CHAPTER 105
Ishana’s pregnancy make has made both families happy… She, Annika and Swetlana have been pampered by everyone… Few weeks later, Soumya too get pregnant… Oberoi Mansion has filled with happiness again… Rudra becomes very happy that he is going to become a father and chachu at the same time… ShivOmRu take care of their wives carefully… They handle their mood swings patiently… However, in Swetlana’s case, Arjun will be the victim for her mood swings… Her cravings will be on middle of the night only… She will go to Arjun’s room and ask him to take her for ice cream or golgappe…
Arjun: Bhabhi, why you don’t ask bhaiya to take you?? You always ruining my sleep…
Swet: (with a cute puppy face) If he takes me and we couldn’t find what we want, he will say that he will get them tomorrow… I too can’t disobey him and will agree with him… (Changes her tone) But, if I take you, I will slap your head and will ask you to take me till we find what I want… (Arjun looks at her shockingly…) Now, the same will happen if you don’t come with me… (Pulls his collar and drags him from there…)
On the other side, Omkara find it difficult to handle Ishana’s mood swings which he couldn’t understand the reason… Sometimes, she won’t talk to him and will distance herself from him… He thinks that her pregnancy made her to behave like this and won’t disturb her… One day, he returns from his art gallery and goes to his room… He sees her crying sitting on the bed… He feels worried and goes towards her…
Om: (holds her face) What happened, Ishana?? Are you feeling any pain?? (Touches her stomach)
Ishu: (sobs) No… Nothing like that…
Om: Then, why are you crying?? I’m noticing you these days, you are looking disturbed… Tell me, Ishana… What is bothering you?? You are not even talking to me properly… Did I do anything wrong??
Ishu: You can’t do anything wrong, Omkara… I’m the one…… (Cries again…)
Om: (holds her face) Don’t cry… Tell me…
Ishu: You won’t mistake me, right?? You won’t think cheap about me, right??
Om: (confused) Cheap?? Tell me clearly, Ishana…
Ishu: I’m craving…… (Omkara sighs in relief)
Om: Craving?? (Ishana nods… He chuckles…) Why I want to mistake you if you are craving?? This is normal in this situation… Ok… Tell me what are you craving for?? I will get it for you… (Ishana keeps quiet) Golgappe?? (Ishana shakes her head) Phav bhaji?? (Again she shakes) Bhel puri?? (Again she shakes) Idli?? Dhosa??
Ishu: Not that…
Om: Then what??
Ishu: You…
Om: What??
Ishu: You… (Cries) I’m craving for you only… I’m craving for your touch!! I’m craving for your love!! I’m craving for your kiss!! I’m craving to be loved by you… (Cries like a kid… Omkara is surprised listening to her craving… He never thought that she is having this type of craving… He has read that during pregnancy, the wife will be aroused easily because of their hormones… He mentally cursed himself for not understanding her feelings… Ishana sees him not saying anything…) You must thinking that I’m getting shameless saying like this to you…. That’s why I kept quiet and stayed away from you… (Moves away from him…)
Om: (pulls her closer) You don’t have to feel shame, ok?? I’m your husband and you are having rights on me… I’m an idiot to think you are distancing from me because of your mood swing… (Shakes her face gently) I made my poor wife upset… (Smirks) Since when you are craving for me??
Ishu: Three days…
Om: (smiles) We will make it up for that three days… (Ishana smiles shyly… Omkara is about to kiss her but she stops him…)
Ishu: Not here…
Om: (confused) Then??
Ishu: At the place where we started our life for the first time… (Omkara understands her and takes her to the secret passage…)
IshKara are lying on the bed after their passionate love making… Ishana is placing her head on Omkara’s chest listening to his heartbeats while Omkara is playing with her hair…
Om: Are you feeling any pain??
Ishu: (smiles) You are still asking the same question even after we had made love plenty of times… (Omkara smiles and hugs her)
Om: You are having check up tomorrow… Still remember?? (Ishana gets up from him)
Ishu: Of course I remember… We are going to have sonography test tomorrow… We can see our baby growth… (Grins happily)
Omkara gets up and pulls up the sheet above her chest which has fell just now…
Om: Please control your excitement or we will end up having another session here…
Ishu: I don’t mind…
Om: But, I mind… I don’t want to make my darling wife tired again… Save some energy for tomorrow too… (She just smiles and lies on his chest again…)
CITY HOSPITAL
IshKara have went for Ishana’s check up and did the sonography test for her… They are shocked watching the screen… Ishana adjusts her saree and gets up from the bed… IshKara follow the doctor to her cabin…
Doctor’s Cabin
Doc: Mrs Oberoi, you have to be very careful after this… You need to take food and medicines on time… And you need proper rest as well… (Ishana nods) Mr Oberoi, you too need to pay more attention on her… She is too thin some more and weak too… Don’t let her stress herself in this condition and her emotional can be unstable sometimes… You need to handle all her mood swings and cravings patiently… (Omkara chuckles and nods) Why are you smiling?? Don’t say she didn’t crave for anything till now??
Ishu: Doctor, I always craving for him only… (Omkara is shocked listening her answer to the doctor while the doctor just laughs… Ishana realised what she said and bits her tongue feeling embarrassed…)
Doc: You love your husband very much, right that you always thinking about him?? (Ishana just smiles shyly looking at down…) So cute…
Ishu: He is the one has occupied my heart and mind that I can’t think anything than him… (Looking at Omkara and caresses his hair) His loose hair and drug filled eyes making me to fall for him everyday… (Omkara is again surprised with her reply… Ishana too realised what she said and looks at them nervously…)
Doc: Don’t worry, both of you… I already told you… This is one of the symptom… It’s normal… (Gives the sonography test document to Omkara… IshKara leave from there…)
OBEROI MANSION
Shivaay is feeding Annika her favourite aloo poori… Soumya is sitting lost in her thought making Rudra confused…
Rudra: What happened, my love angel?? I could see you are thinking something…
Soumya: Woh….. Rudra, I suddenly feel like to have your protein shake… (Hugs his neck) Will you make it for me??
Rudra: (shocked) What?? (Burst into laughter…) Seriously, Soumya?? Protein shake?? (Soumya stares at him… He stops laughing…) But, you don’t like it right??
Soumya: (chokes his neck with her both hands) But, I feel to have it now… Go and make it for me or I will drink your blood!!!
Rudra: (holds her hands) Ok… Ok… I will go and make it for you… Please don’t turn into love devil…
Soumya: Rudra!!!??
Rudra: I’m going!!! (Runs towards kitchen… ShivIka laugh seeing them…)
Soumya: (looks at them with puppy face) Don’t laugh, bade bhaiya, bhabhi… These days I always feel to have whatever I don’t like before this… I don’t know why I’m feeling like this… (Scratching her head…)
Shivaay: It’s normal, Soumya… In fact, Annika to felt to have Americano few days ago… Sometimes, she will feel to have pasta too… (Annika nods at her…) So, don’t worry…
Soumya: But bade bhaiya, I have never seen Ishu bhabhi craving like this… Or she hides her cravings??
Annika: Yes, Soumya… I too have the same doubt as you… I never seen Om bring any food for her because of her craving…
Shivaay: Really?? Ok… I will try to ask him after they returned from the hospital… Soumya, when is your check up??
Soumya: Next week, bhaiya… (Shivaay nods at her… Rudra comes bringing a glass of protein shake… Soumya grins happily…) Protein shake!!?? (Snatch the glass from him…) Thank you so much, Rudra… You are the world’s best husband… (Kisses his cheek and drinks the protein shake… She coughs and Rudra pats her back…)
Rudra: Drink slowly, Soumya… No need to hurry… (Soumya nods like a kid and drinks it slowly… The elders just came there and shake their heads seeing them…)
IshKara return from the hospital and walk towards their family…
Shivaay: Hey, Om… Both of you have come… So, how was the check up?? Is everything alright??
Om: Yeah, it’s good!!!
Annika: You had sonography test right, today?? (Ishana nods) Did you see your baby?? How is it?? (Ishana blushes)
Om: Our babies are fine, bhabhi…
Kalyani: That’s good…
Rudra: One minute!! What did you say?? Babies??? (Omkara nods hugging Ishana’s arm…)
Tej: So, you are going to have twins?? It’s really great news… (All smile happily)
Om: No, papa… Not twins… (All look at him in confuse) We are going to have triplets…
All: (surprised) Triplets??
Shivaay: That’s really amazing!! (Hugs IshKara) You both are going to have triple happiness!! I’m really very happy!!
Rudra: O, I am really proud of you… In one year, you are going to be a father for three babies…
Annika: Ishu, say what you feel to have now… Shivaay will make them for you… (Ishana looks at Omkara who understands what she wants now and he just smiles turning from her…) Tell us, Ishu…
Ishu: Whatever, Annika di… I love all the dishes made by Shivaay bhaiya…
Annika: (whispers) Do you want to be with your long hair husband now?? (Ishana nods shyly…) I can understand… (Towards Omkara) Om, I think Ishu is tired… Take her to the room and let her rest for some time…
Kalyani: Tej, call and inform Raichands about this good news… All of them will be very happy… (Tej nods and takes his mobile)
IshKara Room
Ishana hugs Omkara when they enter the room…
Om: Your romantic mood has started I think…
Ishu: I am very happy, Omkara… We are going to have triplets… (Omkara lifts her and makes her lie on the bed… He moves he saree pallu and caresses her tummy gently… She shivers with his touch…)
Om: See, you were worried that you can’t get pregnant… Now, you are carrying three babies in your womb… (Places his ear on her tummy…) Hey, babies!! I’m your papa here… Thank you very much for making me your papa… I and your mamma are waiting for the day you three to arrive in this world… I’m having a small request… Please don’t trouble your mamma a lot because the doctor said she is very weak… You three know right, how skinny is your mamma?? (Ishana slaps his arm…) I hope you three will understand… We can trouble her a lot after you three arrived to this world… (Ishana chuckles hearing him… Omkara kisses her tummy deeply and lifts his face from there… He moves towards her face and sees her eyes are holding tears inside them… He kisses her both eyes and wipes the tears… He pecks her lips gently at first and soon it turns to passionate one…)
Months are passing, everyone pamper the four pregnant ladies with their love and care… Godh barai has been done for AniSwet first… Then, they do for IshSou… The guys are very careful in handling their wives mood swings… Swetlana delivered a baby boy and Annika delivered a baby girl… Oberois and Raichands are happy to get the first heir for their family…
Ishana is on her ninth months of pregnancy… Omkara handles her with more care… He always tied up his hair which Ishana doesn’t like at all… He knows his wife love to see him with loose hair and he knows where this will lead them… He can’t take risk in this stage because it can harm her and their babies too… He will just hug her and kisses her forehead most of the time…
The day has come and Ishana has her labor pain… She has been taken to the hospital… She is very adamant to have normal delivery when everyone asked her to have caesarian…
Doc: Mrs Oberoi, please understand… It’s not easy for normal delivery for three babies… You will be more weak…
Ishu: No, doctor… I won’t be weak if my husband is beside me… He is my strength… I can give normal birth for my babies… I don’t want caesarian… (The doctors agree hesitatingly…)
Omkara enters the labor ward and stands beside Ishana… He holds Ishana’s hand and looks at her with tear filled eyes… Ishana is crying in pain to give birth for her babies…
Om: Ishana, be strong… You said I’m your strength, right?? See I’m beside you… We will together welcome our babies to the world…
Ishu: But I will be weak if I see your tears… Please don’t cry… (Omkara wipes his tears)
Om: Ok… I’m not crying… (Kisses her forehead) Be strong…
Doc: Mrs Oberoi, be ready… When I said push, you use your full strength and push the baby… (Ishana nods weakly… Omkara feels bad to see her struggling like this… He always thought to not to give pain for her but still he gave pain to her… He caresses her face and she just smiles weakly at him kissing his hand… Suddenly, she screams feeling unbearable pain…) Push!!! (Ishana holds Omkara’s hand tightly and pushes the baby using her full strength… They hear a baby’s cry… IshKara smile in relief… Although Ishana feels weak but hearing her baby’s cry making her to feel relief…) It’s baby boy… (The doctor is about to cut the umbilical cord…)
Ishu: (weakly) Doctor, please let my husband to cut my babies umbilical cord…
Doc: Sure, Mrs Oberoi… (Ishana signs Omkara to go and he goes and cut the umbilical cord for their baby… The doctor places the baby on Omkara’s hand… Omkara smiles looking at the baby…)
Om: Welcome to the world, baby… (He goes towards Ishana and shows the baby… Ishana gently caresses the baby’s head and kisses it… Omkara makes her to hug the baby to her chest to make it to feel mother’s heartbeats… The nurse take the baby from them and bring from there…)
Outside the ward
The Oberois and Raichands are nervously waiting outside the ward… AniSwet too came with their babies even though the have been asked to stay back at home… Soumya too very much adamant to come without listening to anyone words… All smile in relief when they heard baby’s cry from the ward… The nurse come out bringing the baby… All go towards the nurse…
Nurse: It’s a boy…
Annika: He is so cute…
Rudra: He looks like O… Baby, don’t speak poetry like your papa which we don’t understand…
Pinky: Don’t grows long hairs like your papa too… (All laugh)
Tia: My Ishu baby got a baby…
Jhanvi: Next is your turn too, Tia baby… (Pulls her cheek)
Shakti: Not only her, other girls too…
Shivaay: Prinku, you as well…
Priyanka: (slaps his arm) Bhaiya!! (Blushes)
Nurse: The baby need to cleaned properly… You can see him later… (All nod and the nurse leave with the baby…)
Labor Ward
Doc: Another two need to come, Mr and Mrs Oberoi… (IshKara nod… Ishana started to feel pain again… Omkara continue holding her hand and hugging her shoulder…) Push!! (Ishana again pushes the baby… Baby’s cry again heard in the room… IshKara smile in relief…) It’s baby girl… (IshKara smile at the doctor… Ishana is completely exhausted but she still gathers her strength for her another baby… Omkara goes and cuts the umbilical cord for the baby… He lifts the baby and goes to Ishana… Ishana hugs the baby towards her chest… The nurse takes the baby from there…) Mrs Oberoi, don’t fall weak… Gather all your strength… (Ishana nods in tears… Omkara could see she is very much exhausted but he knows his wife’s mental strength… She is the person who won’t give up easily… He wipes her sweats which formed on her forehead… He kisses her forehead and hugs her shoulder… Ishana screams again…) Push!! (Ishana pushes again and falls on the bed holding Omkara’s arm tightly… Baby’s cry heard again and Omkara is completely relief… He looks at Ishana who is lying weakly looking at him… He pecks her lips and goes towards the doctor…) It’s girl again… (IshKara smile at each other… Omkara cuts the umbilical cord for the baby and lifts her from the doctor… He goes towards Ishana and lifts her a bit… He makes Ishana to hug the baby to her chest… Then, he gives the baby to the nurse and she takes the baby from there… Omkara hugs Ishana…)
Om: (cries) I’m sorry, Ishana… You suffered this much because of me… (Kisses all over her face…)
Ishu: (weakly) Why are you blaming yourself?? We need to struggle and suffer a little if we want to get our happiness… See we got three babies…
Om: But, I have to struggle and suffer too right?? Only you are the one faced them and I was watching you helplessly…
Ishu: Who said that I’m the one faced them here?? You suffered more than me… You were dying every minute seeing me like that… (Omkara kisses her lips…)
Om: I love you, Ishana…
Ishu: I love…… (She started to breath heavily… Omkara and the doctors are shocked to see her like that… Her face is getting pale and she falls on the bed closing her eyes…)
Om: (screams) ISHANA!!!
