Anurag explains to Pihu that, as a bachelor, he cannot let her stay at his place, warning that her family would likely file a legal case against him if they found out. Pihu accuses Anurag of betraying Shashwat by being involved with Ishani, pointing out the irony that while he maintains standards about marrying a young girl, he chose to be in a relationship with a married woman.
Anurag responds that Pihu doesn’t know the full story. He shares that his love for Ishani began during their college days, but pursuing his dreams abroad caused their separation. After an accident prevented him from contacting Ishani, he returned to India only to find her dressed as a bride, prompting him to leave so as not to complicate her new life. He says their recent meeting at college was coincidental and made him realize he never stopped loving Ishani.
Pihu finds Anurag’s story intriguing and asks why Ishani didn’t wait for him. Anurag believes Ishani lost hope, thinking he wouldn’t return, and her mother probably pressured her to marry someone else. He confides that he has never forgotten Ishani and is sure she retains some feelings for him too.
Pihu pleads with Anurag to move on from his past with Ishani, asserting that she is his present and is willing to accept everything. Anurag, however, insists that he cannot love anyone but Ishani. Pihu accuses him of calling her love an obsession while he himself is obsessed with Ishani, threatening to end her life if he rejects her. Anurag urges her to leave, assuring her that she’ll eventually find someone better. Pihu says her feelings are genuine and asks for a chance, but Anurag remains firm, telling her she can stay but should not expect love from him. He asks her to inform Shashwat about her stay, but Pihu refuses and hugs Anurag, who pushes her away before leaving to get her something to eat.
Meanwhile, Shashwat accuses Ishani of enrolling in college by using Pihu, and threatens to file a kidnapping case against Anurag, requesting Ishani’s testimony. Ishani refuses and insists on finding Pihu first. Shashwat laments that his marriage to Ishani has ruined his life, to which Ishani suggests he should end the marriage if it’s such a problem. Shashwat, feeling betrayed after reading Anurag’s letter, pushes Ishani away.
Precap: Ankita questions Shashwat about why he hasn’t divorced Ishani yet. Shashwat insists that Ishani must testify against Anurag. Meanwhile, Pihu tells Anurag firmly that she will never leave him.
