Anurag tells Shashwat that he can never forget or forgive what Shashwat did to him, making his words meaningless. He advises Shashwat to go home and rest. Shashwat accepts Anurag’s anger, saying he deserves it, and admits he doesn’t have much time left. What worries him most is Ishani’s future after his death. Anurag replies that Ishani is mature enough to take care of herself but suspects that Shashwat has developed feelings for her.
Shashwat confesses that he once failed to value Ishani but now realizes it’s too late to offer her love. Anurag encourages him to give their relationship another chance. However, Shashwat insists Ishani only loves Anurag and says he doesn’t deserve her, while Anurag does. Anurag prays for Shashwat’s health but says he cannot accept Ishani again. Shashwat
Back home, Ishani confronts Shashwat for going out without informing them. Raj didi scolds him to take care of himself, but Shashwat assures them he’s fine and says he won’t let his family drift apart. When Ishani says she’ll have to leave one day, he replies that the day hasn’t come yet. Raj didi suspects he went to meet Nandini, but Shashwat says that chapter is over—he met someone else instead.
He then checks on Ishani, asking if she’s alright and reminding her that she can always share her feelings with him and Raj didi. Ishani insists she’s fine. Shashwat asks about her future plans and suggests she join his business, but Ishani says she wants to live life on her own terms. Shashwat proposes a family dinner, and Ishani happily agrees before going to get ready. Watching her leave, Shashwat regrets not recognizing her worth earlier and silently vows to keep her happy for as long as he lives.
The next day, Shashwat fondly recalls the previous evening, saying he enjoyed himself. Raj didi adds that she loved watching the horror movie. Shashwat serves tea to Ishani, and Raj didi praises his cooking. He smiles and says he’s planning to start cooking regularly again. Just then, a courier arrives for Ishani from Anurag. Shashwat jokes that perhaps Anurag is missing her.
When Ishani opens the parcel, she is devastated to see Anurag and Radhika’s wedding invitation. Memories of her moments with Anurag flash before her eyes as tears stream down her face. Concerned, Shashwat asks what’s wrong, and Ishani forces a smile, saying it’s good news—Anurag has invited them to his wedding. Shashwat gently tells her to rest, and Ishani rushes to her room, where she breaks down in tears, heartbroken.
Precap: Shashwat suddenly collapses, shocking his family. Everyone rushes to his side in fear. Siddarth checks on him and gravely announces that Shashwat has suffered a heart attack.
