CHAPTER 49
OBEROI MANSION
ShiOmRuSid go to the terrace and try to look if they can get anything… They search for more than an hour but they couldn’t find anything…
Om: So cunning!! Nothing is here… He planned perfectly… (ShiRu calm him)
Sid: I thought we can get anything here… Shivaay, let’s watch the footage again… Maybe we can get anything from there…
Shivaay: Sure… I copied in my laptop… Let’s go and watch it at the study room… Where is Ranveer, Siddharth??
Sid: I called him just now… He said that he is on the way now… He told us to proceed first and he will join in a while… I don’t know what these four guys are up to… Always discussing something in secret…
Rudra: Bhaiya, they too must be discussing about this only… Maybe they want to try from their side…
Sid: No, Rudra… This is happening since few years… But, I just ignore it…
Shivaay: Ok… Come let’s go and rewatch the video… (ShiRuSid turn to go but see Omkara is thinking something… Shivaay shakes his shoulder… Omkara breaks his thoughts and look at him..) What are you thinking, Om??
Om: Nothing… Let’s go… (Four of them leave to study room)
RAICHAND MANSION
Karthik is pacing in his room waiting for RanRaDuKa… ArSwet took Ishana to the lawn… NiTiMiMa are in the kitchen preparing for lunch… Swetlana excused herself from IshAr and join NiTiMiMa in kitchen… Arjun sits on a bench at the lawn beside Ishana… He looks at her right hand which is bandaged…
Arjun: (thinks) Poor girl… Already her hand is having problem… Now this incident make it worse… Why she is the one need to suffer?? Don’t know what happened few years ago that caused her hand to be weak… I can’t even ask Ishu about it… She doesn’t remember it… If it is true that someone hit her, I won’t spare that person… How dare that person to hit my angel??
Ishu: (looks at him who lost in his thoughts) Anna!! Anna!! (He still in his thought… Ishana calls a bit louder shaking his arm) Bhaiya!!!
Arjun breaks his thought and gets up from his place… He looks here and there like going to hit someone…
Ishu: (confused looking at him) What happened, anna?? Why are you behaving like this??
Arjun: I thought someone wants to attack you… That’s why…
Ishu: What?? Who will attack me here?? And, please put your hands down… (Pointing at his hands which he posed like boxing)
Arjun: (puts his hand down) Why you called me bhaiya instead of anna?? You know, it’s our code word, right?? That’s why I thought that someone wants to attack you…
Ishu: I know that, anna… I called you few times but your are thinking something… That’s why I called you bhaiya… But, I didn’t know that you will react like this… (Teasingly)
Arjun: (sits and takes her right hand) Ishu, will you answer me if I asked you something??
Ishu: Sure, anna… You can ask me…
Arjun: I’m not supposed to ask now because of your condition is not good now… But, no one is here now and it will be easy for me to talk with you…
Ishu: Anna, I’m the iron lady of our family… I can bear any pain with me… You can ask me anything without hesitation…
Arjun: (hugs her shoulder) Ishu, have you felt any pain in this hand before this?? (Showing her right hand which he is holding right now)
Ishu: Pain?? I don’t…(tries to remember) Yes, bhaiya… I felt pain few times after that accident… My hand will be very weak and can’t lift a small thing… First time I felt the pain after I and Dev went back from Mumbai to Chennai… That night I woke up and tried to take my mobile but I can’t take it… I saw bandage on my hand… I thought because of the injury, I can’t take the mobile… But, next morning I dropped the jug and my hand was shaking terribly… Then, I realised that it was not because of the injury but guilt of killing a girl… (Cries)
Arjun: (caresses her arm that he is hugging) Shhh… See, you told me that you are strong… But, now you are crying… (Ishana looks at him… He wipes her tears…) Listen, Ishu… It was an accident and you don’t even remember it… Please don’t blame yourself… Actually, we don’t know what really happened that day… So, stop blaming yourself… (Ishana nods… Arjun hugs her again and kisses her forehead)
Voice: What is happening here?? (IshAr turns and sees Karan walking towards them)
Arjun: (sarcastically) Woww!!! You come back so early… I thought you all will be late…
Ishu: Exactly, anna!! I thought they will come tomorrow only…
Karan: (understand they are teasing him) Stop pulling my legs, yaar… We met the doctor to know about her condition… That’s why we are late…
Arjun: We?? (Looks behind Karan) Only you are here… Where are others??
Karan: They went to Oberoi Mansion… Shivaay called them…
Arjun: Why you didn’t follow them as well??
Karan: I need to do dressing for Ishu’s wounds… Why Ishu is here?? She supposed to take rest…
Arjun: She felt bored staying in the room… That’s why I brought her here…
Karan: Fine… Now, let’s go inside… I need to change your bandages… (Ishana nods… Karan pushes her wheelchair and takes her inside leaving Arjun)
Arjun: (after they goes) Ishu still thinks that her hand shivers because of guilt… If her hand shivered due to guilt, what is the reason for the pain of her hand?? Why she didn’t think about it?? (Sighs) I thought that accident’s chapter is closed… But, it started to haunt us after these years… Why?? I need to find out about it… (Thinks a while and runs inside the house…)
OBEROI MANSION
Study room
ShiOmRuSid are watching the footage again… RanRaDu join them as well…
Ranveer: (sees something) Shivaay, pause it a while… (Shivaay pause the video) Zoom it… (Shivaay zoom the video… Ranveer is looking at something..)
Sid: What are you looking at, Ranveer??
Ranveer: His hand…
Raghav: What are you seeing with his hand??
Ranveer: His tattoo… I think I saw it somewhere before… But, I can’t remember where…
Om: Maybe you have seen it on Ashok…
Ranveer: No, Om… I didn’t notice this much on Ashok… I meet him first time at here only…
Rudra: That means this guy is not Ashok??
Shivaay: Then, who is he?? Our new enemy??
Dush: Hold on, Shivaay… Ranveer, did you remember where and when you have seen this tattoo??
Ranveer: I don’t remember where and when but one thing I sure that it’s not recently I had seen it… I felt like I saw it long time back… But don’t know when…
Om: If he is not Ashok, then who is he… What is his enmity with us??
Sid: I thought we can get some clues but we didn’t get anything… (All sigh feeling irritated that they can’t identify the culprit… Siddharth feel bad to see the Obros) Don’t lose your hope, guys… We will catch the culprit soon… (ShiOmRu just nods watching the video again) Where is Karan??
Raghav: He went back to Raichand Mansion… Need to do dressing for Ishu… We asked him to teach our girls as well… It will be fine if one of them do the dressing for her…
Ranveer: That’s why I asked him to take a nurse for helping her but Arjun refused to have a nurse…
Sid: Arjun was right… Why we have to take another nurse when Karthika is with us?? She can do the dressing for Ishu’s wounds… (RanRaDu look each other don’t know what to reply)
Om: Why Karthika?? What is the need of her to do the dressing?? (All look at him in surprise… Omkara realised what he asked…) I mean what is the need to ask Karthika or other nurse to do the dressing… Your wives and SwetMa are there to do it… So, you don’t have to ask Karthika… (They can find a jealous tone in his voice)
Rudra: (hugs Omkara’s arm) Tell me one thing, O… Why you always feel insecure whenever Karthika is there or if we mentioned her name?? She is a girl, O… You don’t have to be jealous… (Omkara is about to say something but stops when Dushyanth mobile rings… Dushyanth takes his mobile from his pocket and answers it… Something fell down when he takes out his mobile… It rolls and stops at Omkara’s feet…)
Om: (bend down and takes it) Ring?? I think this must be Dushyanth one… (Dushyanth ends the call and look at them… Omkara extends the ring…) Your ring fell down when you take your mobile…
Dush: (takes the ring and looks at it) No, Om… This is not mine… Actually, I wanted to ask you all since I found it that day… But, we all in tensed because of this incident and I totally forget about this… Anyone of you know whose ring is this?? (All shake their head in negative)
Ranveer: (looks at the ring) When did you find this ring??
Dush: That night before the chandelier fell… I just finished my call and about to come down… And this ring fell in front of me that time… I looked here and there to find the owner… But, there was no one… Then, I heard something above and see the rope getting loose…
Rudra: I know whose ring is this… (All look at him) It’s belongs to the person who cut the rope… Look at this clip… (All watch the clip) See, he is shrugging his hand… The ring must have fell that time…
Om: So, he looked down because he realised his ring has fallen down… And he got scared when Robin took the ring… That’s why he ran away from there…
Sid: Brilliant, OmRu!! So, this ring is belongs to him… (Takes the ring from Dushyanth) I’ll keep this with me… We might need it in our investigation…
Ranveer: Let’s go back now… We are here for long time… (SidRanDuKa leave from there)
RAICHAND MANSION
Ishana’s Room
Karan finished dressing Ishana’s wounds with new bandages… The girls are there as well learning from him…
Karan: So, did you all learned how to do the dressing?? (They nod) Good… Next time, you can do it for her if we are not around…
Swet: When we need to do the dressing again??
Karan: At evening and night before she sleeps… Actually, her wounds are still fresh… That’s why we have to change the bandages frequently… She won’t be comfortable if stays in the same bandage for a long time… (The girls nod their heads understand… All leave from the room except Madhu…)
Ishu: Madhu, come here… (Madhu goes to her) I think we have to execute our plan today…
Madhu: (shocked) What?? Today?? Ishu, I’m very scared… How if they find out about it??
Ishu: (sighs) Madhu, they won’t find out about it unless if we tell them…
Madhu: But, how we are going to get it?? Shall we ask Karthika??
Ishu: No, Madhu… We can’t ask Karthika to get it for us… It will be better if we ask a guy to get it…
Voice: What you can’t ask me?? (IshMa turn and see Karthika at the door)
Ishu: It’s nothing, Karthika… We were just talking…
Karthika: Don’t lie, madam… I heard that you want to buy something… It’s ok, madam… You can tell me what you want me to buy… I’ll get it for you… (Ishana is about to refuse)
Madhu: (holds Ishana’s hand) It’s ok, Ishu… She said that she will get it for us… Then, why are you refusing her?? (Towards Karthika) Actually, we want to buy a medicine… But, we don’t know where we can get it here…
Karthika: Just tell me the medicines name… I’ll go and get it immediately… (IshMa look each other)
Madhu: We can’t tell the name… Wait, I’ll write it on a paper and give to you… (Karthika looks on confusingly)
Karthika: What is the name that you can’t tell me??
Madhu: You will know it… (writes something on a small piece of paper and gives to Karthika…)
Karthika: (reads it and look at them in shock) Again!!
IshMa: (look each other in confuse) What??
Karthika: I mean this pill is for…. (IshMa nod their heads) Why you want this??
Ishu: Actually, Karthika, our family is very much upset with whatever happened with me… My sisters, jijus, brother and bhabhi meet after long time but they can’t spend time together… They always thinking about me and not for themselves… That’s why…. We used to do this in Chennai too with Karthik’s help… But, he is not here… That’s why we are asking you… If you can’t means it’s ok… I know it must be embarrassing for you to buy this… I’ll ask Ranveer to buy this… Give me the paper… (Tries to take the paper)
Karthika: (shocked and pulls back her hand) No!!! (IshMa are surprised) You want to ask Ranveer to buy this?? No way… I mean don’t worry… I’ll get this for you…
Ishu: Are you sure??
Karthika: Yes… Yes… Very sure… I’ll go and buy this…
Ishu: (smiles) Thank you… (Karthika nods and looks at the paper)
Karthik: (thinks) These girls will make me to land in trouble one day by doing like this… I don’t know what will happen if this family find out about this…
Madhu: (snaps her fingers on his face) What are you thinking?? Go fast before anyone see you… (Karthika leaves from there)
NIGHT AT RAICHAND MANSION
All are having their dinner silently… Ishana is resting in her room… Ranveer signs RaDuKaKar through his eyes to meet him after dinner… Arjun sees this but he ignores and continues eating his food… Madhu finishes her dinner quickly and leaves to wash her hand… Karthika is thinking how to hand over the pill to Madhu… All finished having their dinner except Karthika and leave to wash their hands… Madhu come back to the dining and taking the plates…
Karthika: Madhu, I bought the pills ready… How I want to hand it to you??
Madhu: Good… Keep it with you first and goes to Ishu’s room after your dinner… I’ll come after they go to their room…
Karthika: You have to be fast… RanRaDuKa are going to have discussion after this about their mission…
Madhu: (thinks a while) Don’t worry… I’ll take care of it… You just do what I said… (Karthika nods and leaves from there)
