Actor Pradeep Duhan, who was last seen in Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein, tied the knot with his girlfriend Madhvi Mahajan. Madhvi is a former model who is currently working as a buying head with a premium brand in India. The couple tied the knot on 31st May in Cheog, Himachal Pradesh. The engagement took place yesterday along with the mehendi and sangeet ceremonies.
Pradeep talked about it during a recent interview with BT and shared, “I didn’t want a typical grand wedding in a busy city or anything conventional. So, we decided to get married in nature’s lap and scenic location. The resort is three hours from Shimla and it is extremely beautiful. Also, we love the mountains and Madhvi is from Himachal.”
He added, “It’s an intimate affair with just 80 people in attendance. Keeping up with our idea of having a low-key affair with just our families and well-wishers in attendance, we plan to host a get-together for close friends next month in Mumbai.”
The couple met at a fashion show in 2012 and started dating. Talking about it, Pradeep shared, “Madhvi was a model before she quit and took up the job. We met at a fashion show, where we were the models. Our friendship graduated to love and here we are today (smiles). What binds us is the fact that we are alike. We are free-spirited and share an interest in traveling. Madhvi is cool and bindass. We connect on every aspect.”
The newlyweds plan to travel to Europe for their honeymoon in August.
