Shashwat asks Ishani to forgive him if possible, and Ishani replies that she forgave him long ago. He then reveals that his heart is weak and he senses he doesn’t have many years left. However, he has one major responsibility — Pihu’s marriage — and he requests Ishani to stay with them until it’s over. Acknowledging he has no right to stop her, he still pleads for her presence until the wedding.
Pihu hugs her father and assures him nothing will happen to him. She then asks Ishani if she can stay. Ishani worries that Anurag might misunderstand her if she remains there, but Shashwat offers to speak to him. Ishani refuses, while Raj didi urges her to stay for the family’s sake and suggests calling Siddarth’s family the next day. She also advises Ishani to talk to Anurag.
Ishani agrees to stay until Pihu’s marriage, making Pihu happy. Shashwat thanks her, and Ishani teases him for emotionally blackmailing her. Shashwat admits that earlier he wanted her to leave, but now he wants her to stay — though he’s lost the right to ask. Ishani then says she needs to meet Anurag.
Later, Ishani meets Anurag at a café. When he asks what she wants to talk about, she questions why he’s acting distant. Anurag replies that it’s her perception. Ishani tells him they won the case and Shashwat is recovering. Anurag suggests that now she can stay with him and apologizes for his earlier behavior, explaining he was hurt when she went to Shashwat’s house. He says his mother is waiting for her and invites her home, but Ishani refuses, saying Shashwat’s health is still fragile.
Anurag insists it’s not their problem, but Ishani says Shashwat has asked her to stay until Pihu’s marriage. Feeling helpless, Anurag says he won’t argue because she’ll misunderstand him anyway, and it’s his mistake for waiting for a married woman. He concludes that she’ll never leave Shashwat. Ishani pleads for him to understand that it’s only for a few days, but Anurag says she’s not ready to marry him.
When Ishani insists it’s temporary, Anurag tells her to do what she feels is right while he’ll do the same. He adds that he’ll ask his mother to find him a suitable match, since she wants him to settle down. Finally, he tells Ishani to look within and ask herself whether she truly loves him or not.
