At Anurag’s home, his mother fondly teases him, noting that he always thinks only of Ishani, which makes Ishani shy. His mother then openly discusses their marriage, stating that seeing them wed would allow her to die peacefully. She assures Ishani not to worry about the wedding preparations. Anurag tells Ishani that they will bring her mother home from the care center, but Ishani insists she will handle that after her divorce is finalized.
Ishani then reveals her pain, recounting that she had asked Anurag for help to save her house, but he didn’t, resulting in the bank seizing it and her mother moving to a care center. Anurag’s mother interjects, saying Ishani married the wrong person, but Anurag urges everyone to stop dwelling on the past. His mother optimistically says she
Meanwhile, at her home, Pihu is locked in her room. Shashwat, Nandini, and Raj didi ask her to open the door, concerned that she looks upset. Raj didi tells Pihu that since Ishani has asked for a mutual divorce, she won’t be returning, and thus can no longer cause problems. Pihu, however, becomes consumed by the dark thought that Ishani wants the divorce to marry Anurag. She decides her death will prevent them from living happily and, after telling her family she wants to sleep, she consumes sleeping pills. She thinks that only after her death will Anurag realize her love was true and mourn for her.
Her family, unaware of her actions, assumes she is just tired. Shashwat vows not to spare Anurag or Ishani if they are responsible for Pihu’s state, while Nandini suggests letting her rest and taking her to a restaurant later.
Back at Anurag’s, his mother directly asks Ishani if she is ready to marry her son, presenting it as a second chance from life. Ishani expresses her fear of accepting this happiness, worried she might lose it again and doubting her ability to win against the powerful Shashwat in her divorce. Anurag and his mother encourage her, saying the truth is on her side and she should not worry. The scene ends with them warmly arguing over who will cook.
The final scene returns to Pihu’s home, where a growing sense of dread sets in. Shashwat becomes increasingly worried that her silence is not normal, fearing her emotional state and trauma may have led her to do something drastic, hinting at the grave danger she is in.
