Ishani warns Shashwat that one day he will face the same pain she is enduring. Shashwat glares at her, shuts the door, and leaves her outside in tears. Exhausted, Ishani falls asleep at the doorstep.
The next morning, neighbors find her sleeping outside and are shocked to learn Shashwat threw her out the previous night. They notice a slap mark on her cheek and urge her to file a police complaint, assuring her they will support her against domestic violence. Ishani hesitates, saying she doesn’t want them dragged into the matter, but they insist on standing by her and knock on the Senguptas’ door.
When Shashwat opens it, the neighbors walk in with Ishani, confronting him and questioning Raj didi for allowing such cruelty. Shashwat angrily tells them not to interfere, while Raj didi defends keeping family matters private. Pihu accuses Ishani of seeking sympathy and even calls her characterless, alleging she has an affair. Shashwat claims Ishani is at fault and deserved punishment, with Nandini adding it was necessary to teach her a lesson.
The neighbors, however, stand firm, reminding Shashwat that no matter what, he has no right to raise his hand against Ishani—and the slap mark is proof enough to take legal action. Ishani, heartbroken, declares it’s better to live in hell than in the Sengupta household, while the neighbors demand she be given her rightful place in her marital home.
