… Murder case!! (All look at him in confuse)
Shivaay: What are you saying?? Murder??
Ranveer: Yes, Shivaay… I’m saying the truth…
Police: But, whom did they murdered??
Ranveer: (goes towards AshKam) He is asking, right?? Tell him whom you murdered….
Ashok: I don’t murder anyone… Why should I??
Ranveer: (smirks) Really?? Then, why did you kill Dev?? (All are shocked with this new revelation… AshKam are dumbfounded with his question)
All: Dev??
Ranveer: (chokes his neck) Tell everyone, why did you kill Dev?? Don’t tell that you didn’t do it… I know it was you…
Ashok: Are you mad?? What proof you are having that I’m the one killed Dev??
Ranveer: (pulls his hand and shows him) This tattoo!! I remembered when and where I saw this tattoo… I saw during the accident… Your car almost collide with my car that day… Before I could get down, you waved your hand to me and sped off from there… And that time I saw this tattoo on your hand…
Ashok: You can’t conclude me as the murderer because of this tattoo… Anyone can have this tattoo…
Sid: Ranveer, it’s just a tattoo… We can’t take this as a proof…
Ranveer: I don’t say anything without proof, Siddharth… I know this tattoo can be on anyone… I have another proof… (Ashok look at him in confuse) That area is covered by CCTV… I watched the footage and it shows him only…
Ashok: No!! It’s a lie… That area doesn’t have CCTV… I checked all over the place before….. (Realised what he is saying… He looks at Ranveer who is smirking at him while others looks at him in anger and shock… Ashok understand that Ranveer trapped him…) Yes!!! I’m the one killed him… But, I didn’t target him… My target was Ishana… Mom told me that Ishana challenged her… She doesn’t want Ishana to win… So, we planned to kill her for becoming hurdle in our motive… But, that Dev came in between and died… I felt that was good Dev died and I can have Ishana for myself… I talked to Swetlana for marrying her but she refused me to marry Ishana… I waited for these years to have her but she found a new man… I wanted to kill him for coming in my way… That’s why I cut the chandelier rope on that function day… But, this Ishana saved him and they become more closer…
Om: So, you wanted to kill me to have Ishana??
Ashok: Not only that… You are the weakness of Shivaay and Ishana… If you died, both of them will fall weak… And our aim to destroy Oberois will fulfilled… Also we can get our properties documents…
Shivaay: (punches him) How dare you to try to kill my brother?? No one can touch my brothers till I’m alive… (OmRu controls him)
Swet: (goes towards Ashok and slaps him many times) How dare you to ruin my daughter’s life?? I know you are obsessed with her… But, how you could do this?? She supposed to marry him that day?? You made her to live like a widow!! (Cries)
Ashok: (smirks) What?? She is living like a widow?? She is a… (Ranveer punches him)
Ranveer: Officer, take him away… (Hand over a chip) All of his confessions are in this chip… I think it’s enough for them to get punished..
The police drag AshKam with them… Shivaay goes behind them… Ishana is very much shocked with the new revelation… She feels dizzy and almost fell but Madhu holds her…
Madhu: Ishu!! Bhaiya, jiju!! Ishu fainted… (All rush towards them… Omkara lifts her in his arms and takes her to room)
Arjun: I think she is very much exhausted with the happenings here…
Sid: I didn’t think that Ashok will be the reason behind Dev’s death… OmRu, you already know about it??
Rudra: No, bhaiya… Ranveer never tell us about that… He only asked us to not to ask him about that chandelier event first… He said he will make him to admit his mistake himself…
Madhu: How we are going to handle Ishu after she wake up??
Om: Don’t worry… I’ll handle her…
Outside Raichand Mansion
Shivaay is talking with the police officer…
Shivaay: Make sure they never escape… They have to be punished severely for their deeds…
Police: Don’t worry, Mr Oberoi… We will take care of them…
Shivaay: Can I talk to them??
Police: Sure… You can…
Shivaay: (goes towards AshKam) Both of you can’t escape now… You will be punished for all your deeds towards my family… You will know what is the impact for touching my family… (Turns to leave)
Ashok: (smirks) Really, Shivaay?? But, you saved a person who caused pain to your family… You saved a person who caused pain to your dearest brother, Omkara… (Shivaay stares at him in confuse)
Shivaay: What are you saying??
Ashok: (laughs) You saved the person who caused the death of your brother’s wife… (Shivaay looks at him in shock)
Shivaay: (shocked) What do you mean??
Ashok: That Ishana you and your family supported just now is the one killed your brother’s wife three years ago…
Shivaay: (angrily holds his collar) I won’t believe you…
Kamini: He is telling the truth… Ishana is the one did Gauri’s accident… If you don’t want to believe, go and ask them was she involved in accident three years before??
Ashok: (laughs) You know something?? The funniest thing is your brother is crazily in love with her… Go and tell him that he is in love with his wife’s murderer… (The police take both of them and leave from there)
Shivaay: How is this possible?? Ishana caused Gauri’s death?? No… I won’t believe this… But, how if it’s true?? (He recalls the Raichands told at hospital that Ishana met accident few years ago… Shivaay cries…) That means Ishana… (Cries) How I will tell Om about this?? He loves her deeply… He can’t bear this truth…
Annika search for Shivaay and sees him outside… She goes towards him…
Annika: Shivaay, what are you doing here?? Ishana fainted after knowing that Ashok killed Dev… All are worried thinking about her…
Shivaay: (thinks) Annika is worrying about Ishana who caused her sister’s death… How she will react if she knows that Ishana caused Gauri’s death??
Annika sees Shivaay lost in his thought and shakes him…
Annika: What’s wrong Shivaay?? (Shivaay hugs her tightly and cries… Annika is surprised with his action… She just caresses his back calming him… Shivaay breaks the hug after a while) I know what you are worrying about… Ishana right?? (Cups his face) Don’t worry, Shivaay… That Ashok and Kamini have been arrested now… Everything is fine now… Nothing can trouble us anymore… Let’s go inside…
Shivaay: You go first… I need to make a call… (Annika nods and leaves from there) It’s not over yet, Annika… The real problem just started… (He calls someone on his mobile) Meet me tomorrow at my office… It’s urgent!!! (He ends the call and goes inside)
ISHANA’S ROOM
Ishana is still unconscious while others are waiting in the living room… Only Omkara is staying with Ishana… He sits beside her holding her hands waiting for her to get conscious… Ishana starts to breath heavily and flashes of Dev’s accident appear in her mind…
Ishu: (screams) Dev!!!
Omkara is shocked hearing her scream… He hugs her and calms her…
Ishu: I killed him… I killed my Dev… I’m the one supposed to die that day… But, he sacrifice his life to save me… I’m the one reason for his death…
Om: (tighten his hug) Shhh… Don’t say like that… Whatever happened, we can’t change it… You are not the reason behind Dev’s death… That Ashok and Kamini are the reason behind Dev’s death… Now, they have been arrested… Whoever commit a mistake, must be punished… They can’t escape now…
Ishu: (looks at him) Whoever commit a mistake, must be punished, right?? (Omkara nods… Ishana cries and about to hug him)
Ishu: Can I hug you?? Please…
Om: (confused with her question) What question is this?? Of course you can hug me… You don’t have to ask my permission… (Ishana cries and hugs him tightly… He kisses her head and hugs her back… They stay like that for sometime…)
Both of the families are standing outside the room and watching the scene silently… They came when they heard Ishana’s scream… But, they saw Omkara consoling her and decide to not to interfere… Shivaay too comes there… He sees Ishana’s state and feels bad looking at her…
Shivaay: (thinks) She is looking so innocent… I can’t believe she did the accident… She always took pain to herself… How could she gave pain to someone?? (Omkara realised their presence and looks at them)
Om: (still hugging her) Why you all are standing there?? Come inside… (Ishana breaks the hug and looks at them)
Sid: (goes towards Ishana) We can’t see you broken like this, Ishu… You came to us after so much of struggle and suffering… Please don’t fall weak again… (Ishana nods her head and hugs him)
Ishu: Bhaiya… (Siddharth looks at her) I’m hungry…
Nivi: I’ll make food for you… Just few minutes… (Turns to go)
Shivaay: Nivi!! (Nivedha looks at her) I’ll make food for her… (Nivedha agrees and take him to kitchen)
At kitchen
Shivaay is preparing dish while Nivedha is helping him…
Shivaay: Poor girl… She suffered a lot since small till now…
Nivi: (smiles sadly) Yes, sir… Whatever we thought to not to happen, all happened… I don’t understand why she is the one facing all the problems…
Shivaay: Because she is strong enough to handle those problems… Her hand was having problem before but she didn’t worry about that…
Nivi: You are right, sir… I don’t know if I can stay strong like her if I was in her place… That’s why RaDuKa called her the iron lady of the family…
Shivaay: (smiles) Nivi, what’s wrong with Ishana’s hand?? Did she met any accident before??
Nivi: Yes… Three years before she met with accident… Since then, she had the problem… After few months, her hand was fine… But, again it started after she came here…
Shivaay: Where the accident happened?? In Chennai??
Nivi: No… She came here to Mumbai with Dev that time… If I’m not mistaken, that time they got to know about Ashok caused the trouble for bhabhi… They came to meet Kamini in jail… Dev stucked with some work, so he couldn’t came… Ishu met Kamini alone at the jail… After that only everything happened…
Shivaay: Everything happened means??
Nivi: (thinks a while) The accident… I’m saying about the accident… (Shivaay understand that she is hiding something…)
Shivaay: The food is ready… Let’s go and invite everyone… (ShivNi leave from there)
At Dining
Arjun feeds Ishana… Ishana is forcing herself to have the food… This doesn’t go unnoticed by Omkara… Ishana looks at him with painful expression… Omkara couldn’t understand why she is looking at him like that… He just brushes off his thought thinking that she is disturbed with today’s event… Everyone have their food after Ishana finished her food… The Oberois leave after having their dinner…
Ishana’s room
Ishana is lying on the bed lost in her thought…
Tia: What are you thinking, Ishu baby??
Ishu: (turns and surprised to see her siblings there) You all are here??
Swet: We thought to spend some time together with you… That’s why…
Ishu: Thanks, bhabhi… In fact, I too feel to stay with you all tonight…
Nivi: Let’s do one thing… All of us will stay here tonight…
RaDuKa: Sure…
Sid: It’s been long time we sleep together with whole family…
Arjun: Yeah… We will chat for long time tonight… Moreover, we don’t aware of few matters… So, we need to know about it… (Looks at Karthik)
Karthik: I will tell you, yaar… Don’t spit fire from your eyes like Ishu ma…
Swet: In fact, I too want to know clearly about my pregnancy…
Madhu: We will tell you, bhabhi… Don’t worry…
Mithra: We will get the mattresses and the blankets… Come, girls… (NiTiMiMa leave from there… They come after a while bringing those things… All settled on Ishana’s bed…)
Ishu: Who wants to start first??
Arjun: Our bhabhi will start first… I will ask this idiot later…
Swet: When did you discover my pregnancy??
Ishu: Remember the next day after bhaiya’s function, we went to hospital for Madhu’s check up?? (Swetlana nods) We both went with them as well… Actually, it was my plan to take you to the hospital…
Swet: Yeah… You took me to the doctor when Karan took Madhu with him… You said it’s a normal check up… In fact, you too did the check up…
Ishu: I don’t want you to have doubt… That’s why I did the check up for myself… The next day, the doctor called me and said that you are pregnant… I was so happy to hear about it… But, the doctor said you are still weak and need to have some medication… So, I decide to hide this matter from you till you are strong a bit…
Swet: Who else knew about this other than you?? (Looks at RaDuKa) You??
RaDuKa: We don’t know…
Madhu raises her hand up followed by Siddharth and Arjun…
Swet: (towards ArSid) Both of you know about it?? But you didn’t tell me… I can understand Madhu… She won’t tell anything to anyone…
Sid: I just knew it few weeks before… Ishu told me at the hospital after the chandelier incident… And, that is how I calmed Arjun when he was in anger after knowing about Ashok cutting the chandelier rope… (Arjun nods his head)
Swet: I am pregnant but I too didn’t realise it…
Ishu: Actually, bhabhi, there were few symptoms that shows you are pregnant… (Swetlana looks at her) Your mood swings… Sometimes you will be more excited, emotional or….
Madhu: More romantic… Right, bhaiya?? (Winks at Siddharth)
Sid: Right… (Swetlana blushes and slaps his arm)
Ranveer: We know how romantic she is… (With a teasing smile)
Raghav: So, Madhu, that’s why you stopped di from giving her blood to Ishu?? (Madhu nods)
Dush: I’m impressed… You still manage to think in that critical situation… That’s very good, Madhu… (Madhu smiles)
Karan: Don’t you know, Robin?? She is the latest doctor in our family… She knows well what will be faced by a pregnant woman… That’s why she is always prepared whenever di vomits or feeling dizzy…
Ranveer: That’s why she stopped you three from checking her… You will know that Swetlana is pregnant if you checked her… Right, Madhu??
Madhu: You four are complimenting me or teasing me??
Ishu: They are complimenting you sarcastically, Madhu… (RanRaDuKa laugh at Madhu while Madhu widen her mouth looking at them…)
Arjun: It’s my turn now… Karthik, why did you disguise as a girl??
Karthik: Actually, when all of you went from here, Ranveer was alone here to take care of our ladies… And that is the time that we got to know that Kamini is released from the jail… And, Ranveer informed RaDuKa that there was an intruder in Oberoi Mansion on that night… I thought Ranveer can’t handle everything alone here… That’s why I came here… I don’t want anyone to doubt on me, so NiTiMi gave me the idea to disguise as a girl…
Ishu: But, I already doubted you on the first day when you came here but you managed to hide from me…
Karthik: I knew that you can recognise me just by looking at my eyes and touching me… That’s why I wore contact lense and the gloves…
Sid: Brilliant, Karthik… No one can identify you including your Ishu maa…
Karthik: Ishu maa’s focus not that much on me, bhaiya… Her focus on someone else… (Teasingly)
Ishu: Bhaiya, but someone can sense that he is a guy… That’s why she always has a good chemistry with him… (Gives a mischievous look at Madhu)
Ranveer: Exactly, Ishu… Both of them always fight with each other but sometimes they will lost in their eyelocks… (Both laugh and have a high five)
Ishu: Actually, I was scared at first looking at their chemistry… I thought Madhu’s taste is changed… After knowing the truth only I feel relieved… (MaKar look at each other)
Arjun: Wait… Whom are you talking about?? (IshRan sign them to look at MaKar who are having a deep eyelock… All except RaDuKa are surprised to see them…) Since when this is happening??
Ranveer: It’s started long time from Madhu’s side… Karthik just started to realise it…
All clear their throats to bring MaKar back to their senses… MaKar break their eyelock and turn away feeling awkward… All laugh looking at them… They chat for sometime and dozed off after a while…
