CHAPTER 4b
Night at Oberoi Mansion
Priyanka is in her room thinking of her meet with Ranveer at the shopping mall and how he dropped her after seeing her and ran away from her.. Unknowingly a smile appears on her face.. But, her smile vanished when flashes of seeing him hugging another girl came into her thought.. She doesn’t know why, but she didn’t like seeing him hugging another girl.. She thinks what does she care if he hugged another girl??
Om sees Priyanka lost in her thought.. He came and sit beside her..
Om: What are you thinking, Prinku??
Prinku: (back to her senses) Bhaiya!! (Thought a while) I saw Ranveer today at mall..
Om: (shocked) What?? He is still here?? I thought he went away from Mumbai 2 years ago..
Prinku: I also thought like that but he is here..
Om: (worriedly) Did he troubled you again??
Prinku: (shakes her head negatively) No, bhaiya.. But, his behavior today is quite different..
Om: (confused) What do you mean??
Prinku:(with excitement) Yes, bhaiya.. Ranveer that we saw before is rude, arrogant, fierce and he will not even smile.. But, today he got afraid seeing me and just run away escaping from me..
Om: (surprised) Really??? Ranveer ran away from you?? I can’t believe it.. Is he alone??
Prinku: Nope.. I saw him hugging a girl.. (in jealous tone which noticed by Om)
Om: Prinku, do you still love him??
Prinku (smiles sadly): Love?? It dies when he said that he pretends to love me just to take revenge on both of us for killing his sister..(tears are coming out from her eyes)
Om: (wipes her tears) I’m sorry, Prinku.. It’s because of me..
Prinku: (stopped him from continue) No, bhaiya.. It’s called Karma..(Om looks at her confused) Do you remember, bhaiya??
Few years back, our family humiliated an innocent person and throw him and his family out of our house..(cries in guilt)
Om:(thought about Priyanka’s first alliance) That guy who came for your alliance.. I still remember.. He is very good and soft nature.. I liked him too.. But, Shivaay and Mr. Oberoi rejected him because he is illegitimate son of Mr Chabra..
Prinku: Yes, bhaiya.. Whatever we did to him is very bad.. Now, I’m like this not because of Ranveer.. It’s because we hurt the poor guy.. I still can’t forget his eyes that were pleading at us to listen to him..(sobbing.. Om hugs her) After I got to know Ranveer, I slowly came out from Dev’s thought.. I started to love him truly even though he always harsh with me.. I will pacify myself saying which brother will keep quiet if his sister died because of them.. I took all his hatred.. I thought he loves me truly even though he always mistreat me.. I felt that I can change him with my love but he cheated me.. He just pretend to love me..( cries badly)
Om just hugs his sister tightly.. He didn’t think that Priyanka kept this much of pain in her heart.. He thought he is the only one suffering in pain.. But his pain knew by everyone.. No one knew his sister’s pain.. She hides them in her heart and try to make him happy every time.. And this is the first time Priyanka speaks without stammering..
Om cups her face and kisses her forehead..
Om: Prinku, I’m sorry.. I didn’t understand your pain.. I promise you, Prinku that I will find Dev and bring him.. We all will apologize from him..
Prinku: Really, bhaiya??
Om: It’s my promise..
ShiRu: It’s our promise..
OmPri looked at their brothers standing there with Annika and Soumya.. ShiRu go and hug their sister..
Shivaay: I’m sorry, Prinku.. I was out of my mind that time and I insulted him.. I gave importance for blood, surname, and background than a person’s character.. I promise you, I’ll search for him every corner of the world and bring him in front of you.. This is your brothers promise..
Rudra: Yes, Prinku..(jokingly) And I’ll ask him to marry you..
ShiOm: Shut up, rudra..
Om: We want to apologize from him not asking him to marry her..
Shivaay: But, what is wrong in that??
Prinku: I just want to apologize from him.. Nothing else.. And I have no idea to get married..
Om: Prinku, what are you saying??
Prinku: I can’t fall in love once again..
ShiOmRu understand that she still loves Ranveer..
Om: It’s not wrong to fall in love once again, Prinku..
Prinku: Really, bhaiya?? So, will you fall in love once again if you find a nice girl?? (Om got shocked with her question)
Rudra: What are you asking, Prinku?? That too to O??(little angry)
Soumya: What is wrong with her question, Rudra?? Bhaiya only said it’s not wrong to fall in love again.. It’s applicable for him as well..
Rudra: Shut up, Soumya.. Prinku’s situation is different from O.. Prinku fall in love with wrong guy.. But Gauri bhabhi is O’s wife and no one can take her place.. And no one deserves to be his wife than Gauri bhabhi.. I won’t accept anyone to take my Bul Bul bhabhi place.. Moreover, we can’t fall in love again and again.. That is not love.. Love only happens once in our life..
Soumya: Really, Rudra?? He is good or bad but her love is true.. For your information, you are not my first love too.. And I’m not your first love too.. Remember Bhavya?? (Rudra looks at her shocked with her question) Is that means my love for you and your love for me is not true??
Shivaay: Ok.. Just stop you both!! Now, go to your room.. And, don’t continue your fight there.. Rudra, just go and sleep..(RuMya leave to their room)
Shivaay (touches Om’s shoulder): Please don’t be upset with them.. I know you felt bad with whatever Soumya said.. She just wants to see you happy..
Om: (smiles sadly) I know about Soumya well.. She always think practical.. But, not everyone can think like her.. And, I can’t give Gauri’s place to anyone..
Shivika smiles sadly and nod their head..
Om: Shivaay, why you both are here??
Annika: Actually, we came to tell something important but forgot listening you both..
Prinku: What’s the matter, bhabhi??
Annika: Today, Jhanvi aunty and Pinky aunty saw Swetlana at shopping mall.. (OmPri got shocked)
Om: Don’t you feel it weird?? Prinku meets Ranveer and Mom and choti Maa meets Swetlana.. Is that just a coincidence or other than that??
Shivaay: I too think about that.. Don’t worry, Om.. This time they won’t be able to do anything to us.. I’m not going to let them to do it..
Om: I’m with you, Shivaay.. I will not let you to face them alone..(places his hand on Shivaay ‘s hand)
AniPri: We too are with you.. As well as RuMya..(they placed their hands on them)
Shivaay: Now, let’s go and sleep.. (The trio leave from Priyanka’s room)

Rudra: I’m sorry, Soumya.. I was rude to you..
Soumya: Why are you saying sorry, Rudra?? It’s our plan only, right?? You don’t have to be sorry.. I’m sorry too, Rudra.. I brought up Bhavya’s topic..
Rudra: (side hugs Soumya) It’s ok, Soumya.. You didn’t say it intentionally.. It’s for O only, right?? I want O also to lead a happy life like us.. I can’t see him in pain and pretend to be happy in front of us..
Soumya: Don’t worry, Rudra.. Everything will be fine.. Bade baalwale bhaiya will start to think about whatever I said..

Soumya: (cups his face) One day, you will find someone.. That time your heart will recognise her as your bhabhi and unknowingly the word ‘bhabhi’ will come from your mouth.. Then, you will realise she is the one for ‘bade baalwale bhaiya’..
Rudra (chuckles): Let’s see.. Now, go and sleep.. I’ll switch off the light.. (Soumya goes and lies on the bed)
Rudra: (looks on at Soumya and thinks) You are wrong, Soumya.. Bhavya is not my first love.. You are the one and only my first love.. My ego didn’t let me to accept my feelings for you.. But, I promise, I will say it to you after O get his lost happiness back..
Soumya: (looks at him confusingly) Why are you looking at me like this?? Switch off the light and come faster.. I’m so sleepy.. (yawns)
Rudra: Yeah.. Coming.. (Rudra switches off the light and retired to his bed)
