Shashwat accuses Anurag of sending a love letter to his wife, Ishani, leading to his transfer. Anurag vehemently denies any wrongdoing. Ishani and Nandini label him shameless and insist the only way to avoid punishment is to marry his student, Pihu.
Pihu pleads with Anurag to promise to marry her, but he refuses, stating she is only his student. Shashwat criticizes him for not informing them or sending Pihu home if his intentions were pure. Although the principal notes Pihu is an adult, her family argues she is immature and influenced by him.
Under pressure from the police inspector, Anurag again refuses to marry Pihu, stating she is young enough to be his daughter. He explains he let her stay the previous night only because she arrived at midnight and he did not touch her. Ishani accuses him of not caring enough to call for help.
When Anurag directly asks Pihu if he misbehaved, she lies and claims he took advantage of her, demanding marriage to withdraw her complaint. Seeing no way out, Anurag tells the police he will comply and is taken away, leaving Ishani convinced of his guilt and Pihu believing he deserves jail.
At the police station, Anurag fiercely challenges the inspector on the lack of evidence and the injustice of his arrest. Despite being assaulted, he asserts his innocence and vows his lawyer will address the wrongdoing, all while reflecting on Ishani’s painful lack of faith in him.
Precap: Ishani asks Pihu if Anurag had physically harassed her. Pihu admits that he did nothing of the sort but declares that she will seek revenge on Anurag for rejecting her.
