CHAPTER 28
OBEROI INDUSTRIES
ShiOmRu are in Shivaay’s cabin… They are tensed thinking about something… TejSak are there as well…
Tej: What are you saying, Shivaay??
Shivaay: Yes, bade papa… Last night, there was an intruder in Oberoi Mansion… The bulb was broken by that person as well…
Shakti: How do you sure about that??
Om: Yesterday, when we went and check, we noticed some shoe trails there…
Rudra: And those are exactly outside O’s room…
Tej: That means he is targeting Omkara?? Why??
Shivaay: No, bade papa… I mean Om is not the only target… I think all of us are their targets…
Shakti: But, who is the person that want to harm our family?? We don’t have any enemies now…
Om: No, choti papa… Did you forget?? Our enemies are still there…
Tej: Whom do you mean??
Shivaay: Kamini!!
Shakti: But, she is in jail, right??
Rudra: She was in jail before… But, she released two days back…
TejSak: (shocked) What??
Shivaay: It’s true… I was shocked as well… But, I thought she must have repent for her sins before like Swetlana… But, I was wrong… She started her work..
Tej: But, Shivaay, how she can enter our house easily and escape easily?? It’s not possible for a lady like her to do it…
Shivaay: Maybe she hire someone to help her… (Thinks a while) She is having a son, right?? (Tried to remember the name) Yeah… Ashok!! Maybe it was him broke into our mansion last night…
Shakti: I think we have to tighten our security at Oberoi Mansion… We are having new members in our family… We can’t let anything happen to them…
Tej: But, Swetlana is her daughter… How come they will harm her??
Om: (Remembers his talk with Swetlana) I don’t think it was Ashok, Shivaay… Because just now Swetlana told me that her brother is coming tomorrow…
Rudra: Maybe he is already here but will come to our house tomorrow…
Shivaay: Maybe Rudra is right… He can’t harm anyone last night… So, he wants to harm us by entering Oberoi Mansion…
Om: You are right… There is one more thing… Swetlana is worried about him coming here… She said that she feels that he is going to create trouble by coming here…
Shivaay: (shocked) Why she said that?? He is her brother only…
Om: I asked her but she didn’t tell me… I felt that she is trying to hide something… Then, Ranveer came and consoles her… But, I could see that Ranveer too doesn’t like his arrival… He is worried too…
Rudra: I think something must happened… I think that guy, Ashok must cause trouble for them as well…
Shivaay: I’ll talk to Ranveer regarding this… Papa, Bade Papa, please don’t tell this to anyone else… They will be worried… Don’t worry about this… We won’t let anything happen to our family…
TejSak: We trust our sons, Shivaay… (ShiOmRu smile… TejSak leave from there)
Shivaay: Om, why Ishana was with you last night?? (Omkara looked at him in shock) You said that both of you heard the noise outside your room… That means she was with you in your room, right??
Om: Yes, Shivaay… She was with me only… I took her to my room to dress her wound… First aid kit is in my room, so I took her there…
Rudra: O, I think you forgot that we are having one in the kitchen as well… You don’t have to take my Ishana bhabhi to your room… You took her to dress her wound or something else….?? (Teasingly… Shivaay stares at Rudra for his question… Rudra understands his stare and wants to say something else but saw Omkara lost in his thought)
Omkara recalls last night events he shared with Ishana… Her shivering state, her confession, he got angry with her, their emotional talk, their almost kiss… Rudra snaps his finger breaking his thoughts…
Om: (smiles) I took her to dress her wound only… (ShiRu are surprised to see Omkara not angry with Rudra’s question) I’m leaving now… I need to go to art gallery…
Shivaay: Yeah… Sure… See you in evening… And be careful… (Omkara nods and leave from there)
Rudra: Bhaiya, am I dreaming?? O didn’t scold me for what I told him just now??
Shivaay: Even I’m surprised… I thought he will lash at you but he just smiles…
Rudra: I think something must have happened between them… If not why he was in a deep thought when I asked him?? And did you noticed how he hold Ishana bhabhi’s hand last night when he rang the security alarm??
Shivaay: Yeah… I remember… He held her hand like he don’t want to let her go… He leave her hand after making sure everyone is there and nothing will happen to her… He is so protective towards her…
Rudra: It’s look like protective for you but for me it looks like love… I’m sure O is in love with Ishana bhabhi…
Shivaay: I know that as well but these Om and Ishana are not realising it…
Rudra: Don’t worry, bhaiya… They will realise it soon…
Shivaay: I hope that soon will be very soon… I want my old Om back…
Rudra: (hugs Shivaay’s shoulder) Our O is returning… (Shivaay smiles and pats his cheek lovingly)
OBEROI MANSION
Night at Ranveer’s room
Priyanka is looking at Ranveer who is thinking of something… Priyanka shakes his shoulder…
Prinku: Ranveer, you said that you want to talk to me but you are thinking about something… Any problem, Ranveer??
Ranveer: (holds her hand) Priyanka, I told you that I won’t hide anything from you… (Cuts by Priyanka)
Prinku: Except few matters that you can’t say now… I know that…
Ranveer: There is another matter and I think you should know about it… But, please don’t be angry with me… Because that matter was surprise to me as well…
Prinku: Ok… But, what is the matter, Ranveer?? Tell me…
Ranveer: I can’t tell you… I must show you… (Priyanka looks at him in confuse) Karthika!! (Karthika comes from the washroom…)
Prinku: (shocked) What she is doing in your room?? (There is a little jealousy in her voice)
Ranveer: You will know… (looks at Karthika and signs her)
Karthika understands and removes her wig and make up one by one… Karthika reveals herself as a man… Priyanka looks at him and Ranveer shockingly… She holds her head and almost collapsed but Ranveer holds her…
Ranveer: Priyanka… Priyanka… Are you alright??
Prinku: What is this, Ranveer?? Why he disguise as a girl?? Who is he??
Ranveer: He is Karthik, one of my family member… Arjun’s business partner cum friend… Ishu’s special person…
Karthik: Hi, Priyanka… I’m sorry… Ranveer has nothing to do with this… He knew after I came here only… I’m here to help him in his work as well as his mission…
Prinku: But, what is the need to disguise as a girl??
Ranveer: Priyanka, I don’t know you knew about it or not… Maybe Shivaay knew about it… Kamini is released from jail… (Priyanka is shocked) Yes, Priyanka… She is released two days before… I know it yesterday only…
Prinku: But, why are you worrying about her being released from jail?? Her enemity is with the Oberois only…
Ranveer: You are wrong, Priyanka… Her enemity is not with the Oberois only… Raichands are also her enemies…
Prinku: What?? But, why??
Karthik: Because Raichands accepted Swetlana in their family and make her to lead a happy life by marrying Siddharth…
Prinku: So what?? Her daughter is living happily… What’s wrong in that?? She must happy to know that a family accepted her daughter wholeheartedly after knowing everything…
Karthik: You are right… A good mother will think like that only… But, Kamini is not like that because Swetlana bhabhi is not her daughter… In fact, she hates bhabhi a lot and make her life miserable… First, she filled vengeance against your family, she makes bhabhi to become your father’s mistress, then she asked her to marry him to snatch your properties…
Ranveer: When Omkara came in between, she asked her to marry him… Omkara agreed to marry her just to save his mother’s married life… After that, you know whatever happened… Swetlana regrets for her deed… Kamini’s anger is on peak after Swetlana failed to revenge your family…
Prinku: You mean now she will harm Swetlana not us??
Ranveer: I didn’t mean to say that… Maybe she is targeting your family as well because her revenge is not fulfilled… Karthik is here to protect daadima and SwetIshMa… So that I can focus on my investigation regarding the accident case… We don’t want daadima and SwetIshMa to have doubt on us… That is why Karthik is disguise as Karthika… We are telling you because I know you will understand us and will help us in this… And I don’t want to hide more things from you… Priyanka, you won’t tell this to anyone, right??
Prinku: No, I won’t tell this to anyone… I’m happy that you trust me and tell me the truth… I could understand how important are the matters that you are hiding from me… Thank you, Ranveer…
Ranveer: Thank you to you too, Priyanka…
Karthik: Ranveer is very lucky to have you in his life… No one can be better than you…
Prinku: (smiles and looks at Ranveer) Ranveer is not less than me… I’m very lucky too… (Ranveer smiles)(after a while) Why did you flirt with Om bhaiya?? And why did you say like that to Ishana?? Do you know how much we struggled to make her agree to wear red??
Karthik: (looks at Ranveer and turns to look at Priyanka) We wanted to see Ishu maa’s reaction when I flirt with Omkara… And we wanted to see Omkara’s reaction when I said that Ishu maa will look good in pale colors… Both plans worked… Ishu maa looked at me like she will burn me alive… And, Omkara opposed my statement about the colors…
Prinku: I didn’t notice Ishana’s reaction but I saw Om bhaiya opposing your statement… Actually, I was angry with you for saying that… But, now I’m happy that you did that for a reason… So, there is another person added in Mission Ishkara…
RanKa: (smiles) Yes!!
Ranveer: Karthik, we are here for long time… Go and change into Karthika…
Karthik: (sighed) It’s very hard to disguise as a girl… (PriVeer chuckle looking at him) But, have to do it for my family… (Leaves to washroom)
Prinku: He is so sweet… So, he is the one you used to say that he and Rudra bhaiya will fight for Ishana’s affection??
Ranveer: Yes… You know something?? You remember when you caught me when I was speaking with someone on mobile?? He is the one I was talking with… (Priyanka recalls the night where she misunderstood and slapped him… She felt bad for slapping him… Ranveer realise she is thinking about the slap… He tries to divert her) And, he is the one I used to tease Madhu…
Prinku: (surprised and excited) You mean Madhu’s man?? (Ranveer nods) My God!! They will look good together…
Ranveer: But, Priyanka, only Madhu loves him… He is not even looking at her…
Prinku: It’s ok… We will make him to realise her love… Ranveer, why Karthik is calling Ishana as Ishu maa??
Ranveer: Because Ishu resembles his mother… And he believes that Ishu is reincarnation of his mother… Ishu too treat him as her son only…
Prinku: (stunned) Unbelievable!!! Ishana is simply different… I always amazed with her… Like Rudra bhaiya says, no one can be like my Ishana bhabhi… He is right… No one can be like her…
Ranveer: Right… If you know what else she did, you will be speechless… You will know it on the right time…
Prinku: I’m waiting for it… (Looks at the washroom and see the door is still closed… She goes to Ranveer and kisses his cheek… Ranveer is stunned with her move and looks at her in surprise…) I’m sorry, Ranveer… I always felt guilty for slapping you that night…
Ranveer wipes her tears and kisses her forehead…
Karthika: (female voice) I don’t see anything… (PriVeer turn and look at Karthika who is closing her eyes…)
Ranveer: Drama queen!! Come here…
Prinku: I want to ask something… You make Ishana jealous by flirting with Om bhaiya… But, how we can make Om bhaiya to be jealous??
Ranveer: You are right… We have to make him jealous as well… (Remembers something) Priyanka, there is another thing about Ashok… You need to know about that too… (Before he could say something, they heard a scream… They look each other in confuse..) Who is screaming at this time??
Karthika: Ishu maa… It’s her voice…
Prinku: Let’s go… (Three of them rushed to Ishana’s room)
They enter her room and see Ishana breathing heavily… Madhu and Swetlana are calming her down by sitting beside her… Savitri too comes there with the Oberois… RanKa go to Ishana…
Ranveer: Madhu, what happened??
Madhu: I don’t know, bhaiya… She was sleeping just now… Suddenly, she screamed…
Swet: I think she had a nightmare again… (Swetlana get down from the bed and pour a glass of water)
Savitri: Why this is happening again??
Karthika: Don’t worry, daadima… This is normal only… She must be worry about something and slept… And, it become as her nightmare… (Sits beside her)
Swetlana gives the glass to Karthika and asks her to give Ishana… Karthika obeys and makes Ishana to drink the water… Omkara sees Ishana’s hand is shivering… He wants to go and holds her hand to calm her… Before he could move, Karthika holds Ishana’s hand and squeeze it gently… Omkara feels something in his heart looking at it… Ishana looks at Karthika and Karthika just smiles at her… Ishana just hugs her while Karthika caress her back calming her down… Ishana feels comfortable with her embrace and calms herself…
Shivaay: Should I call any doctor??
Swet: It’s ok, Shivaay… I think she is fine now…
Rudra: She always get this type of nightmare??
Savitri: She used to get nightmare few years back but it stopped after that…
Swet: But, she get the nightmare again after she comes to Mumbai…
Ranveer: Why Ishu slept early today?? Usually she won’t sleep this soon..
Madhu: She said her body is paining… So, I get for her pain killer from Annika… She sleeps after having it…
Shivaay: What happened?? Did she fell down??
Pinky: She don’t fells down… But, this Omkara fells on her… That is why she is in pains… (She tell them what happened)
Rudra: O, why did you fell on Ishana bhabhi?? See she is in pain because of you… (Rudra looks at Omkara but he is staring at IshKar…) (Whispers to Shivaay) Bhaiya, why O is staring at them like this?? Ishana bhabhi is hugging a girl only… Why he is reacting like bhabhi is hugging a guy??
Shivaay: (whispers) That is what I’m wondering… We will ask him later… Now, stop him from staring them…
Rudra: (agrees and shakes Omkara’s shoulder) O, I asked why you fell on Ishana bhabhi??
Om: (realised what he was doing) I didn’t fell intentionally… This girl, Karthika lift my leg suddenly and I lose my balance…
Rudra: O, I don’t understand one thing… Are you that weak?? Or this girl is more strong?? She made you to fall!! I think your hair having more weight than your body… (All laugh listening to Rudra… Omkara feels embarrassed and leave from there)
The Oberois too leave from Ishana’s room after Ishana becomes normal… RanKa decide to sleep in Ishana’s room that night… Swetlana agrees and take Savitri to her room…
