Anurag’s mother gives Ishani the locker key, telling her that marriage is only a formality since she already considers Ishani her daughter-in-law with full rights in the family.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, the doctor informs Shashwat that Pihu’s mental state is fragile and she needs therapy. She is stable but must remain under observation overnight, and since it’s a suicide attempt, the case is under police investigation. Raj Didi demands justice for Pihu. When the police inspector arrives, Shashwat reveals everything about Anurag, Ishani, and Pihu’s love triangle, explaining that Anurag used Pihu to get close to Ishani. The inspector calls for Anurag and Ishani to appear at the station, while Nandini adds that Ishani is still legally married to Shashwat but living with Anurag.
Inside, the inspector questions Pihu, who says her loved ones betrayed her—especially Anurag, who rejected her because of Ishani. She blames both Anurag and Ishani for her state. The inspector encourages her to fight instead of giving up and promises justice, vowing not to spare Anurag and Ishani as he too has a daughter Pihu’s age.
Later, Anurag receives a call from the constable, learning about Pihu’s suicide attempt and that he and Ishani are being accused. Shocked, he tells Ishani they must go to the police station for inquiry.
Precap: Ishani tells Anurag that she recorded Pihu’s confession, anticipating she might change her statement later. She assures him not to worry, as she has proof to establish his innocence.
