Anurag explains the entire situation to lawyer Sameer. Sameer questions Ishani on why she didn’t go to the police, to which she replies that she wanted to keep family matters out of the police station. Anurag adds that Ishani is seeking a mutual divorce.
Meanwhile, Nandini instructs Pihu not to speak to Anurag, with Raj Didi warning that he might trap her in a new scheme. Nandini then tells Shashwat to transfer his company shares to her name. When Pihu questions why Shashwat must give money to Nandini, she dismisses her, saying she wouldn’t understand. Shashwat explains he is doing this to ensure Ishani gets nothing in the divorce and that he trusts Nandini to return the shares later.

Later, Shashwat tells Nandini his business team is against transferring the shares. Nandini pretends she only wanted to help and tells him to do as he wishes. Shashwat hugs her, confessing his love and explaining that the stress from his issues with Ishani is now gone, and his business is secure because of her. Nandini suggests she at least needs power of attorney to manage affairs, which Shashwat agrees to grant. She then expresses concern for Pihu and urges him to divorce Ishani quickly. Shashwat worries that initiating the divorce would force him to pay alimony.
Lawyer Sameer calls Shashwat, informing him that Ishani wants a mutual divorce. He warns that if Shashwat refuses, the case will go to court, where he would have to meet Ishani’s alimony demands. Shashwat immediately agrees to a mutual divorce and asks about the timeline, to which Sameer replies it will be finalized in a couple of days.
After the call, Nandini claims Ishani is desperate to marry Anurag. Shashwat expresses relief at being rid of her, and Nandini reminds him not to neglect business matters. Shashwat then proposes to her. Nandini questions how her son will accept it, but then says since they are already living together, it doesn’t matter. Shashwat agrees and hugs her.
In conclusion, Anurag notes that Shashwat agreed to the mutual divorce to avoid paying alimony. Ishani expresses surprise, as she expected him to seek revenge.
Precap: Anurag’s mother asks Ishani if she is ready to marry Anurag. Ishani replies that their marriage should have happened years ago but admits she is worried about facing Shashwat. Meanwhile, Shashwat asks Pihu to open the door.
