The lead actors of Imlie, Sumbul Touqueer, and Fahmaan Khan are all set to bid adieu to the show. The duo recently shared a video on their social media accounts announcing that their journey on the show is getting over as the show is heading for a generation leap.

Now the question remains is that even after the generation leap Fahmaan and Sumbul could have continued to play their respective characters. However there were already rumors about Fahmaan not going to be a part of the show post the leap, the fans were not able to accept the news.

Now according to the latest reports, the makers have decided to revamp the show fully by changing the entire story. While the lead faces will change, the rest of the cast will be retained.

Post the leap, Cheeni will be shown as a young woman while Fahmaan and Sumbul’s characters will die.

Now amidst all the changes and revamps it remains to be seen how the new set of actors will connect with the viewers.
