CHAPTER 22
RAICHAND MANSION
Ishana’s room
Ishana looks herself at the mirror… She touched her maang and looks at the sindoor… She cries looking at it…
Ishu: Why this happening to me again?? I don’t have any rights to wear this sindoor again… I lost the right when I lost my Dev two years back… Then, why today?? (Cries badly..) No… This happened without our wish… There is no meaning in this… Yes… It has no meaning…
She wipes her tears and goes to washroom… She opens the tap and stands under the shower letting the sindoor to be washed out… After few minutes, she turns of the shower… She goes and see herself in front of the mirror and shocked… The sindoor is gone but the sign is still there and more darker than before…. She washes again using the soap but it’s still the same… She scrubs hardly using her nails but it is still there… It’s just getting darker with her blood which is coming from her skin due to her nails… She cleans the blood and goes out from the washroom… She goes to Dev’s portrait and cries… She recalls all of her moments with Dev… Their first meet, he saved her from Ashok, her love confession, their past confession, Dev proposal, their engagement, their marriage and his accident…. She kisses his picture and lies on her bed after changing her dress…
OBEROI MANSION
Omkara’s room
Omkara looks at his hand which is still having the sindoor stain even though he washed many times… He recalls the temple incident… He felt bad thinking about Ishana…
Om: What have I done?? But, I didn’t do it intentionally… I didn’t see her getting up that time… This is very sensitive for the ladies… Ishana must be feeling bad now… I need to talk to her and clear the things between us… I can’t see her worried… (Omkara leaves from his room to meet ShiRu but he saw Savitri is sitting at the living room with Ranveer)
Savitri: (with tear filled eyes) I know you all must feel bad with whatever happened at the temple… But, please don’t say anything about that to Ishu… Just leave this matter like this…
Kalyani: How we can leave it just like that, Savitri?? Om filled her maang with sindoor in front of Maata Raani…
Savitri: Please bhabhi… Forget about this… You all don’t know what happened with Ishu… She is broken inside but pretend to be strong only for us…
Shivaay: Daadima, what happened with Ishu that makes her to live like this??
Rudra: I know that, bhaiya… Ishana bhabhi lost her fiance in front of her eyes two years back… (The Oberois are shocked to hear this…)
Savitri: You are right, beta… But, do you know when she lost him?? (He shakes his head in negative) She supposed to marry him that day but before that, he….(cries badly and Ranveer consoles him)
Again the Oberois are shocked including Omkara… He knows that Ishana lost her fiance in front of her eyes but he didn’t know that she supposed to marry him that day…
Tej: My God!! She lost her love on her wedding day… That’s too cruel…
Savitri: That is what I’m asking you all to not to ask or tell her anything regarding the temple incident…
Jhanvi: (hugs Savitri’s shoulders) Don’t worry, aunty ji… We will not say anything to her… Please don’t cry…
Pinky: Aunty ji, you must thank God because that didn’t happen after the marriage… That will be more painful for her…
Savitri: You are right, Pinky… Till now we are consoling ourselves by thinking about that only… I can’t imagine if the accident happened after the marriage… I won’t be alive if that happened… (Makes a scared face… JhaNky calms her)
Ranveer is shocked listening to Savitri… He stood there controlling his tears… Priyanka noticed this but thought to ask him later…
Om: (to Savitri) But, I need to talk to her… Please, daadima… If not both of us will not be able to sleep tonight… I want her to come to this house without any hesitation… I don’t want her to feel embarrassed to come here… Trust me… I will not hurt her… I can understand her pain… In fact, both of us are having the same pain…
Annika: I think Om is right… Both of them are involved in this… So, they have to sort this out…
Soumya: Exactly… And Ishana will be able to involve in Priyanka’s birthday celebration without any hesitation…
Prinku: Yes… She made me to speak my heart today… I will not celebrate my birthday if she is not participating…
Savitri: Ok, beta… If you all are saying, then I don’t have any problem…
Om: I will come with you now…
Ranveer: Sure…
RuPri: We are coming as well…
Shivaay: What you both are going to do there??
Rudra: Bhaiya, Prinku have a new friend there, Madhu… And, I’m going for my Ishana bhabhi… If O is not able to convince her, her Rudraa will convince her…(gives a proud look)
Shivaay: (gives a ‘whatever’ look to him) Yeah.. But, don’t create more trouble there…
Ranveer, Savitri and OmRuPri leave to Raichand Mansion…
RAICHAND MANSION
SwetMa and RaDuKa are sitting worriedly thinking about Ishana…
Swet: She didn’t come out from her room… I’m really worried about her…
Madhu: I think she is still upset about the temple incident…
Karan: I can’t see her like this… It’s like I’m seeing the same Ishu I saw two years before after Dev’s death…
Raghav: She never looked at our face just now… I really feel bad seeing her like this…
Dush: I think we must stop worrying for her and have to do something to cheer her…
Swet: Yes… Please do something… I want my daughter back… I can’t see her like this… (Cries)
Karan: (hugs her shoulder) Didi, please don’t cry… You are getting too emotional for everything… We will make everything fine… Believe us… (Swetlana just nods her head)
Madhu: I have an idea!!! But, I don’t know whether you all will agree or not…
Raghav: You tell us the idea first… We will decide to agree or not… (Madhu tells them her idea)
Swet: This is good idea, Madhu… I think we must do this…
Dush: Didi, are you sure?? But, how we three will do it??
Karan: Yes, didi… We never done this before…
Madhu: Jiju, won’t you do this for your Ishu?? (Makes a puppy face)
Raghav: Don’t make this face… We are ready to sacrifice our life for her… This is just a simple matter… I’m agree with this…
DuKa: We also agree!!
Swet: Come, I will help you…
Ishana is lying on her bed thinking about the temple incident… She heard knock on the door and look at the time…
Ishu: Oh, God!!! I’m here for long time… They must be worrying for me… How you can do this, Ishana?? Remember, you are living for your family… You can’t make them sad… Already they are broken because of whatever happened to you… Please don’t make them feeling bad again because of the temple incident… Just behave like whatever happened at the temple meant nothing to you… But, it’s really means nothing to me… Then, why are you worrying?? Go and open the door…
Ishana gets up from her bed and goes and opes the door… But, she sees no one there… She wonders who knocks the door… She goes downstairs to the living room but no one is there… Suddenly, all the lights went off… Ishana is confused and try to call them but they are not responding… She walks slowly and search for them… The lights turned on… She understands that someone is playing prank and turns to go… She stops seeing RaDuKa are coming to her wearing saree and SwetMa dressed like men… They play ‘Ooo La La’ song and dance near her… She tries to control her laugh seeing them… She wants to go from there but they are not letting her and continue to dance… Swetlana and Madhu kiss her cheek… Ishana surrenders and dance with them… RaDuKa is happy and lift three of them in their arms… They twirl them around and put them down after the song ends… Six of them have a group hug… They break the hug and laugh looking at each other…
Ishu: Woww!!! That’s great… My aththans are looking very beautiful in these sarees… Anni, Madhu, you both are looking handsome too… I really enjoyed this…. Thank you so much…
Swet: Anything for you, sweetheart… (Side hugs Ishana)
RaDuKa: Oh, no!! (Shocked looking at something)
IshSwetMa: (confused) What??
SwetMa: (follow their gaze) Oh, no!!
Ishu: (again confused) What happened, anni, Madhu?? (She turns to see what they are looking at and surprised to see Savitri, Ranveer and OmRuPri at the entrance looking at them in surprised)
Savitri and Ranveer look at them raising their eyebrows… While RuPri are grinning looking at them… And Omkara just stood silently… His gaze is only on one person… SwetMa feel embarrassed looking at their state… They just run from there to their room…
RaDuKa: (shocked to see them escaping) Di, we are coming too… (Escape from there leaving Ishana with them)
Savitri: (goes to Ishana) Ishu, Om beta wants to talk to you…
Ishu: (looks at Omkara) Ok, paatima…
Ishkara goes outside to the lawn… Both are not able to face each other… They stand silently for a while… Ishkara: Are you ok?? (They smile and turn their faces)
Om: I’m sorry… I didn’t do it intentionally… The box almost fell on you… That’s why I caught it… But, before I could take my hand, you get up and…. (Cuts by Ishana)
Ishu: I can understand… It’s true that I was upset just now… But, now I’m fine… You don’t have to worry… Just forget whatever happened… It’s just an accident… It meant nothing to us… (Ishana could feel pain in her heart while saying this)
Om: Yeah… It meant nothing to us… (He too felt the same pain) So, you will come to Oberoi Mansion without any hesitation, right?? You will organise Prinku’s birthday party, right??
Ishu: Of course… Why should I hesitate to come to your house?? (Thinks a while) Wait a minute… (Chuckles) So, you are here thinking that I must be upset and will back off from Priyanka’s function?? Am I right??
Om: (searching for words) No… I didn’t mean like that…
Ishu: Listen, Mr Omkara… I won’t mix my personal matters with my profession… So, you don’t have to worry… I won’t back off from Priyanka’s function unless you fire me…
Om: (chuckles) I’m not going to fire you… And I won’t let you to go as well…
Ishu: (smiles) Besides her function, I have another work too… I need to help Priyanka to overcome her stammers and nervousness…
Om: (nods) Yeah… I know that… I’m willing to help you in this matter…
Ishu: Thank you… Now, let’s go inside…
They move to leave inside the house… Ishana doesn’t notice a rock near her… Her leg hits the rock and she almost fell… But, Omkara holds her by her waist stops her from falling… They have an eyelock… Omkara makes her to stand properly… She tries to walk but the pain in her leg is not letting her to walk… Omkara wants to help her but she stops him… Ishana tries to walk again but she fails… Omkara just lift her up in his arms… Ishana is stunned but her hand automatically encircles his neck… She just looks at him admiringly…
RuPri are having a good time chatting with Savitri and SwetRanRaDuKaMa…
Rudra: I never thought that you three will look pretty in those sarees…
Ranveer: Even I never thought of that… What makes you to dress up like that?? Swetlana, Madhu, both of you too??
Swet: Actually, Ishu was worried about the temple incident… So, we thought to cheer her…
Prinku: That’s good… Whose idea was that??
Karan: Who else?? Our Madhu’s only??
Savitri: Not bad, Madhu… You can give idea also… I’m impressed…
Madhu: Anything for our family…
Swet: You all carry on… I need to give medicines to daadima… Daadima, let’s go…
Savitri: Yes, beta… I’m feeling tired as well… Good night, everyone…
All: Good night, daadima… (Swetlana and Savitri leave from there)
Rudra: You all know what?? Today, I’m very happy…
All: Why??
Rudra: Because my wish get fulfilled…
Ranveer: You mean the temple incident??
Rudra: Yes… What a scene?? O filled sindoor on Ishana bhabhi’s maang… This happened in movies but first time I’m seeing in real…
Prinku: Maybe, this is called fate… And the God wants this to happen as well…
Madhu: Exactly!! The chunri flew and fell on their heads… It’s her blessings only…
Raghav: Before this, I didn’t believe in this but today’s incident made me to trust that they are destined to be…
Dush: Exactly… I felt the same too… We want them to not to fall for each other… But, the fate brings them more closer only… (Rudra confused with this statement but he keeps quiet…)
Karan: One thing I know today… No matter how much we try but we can’t challenge or change the destiny… Right, Ranveer?? (He looks at Ranveer who lost in his thought… He shrugs his shoulder… Ranveer comes out from his trances) Where you lost, Ranveer??
Ranveer: I’m thinking about what the Baba said at the temple… Everything seems to be correct only…
Rudra: But, I can’t understand some of that… It is like a puzzle what he said to O… About the truth truth truth… What truth?? And, for Ishana bhabhi, he said she is struggling alone for the battle… Which battle?? (Except Rudra everyone understand what the Baba said as the truth… But they don’t say anything to him)
Prinku: But I don’t understand what he said to Madhu?? Why he said that?? (RanRaDuKaMa smile at her)
Ranveer: You will know it later, Priyanka…
Madhu: Actually, Rudra… It’s happened as you said… You said they might get married by today… See, it almost happened…
Rudra: Right!!! I told you that everything will happen in different order… Now, they are married… When will be the engagement?? Tomorrow?? (They laugh hearing him…)
However, their laughter stop seeing Omkara walking inside carrying Ishana in his arms… They cup their mouth in shock… Ishkara don’t realise their presence and simply walk passed them… Ishana just looks at him lovingly…
All: What is happening here??
Rudra: I told you… We want to make them closer but we don’t have to do anything… Their fate is making them closer… They married this evening and it’s a tradition that the groom should lift his bride entering the house… This supposed to happen at Oberoi Mansion but it’s happening here…
Karan: You only said that for them everything happened in different order…
Madhu: Right… Let’s see what else their fate plans for them…
Rudra: Next is what?? First night only… We have to stop them first… (Wanted to go)
Prinku: (holds his hand) Bhaiya, don’t behave like a kid… That will not happen… They are not like that… (All shake their head seeing his antics)
Ishkara reach the room… Omkara places Ishana on the bed… Omkara looks at her partition which is still having the sign of sindoor… He also could notice some nail marks there… He understands that she scrubbed hardly to remove the sign… Ishana looks at his hand still which is also having sindoor’s sign… Ishkara look at each other and have an eyelock.. Omkara turns to leave but stops and turns to Ishana who is still looking at him… He goes near her and holds her face with his both hands… He plants a deep kiss exactly on her partition where the sindoor is filled… Ishana startled with this move of him but she doesn’t stop him… She closed her eyes feeling the kiss which she felt like removing her pain from her heart… They stay like that for sometime…
Om: (makes Ishana lies on the bed) Sleep well… See you tomorrow… Good night…
Ishu: Good night… (Still in the effect of the kiss)
Omkara smiles and leaves from the room closing the door… Ishana is confused with Omkara’s behavior… She felt like she was dreaming just now… She brushes off the feeling and covers herself with blanket trying to sleep…
Omkara goes to living room where all are sitting… He leave from there with RuPri after chatting with them for a while…
Precap: Priyanka’s training for tongue twisters… Ishkara moment… RaDuKa are going to Delhi… Ranveer gives something to SwetIshMa…
