Anurag informs Ishani that Pihu attempted suicide and her family holds them responsible, so they must go to the police station for questioning. His mother grows anxious, fearing that Pihu and her family will never let them live in peace, and wonders how Pihu could do such a thing. Ishani reassures Anurag that she had recorded Pihu’s confession earlier, anticipating her change of heart, so he need not worry. With determination, Anurag says they should head to the police station.

Though his mother panics, Anurag calms her, assuring that nothing will happen since the truth is with them. Ishani expresses her wish to meet Pihu, but Anurag refuses, saying it will only worsen matters. He takes Ishani along while his mother prays to God for their safety.

At the police station, Ishani anxiously

asks the inspector about Pihu’s condition. The inspector confirms that Pihu is safe but questions Ishani’s role in the matter. Ishani explains that she loves Pihu as her own daughter, despite breaking ties with Shashwat, and wants only the best for her. Anurag then reveals that Ishani faced abuse in her marriage, leading to her divorce decision, and that Pihu’s drastic step was driven by rejection, as she loves him despite knowing his heart belongs to Ishani.

Ishani adds that Pihu’s feelings are obsession, not love, and she understands Pihu’s anger. Anurag tells the inspector he cannot marry Pihu due to their age gap and declares his intention to marry Ishani after her divorce. Ishani still expresses her wish to meet Pihu, calling her her favorite and hoping Pihu understands her. She also defends Anurag before the inspector. The inspector allows them to leave but warns Ishani against any drama at the hospital.

Together, Anurag and Ishani go to the hospital since Anurag fears Pihu’s family will mistreat her. When Pihu is discharged, Shashwat expresses happiness, but his mood shifts on seeing Ishani with Anurag. He questions her presence, while Raj didi mocks her for showing up alongside Anurag. Pihu herself lashes out, asking Ishani to leave. Ishani, however, insists that Pihu is important to her and gently inquires about her condition. Shashwat angrily accuses Ishani of driving Pihu to such a step and vows never to forgive her. Raj didi further taunts her, calling her shameless for being with Anurag before her divorce. Ishani defends herself, but Shashwat sternly reminds her not to forget that she is still his wife.

Precap: Pihu pushes Ishani away when she touches her, but Anurag catches Ishani before she falls and scolds Pihu for her behavior. Shashwat says Ishani deserved it, while Raj didi insults her by calling her a snake.
