Anurag scolds Shashwat for showing up unannounced at his house. Shashwat, however, expresses gratitude, thanking Anurag for saving his life. Anurag clarifies that he helped him for Ishani’s sake. Shashwat explains that he came to discuss Ishani. Since Anurag’s aashirwad ceremony has just ended and his mother is resting, he asks Shashwat to keep their conversation quiet, offering him sweets before asking what he wants to say. Shashwat shares that he is happy Anurag has decided to marry, but Anurag nonchalantly replies that he already knew.
Shashwat urges Anurag not to misunderstand him and points out that Ishani is upset because Anurag is marrying someone else. Anurag coldly states that he no longer cares about Ishani. Surprised, Shashwat asks if Anurag has stopped loving her. Anurag confronts
Shashwat asks why Anurag still saved him, to which Anurag replies that it was an act of humanity. Shashwat counters, explaining that Ishani had always acted out of compassion, marrying him for her children while never receiving the love and respect of a true wife. Despite this, she came forward to help Anurag when he was betrayed by Nandini. He stresses that Ishani cannot bear seeing her loved ones in pain and urges Anurag not to misunderstand her intentions as he did before.
Anurag reluctantly acknowledges that Ishani is Mahaan. Shashwat shares that he saw Ishani crying and could not bear her sorrow. Anurag, frustrated, says he waited for Ishani for so long but feels betrayed by her actions. Shashwat admits that he initially intended to separate Anurag and Ishani but now wants them reunited, having been changed by their goodness. He pleads with Anurag not to go through with his marriage, warning that he will regret it.
Meanwhile, Ishani tells Raj Didi that Shashwat isn’t answering her calls, causing Raj Didi to worry. Ishani reassures her that Shashwat likely went for a drive in the colony and urges her not to overthink. Raj Didi hugs Ishani, grateful to have her by her side.
Back with Anurag, he questions why Shashwat is so concerned about Ishani. Shashwat admits he realized his mistakes too late and regrets losing Ishani because of his past actions. Anurag reminds him that they are still legally husband and wife. Shashwat insists that their relationship is limited to living in the same house and urges Anurag to cancel his marriage, but Anurag refuses, asserting that he has moved on with his life.
