CHAPTER 58
UNKNOWN PLACE
Ishana is thrown on a floor by a man… She screams in pain… Her hands and legs are tied… Her eyes has been blindfolded with a black cloth and her mouth is taped… The man removes the tape from her mouth…
Ishu: (angrily) Who are you?? Why did you kidnap me?? (The man keep quiet) Don’t you feel ashamed to kidnap a girl?? If you are dare enough, go and fight with the men in my family… Such a fraidy-cat!!! (The man get angry and slaps her hard… Ishana screams in pain but she doesn’t lose her courage) What?? Are you angry?? Again you are proving the same only… You are showing your bravery towards me by tying up my eyes, hands and legs… What should I call you then?? If you have guts, unfold my eyes… (He pulls her hair harshly making her screams loudly)
RAICHAND MANSION
Everyone are at the living room waiting for the phone call from the kidnapper… Tia and Mithra are lying on Swetlana’s lap… Swetlana is caressing their hair gently… Nivedha is sitting on the floor with her head placing on the sofa… Madhu is crying silently sitting quite far from them… The guys keep on looking at the phone in tension… No one speak anything… Raichand Mansion is totally in silent…
Omkara felt something in his heart and screams…
Om: Ishana!!! (All are shocked hearing his scream and rush towards him)
Shivaay: (shakes his shoulder) Om!! What happened??
Om: Shivaay, I heard Ishana’s voice… I feel she is in pain… We have to find her, Shivaay…
Shivaay: We will find her, Om… Don’t worry… (Hugs him)
The seniors who are in the room too come towards them…
Tej: What happened, Shivaay??
Shivaay: No, bade papa… Om is very much disturbed with Ishana’s thought…
Rudra: Bhaiya, till now we didn’t receive any call from the kidnapper… What we are going to do now??
Shivaay: I don’t know, Rudra… We only can find her if there is any clue… We can’t go and search her at this time…
Ranveer: Shivaay is right… They planned well for this kidnap… We have to wait for sometime more… Kidnappers might call us…
Om: Can I go to Ishana’s room??
Arjun: Sure… I’ll take you… (ArOm leave from there)
Shivaay: (break down in tears) I can’t see my Om like this… Last time, I saw him broken was during Gauri’s death… And, I’m seeing him again like that now…
Rudra: In fact, now it’s more worst than that time… (All sit on the sofa in disappointment)
Ranveer looks at Priyanka but she avoids his gaze and leaves from there… Ranveer follows her and holds her hand…
Ranveer: What happened, Priyanka?? Why you are not talking with me?? Did I do anything wrong?? (Priyanka fall on knees and burst into tears… Ranveer is shocked to see her broken like this… He too kneels and hugs her)
Prinku: (cries) You didn’t do anything wrong, Ranveer… I’m the one wrong… I must not have took her with me… It happened because of me only… (Cries vigorously)
Ranveer: (breaks the hug and makes her to look at him) No, Priyanka… It’s not your mistake… It could have happened even if you didn’t take her with you… Don’t blame yourself… Please, Priyanka…
Prinku: No, Ranveer… It’s my mistake… (Slaps her face continuously)
Ranveer: (in anger) Shut up, Priyanka!! I’m telling you, right?? It’s not your mistake!! (Realised that he shouted at her… He calms himself…) I’m sorry, Priyanka… I didn’t mean to shout at you… See, Priyanka… If you are blaming yourself for Ishu’s kidnap, then all of us at fault too… We all are busy with our work and didn’t concentrate on her… So, it’s our mistake as well… But, now it’s not the time to say who is right and wrong… We have to support each other in this situation… So, stop blaming yourself… (Priyanka nods her head tearfully and hugs him… Ranveer hugs her back and kisses her hair… Ranveer remembers something) Oh, no!!
Prinku: (breaks the hug) What happened, Ranveer??
Ranveer: Karthik!! I completely forgot with him… He must be broken as well… I need to see him…
Prinku: I’ll come with you… (Both of them leave)
Karthik’s room
Karthik is sitting on his bed and cries thinking about his Ishu maa… He can’t go in front of his family… The family knows him as Karthika only… Not as Karthik… He is scared that he might exposed himself if he stayed with them… That is the reason he stays in his room… He decides to go downstairs to know either they got to know about Ishana…
He goes downstairs and sees everyone are sitting in disappointment… RaDuKa look at him and shakes their head… Karthik just nods his head and about to leave… He sees Madhu sitting alone at the corner… He goes towards her and calls her…
Karthika: Madhu… (Madhu wipes her tears and turns towards him… He sits beside her..) Why are you sitting here alone??
Madhu: Already they are broken because Ishu went missing… I don’t want to disturb them with my tears as well…
Karthika: You love them a lot??
Madhu: More than everything… You know something?? I’m alive now because of Ishu only… She is the one gave me second life when my own family ready to lose me… I had heart problem few years ago and it only can be cured by heart transplantation… I suffered for few years because I couldn’t find any donor as per my parents request… One day, the doctor said that my condition is getting very critical and I can’t be saved if they couldn’t find proper donor… And, that was the time Ishu donated Dev’s organs… Fortunately, his blood group and tissues matched with mine… Unfortunately, our caste, lineage, background are not matched… My parents worried about the society than their daughter’s life… Ishu and Ranveer bhaiya fight with them for my surgery… I don’t have any relation with Ishu and Ranveer bhaiya that time… But, they were fighting for me… Who am I to them?? Nothing… My surgery done after a lot of struggle… My parents couldn’t accept that I’m having someone’s heart who doesn’t belong to their caste… They cursed me for born as a girl and now they can’t face their relations by having someone’s heart… They break all the ties with me and said that I’m dead for them… Ranveer bhaiya and Ishu consoled me saying they are with me… Ranveer bhaiya took care of me when I was in hospital… He treated me as his sister… Even after the surgery, my condition was still weak and need to take proper medication… Ishu took me to her house and told everything to them… They accepted me wholeheartedly and take care of me like one of their family member… I got to know everything about Ishu… (Sobs) One thing I realised that time… Relationship is not made by blood… It’s made by heart and love… Ishu has no blood relation with her family but she is the life line of the family… After I came to this family, I too became the apple of their eyes… They never treated me like a stranger… You know?? I always feel strange connection with Ishu… I can sense her presence and also her danger… I confused at first but I realised maybe it’s because I’m having Dev’s heart… I can sense them through my heart beat… I used to it ready… But,…. (Stops thinking of something)
Karthika: But???
Madhu: Today, I can’t sense her danger… This is the first time it’s happening in these years… Why I can’t sense her danger?? Why my heart didn’t beat like before whenever she is in danger??
Karthika: Because another heart is beating for her… (Madhu looks at her while she just nods her head) I’m saying the truth… (Takes her hand and place it on her chest) From now, this heart will beat for you only… Don’t worry about Ishu madam… Nothing will happen to her… (Madhu hugs her and Karthika reciprocate the hug… Both find comfort in each others arms… Karthik breaks the hug and kisses her forehead… Madhu lies on his arm and he places his head on her head…)
PriVeer who came in search of Karthik stand silently watching MaKar… They heard their conversation from beginning and decide to not to disturb them… They leave from there…
Ishana’s Room
Omkara sits on the bed and cries recalling all the moments he spent with Ishana since their first meet till this afternoon… Their eyelocks, the pain they shared, their closeness, the sindoor incident, the kisses they had… He lies on the bed at the side where she used to sleep… He hugs her pillow tightly… He could smell her fragrance on it… He takes out his mobile and looks at her picture which he took from Rudra’s mobile on the party night…
Om: (caresses her picture) Where are you, Ishana?? Where are you?? Without you, I’m…. (Cries) How I want to find you?? I’m sorry… I couldn’t protect you… I swear after I found you, I won’t stay away from you… I will be with you always… Ishu promise!! (Kisses her picture)
Next morning at Raichand Mansion
All are very exhausted because they didn’t sleep last night… They waited for the kidnapper’s call but they didn’t receive any calls… AniSou came from kitchen bringing a tray of cups…
Annika: You all never had anything since last afternoon… Please have this coffee first…
Soumya: The breakfast will be ready in a while…
Sid: Thanks, Annika, Soumya… Give this to the girls first… I’ll have it later… (AniSou go and give the coffee to the girls but they refuse to have it…)
Tia: No, Annika… We don’t want to have anything… I don’t know if the kidnappers gave food to Ishu baby or not… How we want to eat without knowing about her?? (Annika feels bad and hugs Tia)
Mithra: Dadaji once told us that when Ishu was with her biological father, he won’t feed her… Many days she had been slept with empty stomach…
Nivi: So, to fill up her hunger, Ishu will go to her neighbours house and do some house work for them… They will give her food in return… (ShiRu are coming with Omkara from Ishana’s room towards the hall… They stop listening to NiTiMi conversation with Annika)
Tia: Since then, we never let her to feel hungry… We will feed her before she asked for food…
Nivi: In fact, my interest in cooking because of Ishu only… I don’t want my sister to starve for food… But, now…. (Cries… Annika just hugs three of them)
ShiOmRu clenched their fists in anger thinking that they unable to do anything to find Ishana… SidArRanRaDuKa too feeling the same…
Arjun: (angrily) Enough!! I can’t wait anymore… I want to go and find Ishu at any cost…
Savi: Where you want to find her, Arjun??
Arjun: I don’t know where and how… But, I don’t want to sit here anymore without doing anything… (Turns to leave)
Raghav: I think Arjun us right… No point we are sitting here waiting for the call… We are waiting since yesterday but no one called… It’s better if we go and search for Ishu…
Sid: Ok… But, not everyone… I and Ranveer will be staying here… Who knows if the kidnapper call us…
Shivaay: Om, you stay here as well… I and Rudra will go with them… (Omkara is about to say something but Shivaay stops him) Please, Om… Listen to me… (Omkara agrees)
ArRaDuKa about to leave with ShiRu but suddenly someone throws a parcel from outside Raichand Mansion and run away from there…
Shivaay: (screams) Hey!! Stop!!! (RaDuKa chase the person but the person already escaped… RaDuKa sigh in frustration and go back to Raichand Mansion in anger)
Karan: He has escaped…
Raghav: Have you open the parcel??
Shivaay: Not yet… (He opens the parcel and sees a CD inside it) CD??
Dush: He must have sent anything regarding the kidnap… Let’s watch it… (All go inside the house… Shivaay plays the CD in Arjun’s laptop… They see Ishana being blindfolded and her hands and legs has been tied… She is lying unconsciously on the floor… Some finger prints can be seen on her cheek… They understood that Ishana has been tortured by the kidnappers… All feel bad looking at her condition… Shivaay is about to stop the video but they heard a voice…)
Voice: You all have seen her state and you must understand that I can go to any extent to get what I want… Don’t try to be smart… I know none of you sleep last night waiting for my call… But, that is what I want… I want to know how precious is she to you all… This is just the beginning… If you don’t give me what I want, her condition will be more terrible… I will tell you what I want the next time… Don’t try to act smart if you want her to be alive… Just wait… (The video ends… All the guys stood in anger)
Arjun: How dare he?? We never laid our hand on our sister… But, he hit my sister like this… If I get him, that will be the last day for him… (NiTiMi calm him even though they are angry as well… PriVeer calm Karthik who is ready to go and attack the person seeing his Ishu maa’s state…)
Swetlana: (cries) Poor girl… Her old wounds are still not recovered yet… Now, she has been beaten up like this… What kind of a human are them?? Hitting a girl mercilessly… (Siddharth hugs her) If they want to harm anyone, why they didn’t harm me?? Why again Ishu should be the victim?? I can’t see her like this…
Madhu felt dizzy and almost fell down but Ranveer who was standing beside her held her…
Ranveer: (pats her cheek) Madhu, are you alright??
Madhu: Yes, bhaiya… I’m fine… I didn’t sleep last night… That’s why I felt dizzy… (He makes her to sit on the sofa and about to move but his watch stucked with her bracelet… He takes out his watch from the bracelet… He is about to move but he remembers something and turns towards her… He took her hand and looks at it…)
Ranveer: Madhu, I gave this to you, right?? (Madhu nods her head) Swetlana, show me your hand… (Swetlana extends her hand) Why I didn’t think about this before?? (All look at him in confuse)
Shivaay: What are you saying, Ranveer??
Ranveer: (shows Madhu’s hand) This watch…
Dush: What is there in the watch??
Ranveer: After all of you went from Mumbai, I gave three of them this watch which I fixed GPS tracker inside them… Swetlana and Madhu still wearing it… I hope Ishu is wearing it too…
Om: Then, why are we waiting for?? Let’s go and find her… (Ranveer on his mobile and tries to track her… All the guys started to leave but Ranveer stops midway) What happened, Ranveer??
Ranveer: Oberoi Mansion??
All: What??
Ranveer: It’s showing Oberoi Mansion…
Rudra: How is that possible?? Bhabhi in Oberoi Mansion??
Raghav: Did anyone saw her wearing the watch?? (All shakes their head in negative)
Madhu: Bhaiya, just go and check first…
Dush: But, Madhu… Oberoi Mansion….
Prinku: Madhu is right… Just go and check first… If we can’t find bhabhi, we can get the watch… (The guys just nod and leave to Oberoi Mansion)
UNKNOWN PLACE
The man sprinkles some water on Ishana’s face… She gain consciousness and moves a little… He pulls her hair mercilessly and makes her to sit… He untie the cloth which is blindfolding her eyes… Ishana’s vision is blur because she had been blindfolded since yesterday… She closed and open her eyes for few times… She looks at the person who is sitting on the chair in front of her… She can’t see his face because he is wearing a mask…
Man:How are you wild cat??
Ishu: Who are you fraidy- cat??
Man: Not bad… You are manage to stay strong to fight with me even though I made you starve since yesterday… I’m impressed… But, you will continue to starve if you don’t do what I want…
Ishu: Starvation is not new for me… I won’t fall weak just because of not having food… I’m not going to do anything that you ask… Just do whatever you want… (The man is about to slap her) What else you will do?? You only can hit me or making me starve… Or more than that, you only can kill me… I’m not going to afraid with this… (He slaps her)
Man: (pulls her hair) If you think that your family will save you, better stop dreaming like that… They can’t find you easily because no one can find this place… They will search everywhere around the world… But, they will not find this place…
Ishu: (smirks) You stop dreaming like this… You don’t know about my brothers and jijus… And, now the Oberois with them too… Touching me is like placing your hand on high voltage of power… Just see the number of shocks that you will be receiving… (The man got angry and slaps her hard)
Man: I hate this attitude of yours… This many confidence on your family?? But, they will not able to find you…
Ishu: No!! They will definitely find me…
Man: Fine… I give you 24 hours time… If they able to find you, I will accept my defeat and surrender myself… How if they couldn’t find you??
Ishu: I will do whatever you asked…
Man: Sure?? (Ishana nods her head) Ok… See you tomorrow… You don’t want food, right?? Stay in hunger for today as well… (The man leaves)
Ishana sees the man left and cries badly…
Ishu: (cries in her heart) Bhaiya, jijus, please save me fast… I’m just pretending to be brave in front of him… I’m very scared to be here… Please find me fast… (Cries and lies on the floor)
OBEROI MANSION
ShiOmRu and ArSidRanRaDuKa reached there and follow the GPS… Ranveer stops at Omkara’s room and sees his mobile blinking… They open the door and see no one there… They split themselves and search separately except Ranveer… He feels something fishy… He again goes inside the room…
Ranveer: Strange!! Why it is indicating that Ishu is here when no one is here?? (Thinks a while) Maybe she missed her watch here… If like that means, her watch must be here… (Searches for the watch all over the room but he couldn’t find the watch) It’s so weird… My mobile still indicating that the tracker is here… But, Ishu is not here as well as the watch… Then, why it’s showing like this?? (He leaves the room in confuse)
ShiOmRu and SidArRaDuKa search all over the mansion but they couldn’t find Ishana anywhere… They go to living room and see Ranveer in deep thought…
Sid: What happened, Ranveer??
Ranveer: I think something problem with the tracker… It shows Omkara’s room but no one is there…
Karan: Maybe the watch has been fell down when Ishu came here…
Om: But the watch must be there if it happened like you said… But, Ranveer couldn’t find the watch there…
Rudra: I think the tracker must be damaged when the chandelier fell on bhabhi… That’s why it’s showing the same place…
Ranveer: But, why it should show Om’s room?? The accident happened in this hall…
Raghav: Or maybe the tracker was damaged before the accident… Ishu might went to Om’s room that time and that’s why it’s showing Om’s room only…
Arjun: I think Raghav is right… If the tracker is working fine, Ishu must be at his room only… She is not there… That means the tracker is not working…
Sid: (sighs) Everything went waste… I thought we can find our Ishu… But, we failed again…
Shivaay: (hugs Siddharth shoulder) Don’t worry, Siddharth… We will find her… Let’s go back first… The kidnapper said he will tell us what we have to do… It’s better if we go now… (Looks at Omkara who is standing heartbroken… Shivaay goes and hugs him…) Let’s go, Om… (All leave from there)
