Shashwat expresses his contentment with life and decides to focus on himself and his family. Pihu suggests a family trip to Europe and invites Ishani to join with Anurag. Shashwat asks why Anurag would come when he’s about to get married, and Pihu reveals their plan to stop the wedding. Ishani urges Pihu not to start the topic again.
Suddenly, Shashwat collapses. Everyone rushes to him. Siddarth examines him and announces that he’s having a heart attack. Pihu panics and pleads with him to speak, while Raj didi runs to call an ambulance. Shashwat holds Ishani’s hand and passes away. Siddarth checks his pulse and confirms his death, leaving everyone in tears. Raj didi cries, begging Shashwat to open his eyes.
The next day, at the cremation ground, Shashwat’s last rites begin. Ishani supports a heartbroken Pihu. When the priest asks for Shashwat’s son to perform the rites, Pihu explains that he has none. Raj didi mentions Yash, but Pihu says he would have come if he cared. Determined, Pihu declares she will perform the rites herself. Though the priest objects, saying women can’t do it, Pihu insists, and he finally agrees.
Pihu performs the last rites with dignity, thanking Shashwat for caring for them despite his flaws. She prays for his peace and promises to make him proud, crying as she bids him farewell. Siddarth comforts her while Raj didi laments how she will live without him. Ishani consoles her as Pihu lights the funeral pyre, and Sengupta weeps.
Later, Pihu asks Ishani if she truly forgave Shashwat. Ishani admits it wasn’t easy after all the pain he caused, but she saw genuine change in him and found it in her heart to forgive. She confesses that she will miss him deeply. Pihu says Shashwat seemed at peace before dying, and Ishani agrees, hoping his soul rests peacefully. Pihu then gives Ishani a letter that Shashwat had written for her.
Precap: Ishani is surprised to see Anurag at the cremation ground and asks what he’s doing there. Anurag reveals that his marriage has been called off.
