Ishani tells Pihu that the innocent should never be punished. Pihu responds that she will withdraw her complaint only if Anurag agrees to marry her, revealing that Anurag has admitted he can never love anyone except Ishani. Ishani reminds her that she is Anurag’s first love, which is why he cannot forget her, and advises Pihu to find a good man instead of wasting time on Anurag. She questions how Pihu can hurt Anurag if she truly loves him. Pihu retorts that she can hurt him because he doesn’t love her, adding that she is willing to accept his past, but he rejected her.

Ishani insists that love cannot be forced and that Pihu simply cannot handle rejection. Pihu accuses Ishani of being proud of Anurag’s love. Ishani counters that if Pihu reflects, she’ll realize Anurag never wronged her,

since he could have taken advantage but never did. Ishani declares she will act as she sees fit. Pihu warns her not to interfere again, reminding her that she was the one who filed the complaint against Anurag. Ishani regrets trusting Pihu and lodging the complaint, but vows she won’t let an innocent man suffer punishment. Pihu warns her not to oppose the family for Anurag’s sake, but Ishani stands firm, saying she may have lost in life, yet she won’t let injustice prevail.

At the police station, a constable serves Anurag food, while Ishani, lost in regret, recalls refusing to trust him. She heads to Anwesha’s office, where Anwesha bluntly says she knows Anurag is innocent and is shocked that Ishani’s family framed him. Ishani pleads that she is willing to do anything to secure his release. Anwesha taunts her for first filing the complaint and now wanting to save him, blaming her for ruining Anurag’s life.

Ishani admits she knows he is innocent and begs Anwesha to hear her out. Anwesha reminds her that Anurag lost everything because of her, but Ishani, in tears, insists she’ll do anything to restore his reputation. Anwesha demands to know what she means. Ishani finally confesses her past — that she once loved Anurag, and he loved her too. But when he left abroad for higher studies, her mother forced her into marriage with Shashwat. She couldn’t contact Anurag, and he, upon returning, witnessed her marriage but stayed away. Later, fate brought them back together through Pihu, who fell for Anurag and became obsessed. When he rejected her, Pihu lied out of revenge, leading to his downfall.

Precap: Pihu accuses Ishani of going to meet Anurag and admits she hates her. Enraged, Shashwat throws Ishani out of the house.
