A big thank you to all my readers.. Your comments are really encouraging me.. I’m sorry for not mentioning your names today.. I’m in a rush now.. I promised to upload on Saturday.. But, I think by the time this chapter got published, it will be Sunday.. Today’s chapter more on Oberois and Raichands meet.. It might be boring.. I want to show a good bond developed between them.. It’s needed for this ff.. So, please bear with this.. I promise there will be more twist and turns in upcoming chapters..

Let’s go to today’s chapter.. Please ignore the grammatical errors..

CHAPTER 6a
The award function starts with the host giving welcoming speech to all the guests arrived.. After few performances, the awards are started to be given to the winners.. Finally, Shivaay Singh Oberoi is invited to the stage to hand over the ‘Businessman of the Year’ award.. Shivaay goes to the stage.. He takes the microphone..

Shivaay: The award for the ‘Best Businessman of the Year’ goes to Mr Arjun from Chennai..(all the guests give a big applause for him)
Arjun get up from his place and hugs his family.. He walks to the stage proudly.. Shivaay hand over the award to Arjun and he happily receives it.. Arjun looks at his beloved family who are cheering for him.. His eyes are filled with happy tears seeing his family cheering for him.. Shivaay pats Arjun’s back and Arjun just smiles nodding his head.. The host asked Arjun to speak few words.. Arjun takes the mike from him while Shivaay stands beside him..
Arjun: Good evening, everyone.. First of all thank you for giving me this award..

I never expect that I will get this award because there are so many experienced and expert businessman while I’m still new in this field.. (stops a while) I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people who are behind my success.. Without them, I might not be standing here receiving this award from the greatest business tycoon Shivaay Singh Oberoi’s hand… And I may not reach this height this soon.. They all being my back bone in each and every steps that I took in my life.. (stopped a while) But, before I thank them, I would like to reveal few things about myself.. You all know me as Arjun and thought that ‘AR’ in AR Industries stand for the first two letters in my name.. But the truth is AR stands for my full name, ARJUN RAICHAND.. (All got surprised.. Some guests started to talk among themselves.. Shivaay to got surprised with him but he never shows)
Arjun: Please, calm down.. There are more for me to reveal.. My father was Harish Raichand and my grandfather was Yashvardhan Raichand, sole owner of RAICHAND INDUSTRIES, the most leading business tycoon years ago.. (another shock for the guests sitting down there including the Oberois..)
Pinky: Oh, my maata!! He is Yash uncles grandson!!??
Sakthi: That is why Savitri aunty is here.. Now, I understand..

Arjun: Now, enough of my revelation of my surname.. First of all, I would like to thank my grandma Mrs Savitri Raichand.. As a single woman, she raised me and my siblings after the death of our parents and grandpa.. She took us away from Mumbai to start a fresh life without anyone’s help.. If she didn’t take us with her, I might not become a successful person.. Not only me.. My brother and sisters too will not succeed in their life.. We are really glad to have her in our life.. Love you, daadima..(he looks at Savitri with teary eyes) Next, I would like to thank my brother, Siddharth Raichand.. He is the eldest among us but he did a duty of a father to raise us after our parents death.. Love you, bhaiya.. You are the world’s best brother..

Next, my lovely angels, my sisters, Nivedha, Tia, Mithra and Ishana.. They are the pillar of support for my success.. Whenever I returned home in failure, my sisters will encourage me by saying these failures are the steps for me to reach success.. They are right.. If I didn’t face any failure before, I will not reach this success.. Thank you, my angels.. This award is for you.. Love you all, sweethearts.. I need all your support forever.. Next, my bhabhi, Mrs. Siddharth Raichand, who take care of us like a mother and always bear our teasing.. My brother in laws, Raghav, Dushyanth and Karan who are the strength of our family.. Madhu, my another sister, a part of our family.. And, last but not the least my friends, one is not here.. But, they too are behind my success.. Without them, I’m nothing.. I love you all, my family.. (All the guests clap their hands)
Arjun: Sorry for giving this long speech.. But, this is what hidden in my heart and I waited for this moment to express it in front of everyone.. Thank you very much for listening to me and for this award too.. (he ends his speech and walks down from the stage followed by Shivaay.. Both of them walk to their respective tables)
IshNiTiMiMa hug Arjun after he reaches his table.. Arjun kisses their foreheads one by one.. Arjun give the award to Savitri and take her blessing..

Dinner are being served to the guests while some performances are going on the stage.. They finished their dinner and sit at their table looking at Arjun.. Arjun gives questioning look to them..
Tia: What are we waiting for, bhaiya?? Let’s go back..
Arjun: Ok.. Let’s move.. (gets up from his seat)
Savitri: Wait.. I want to introduce some important people to you all..
Sid: (confused) Who is that, daadi??
Savitri: You will know in a while.. Before that, Ranveer, I left my medicines in the car.. Can you get it for me??

Ranveer: Sure, daadi.. I’ll go and get it.. (turns to go)
Savitri: Take Swetlana with you.. She only knows the medicines..
Swet: Ok, daadi.. I’ll go with him.. Ranveer, let’s go.. (Both of them leave from there)
Arjun: Daadi, can we go and meet them?? I want to know who are the important people..
Sid: Right.. We didn’t know that you know someone in Mumbai..
Daadi: (smiles) Today, I also will do some revelation.. Let’s go to them now.. They must be waiting for us.. (she starts to walk while the youngsters give confusing look each other.. They too walk following Savitri..)

At Fountain
The Oberois are waiting for Savitri while admiring the flowing water.. Savitri walks towards them.. All of them are shocked to see the Oberois.. They didn’t expect that Savitri will take them to meet the Oberois.. Somehow, they managed to hide their shock expression with their smile..
Savitri: Sorry, we are late..
Kalyani: No problem.. We just came here.. Nice to meet you all..(smiles at them) Savitri, these are your grandchildren?? They become handsome men and beautiful ladies now.. Last time when I saw them, they were still small.. I don’t think they still remember me..
Savitri: (looking at her grandchildren) Actually, we were family friends years ago.. But, we were not in touch after we all left from Mumbai.. (another shock for the Raichands)
Sid(to Kalyani): We are sorry for not remembering you..
Kalyani: You don’t have to be sorry, dear.. It’s not a problem.. Now, again we introduce ourselves.. This is my family.. (She introduces TejVi and ShaNky) He is my eldest grandson, Shivaay..

Savitri: These are my grandsons Siddharth and Arjun.. (both go and take blessings from the elders.. They walk back to Savitri)
Shivaay: (takes Savitri’s blessings and walks to Kalyani) Daadi, you be relax.. I’ll introduce our family to them..
Arjun: Daadi, you didn’t tell us before..
Savitri: Like you are waiting for a right time to reveal your surname, I too was waiting for the right time to say about this.. And, now you introduce our family members to them..
Shivaay and Arjun greet each other and have a handshake.. Shivaay introduces Annika.. While Arjun introduces NiTiMi and RaDuKa..
Annika: (looks at NiTiMi and RaDuKa) Actually, we saw you at shopping mall’s cafe yesterday..
Nivi: Aww..We were waiting for our husbands to finish their shopping..
Saumya: Your husbands spend more time for shopping than you??
Raghav: That is because we were selecting for them..

Dush: Right.. There were so many choices till we got confuse which one to choose..
Tia: So, now you understand why girls spend more time for shopping?? (The guys agree while others are laughing)
When they introduce Ishana and Omkara, Ishkara share an eyelock which never go unnoticed by all the youngsters.. They could feel that Ishkara are having some kind of connection but they ignore the feeling.. Ishkara break their eyelock and give a small smile each other.. Shivaay turns to Rudra..
Shivaay: This is my youngest brother… (interrupted by Ishana)
Ishu: Rudraa… Rudraa Singh Oberoi.. Right!!?? (excitingly)
Rudra: Right, Ms Ishana.. Just Ishana.. (they give hi five each other)
The Oberois look at Rudra confusingly because this is the first time someone pronounce his name as Rudraa and Rudra doesn’t say anything..
Shivaay: Yeah.. My brother, Rudra (Shivaay introduces again)
Ishana: That is what I’m saying.. Rudraa..
Arjun: Ishu, it’s Rudra.. Not Rudraa.. OK??

Ishu: (pouts) Rudraa..
Arjun: Not aaa.. Rudra.. It’s simple.. Rudra.. Say it.. (All chuckles looking at Ishana)
Rudra: It’s ok, Arjun bhaiya.. She can call me as she wants..
Shivaay: So, both of you know each earlier?? (Looking at Ishana and Rudra)
Ishu: Yes.. He is my saviour.. He saved me from falling down just now.. (Rudra give a proud expression to his family while they give him unbelievable look)
Rudra (hugs Soumya’s shoulder): My wife, Soumya..(Soumya greets at them)
Ishu: Woww!! She is so pretty.. Now I understand why you left your flirting nature..(Rudra smiles at Ishana)

Shivaay introduces Priyanka and Arjun introduces Madhu.. Both of them greet the families.. Priyanka looks at Madhu and thinks a while..
Priyanka (whispers to Om): Bhaiya, this is the girl I saw with Ranveer yesterday..
Om (got shock): Prinku, are you sure?? (whispering)
Prinku: (still whispering) Yes, bhaiya.. I saw both of them hugging..
Om: Just now, I saw Swetlana with Ranveer.. (confused)
Prinku: What!?? She is here too?? (scared) Bhaiya, are they together planning against our family??
Om: Relax, Prinku.. Nothing will happen.. Trust me..
At this side, Ishana whispering to Madhu..

Ishu: If I’m not mistaken, this girl is Ranveer ‘s ex girlfriend..
Madhu: Really?? She is looking so pretty and innocent.. No one will feel to take revenge on her.. But how Ranveer bhaiya could do it to her??
Ishana doesn’t have answer for her question.. She just smiles looking at Madhu..
Shivaay: (to OmPri) What both of you are whispering secretly?? (Om shakes his head in negative)
Arjun: (to IshMa) Yeah!! Both of you too are whispering something.. Anything interesting?? (IshMa too shake their heads in negative)
The elder Oberois involve talking with Savitri while the youngsters are talking and joking among themselves..
Shivaay: Rudra is our youngest brother and the naughtiest too..
Arjun: Youngest always the naughtiest..

Sid: But, in our family these 8 are the most naughtiest.. Always having mischievous plan to pull someone’s leg especially my wife..
Ishu: Anna, you don’t know what is the feel when seeing our bhabhi’s face when we teased her every morning?? She will become red as tomato.. You know, it’s worth watching..
Rudra: Even we too starts our day like this only.. Teasing Shivaay bhaiya and Annika bhabhi..(Ishana and Rudra hi fi and ShivIka blushed.. While the others are laughing..)
Shivaay:(to Siddharth) It’s very hard to become an elder brother..(Siddharth agrees) My situation is better than you.. I need to face 4 people only but you need to face 8 people.. I’m really feeling sorry for you..(gave a teasing smile)
Siddharth: It’s 10 actually.. One is not here and another one went with my wife to get Daadi’s medicine..
Annika: You!!?? (Shouts seeing someone)

Precap: The Oberois meet Swetlana and Ranveer.. Ishana asked something to Omkara but he refused.. Madhu collapsed..
