Ranveer is seen with his friends Aditya and Aliya in the restaurant.
Aliya:Here we get world’s best coffee.
Adi:You are right Aliya.
Ranveer:The best part is we get the best snacks over here.
Aliya:That’s also right.But coffee is unique.Right Adi?
Adi:Exactly Aliya.
Ranveer:You both are a real match..all interests are same.
Aliya thought:But opposite attracts.So i am more attracted towards you Ranveer.
Adi thought:I know you love Ranveer.But i love you Aliya.I love to be with you.
Gopi came back after shopping.
Ahem:Gopi…so many covers.
Gopi:Ya…I did buy a lot of stuffs for my grand daughter.I am going to see Dira for the first time though I have seen her online.
Ahem:We both are so excited to welcome Diya and Dira.
Gopi:Ya..I can’t wait.
Ranveer passed by.
Gopi:The long wait is over.Diya and Dira are returning.
Ranveer became dull.
Ahem:Why are you not saying anything Ranveer?
Ranveer:What to say?Whose long wait is over?Yours mom?I wish I had’nt turned 21.The moment I was tensed about the most has come.Wish they are not returning.
Ahem and Gopi were shocked.
Ahem:What rubbish are you saying Ranveer?
Gopi:You used to love Diya very much.You cried when she left.You wanted her to return to you.Then why?
Ranveer:6 years back I loved Diya.That time I was immature.But now my liking…interests…tastes have changed.
Gopi:What do you mean?
Ranveer:Loving my senior Diya in school was a mistake.I can’t repeat it .I don’t love an elderly woman like Diya anymore.And I can’t be a father now.I am too young to be a father.
It’s so embarrassing.
Gopi slapped him.
Gopi:Love is not an emotion you can change daily.You said you can’t be a father?But the truth is that you are already a father.You can’t change the fact.If it’s embarrassing you should have thought about it during your school days when you were doing a shameless act.
Ahem:You can’t run away from your responsibilities.Diya and Dira are your responsibility.Because of you Diya’s family will be in humiliation.It can’t happen.You need to save their reputation.
Gopi:You said you can’t repeat your mistake.But if you don’t accept Diya and Dira you will be doing a bigger mistake.You should correct the mistake you did 6 year ago.What you did in your school days was a big mistake and those who do mistakes will have to experience it’s after effects too.
Ranveer was irritated.
Ahem’s brother Jigar and his wife Rashi were witnessing it.
Jigar:Bhai and Bhabhi are right Ranveer.I can’t support you in this.You have to marry Diya.
Ranveer:But I am only in final year engineering.Who marries while studying in college?
Ahem:But you have to marry because of what you did in past.Already Diya and family waited for you a lot.Not anyore.
Ranveer:Ok I will marry Diya.But my friends should not know that i am married and have a baby.And more than that I cannot love Diya.
All were upset.
Ranveer walked off.
Gopi:Ahemji..what is this boy saying?
Ahem:It’s ok Gopi.Atleast he agreed to marry Diya.While staying with her their old love will blossom again.
Rashi:Gopi…the problem is that when Ranveer and Diya were in school they both looked young and cute.But now Diya will look older than Ranveer as girls look more mature than the boys of their age.That may be the reason why Ranveer is not able to accept Diya.
Jigar:Rashi…but whatever…Ranveer and Diya have to unite because of the mistake they did long ago.They have a daughter too now.
Rashi:I know Jigarji..I just said.
Diya and family arrived at the railway station.Ahem and Gopi received them.
Gopi caressed Diya and kissed Dira.Dira kissed her back.
Gopi:How much I wished to see you my Dira!
Gopi hugged Dira.
Ahem lifted her up in his arms.
Ahem:Dadu’s dear Dira..
Dira was giggling sweetly.
Diya’s eyes searched for Ranveer.
Shekar noticed it and asked:Where is Ranveer?He did’nt come?
Shekar thought:Is my fear coming true?
Ahem:Yes.He has come.
Ranveer came from behind.
Diya smiled emotionally seeing Ranveer:Ranveer…Your Diya is back.
Diya tried to embrace him.But he walked backward.
Diya became dull.
Diya:Ranveer!
Ranveer kept quiet.
Everyone else noticed it.
Gopi:Dira beta…shall I introduce you to your dad?See..that’s your papa.
She showed Ranveer to Dira.Dira smiled running towards Ranveer.
She hugged him:Papa!
Ranveer felt awkward and did not hug her back.But he looked at her.He is seeing his daughter for the first time.
Everyone felt weird seeing Ranveer’s cold behaviour.
Gopi tried to change the topic.
Gopi:Ranveer has not celebrated his 21st birthday yet as he wanted to celebrate it with Diya and Dira.
Ranveer was irritated with Gopi’s lie while Diya was very happy.
Ahem:We will celebrate Ranveer’s birthday tomorrow.
Diya was excited:I will bake the cake.
Gopi:That’s so sweet of you Diya.
Diya looked at the silent Ranveer.
She thought:Why Ranveer is so indifferent?He is not even talking to me.
Diya was smiling and thinking of Ranveer’s birthday in school…
Flash back….
The class teacher said:Today is your classmate Ranveer’s birthday.Children…clap your hands for him.
Everyone clapped his hands.
The teacher wished him:Happy birthday Ranveer.I wish you all the best.
Ranveer:Thank you Ma’am.
Everyone sang the birthday song for him.He smiled.
During the leisure time when all were engaged in games Ranveer went to the backyard where he and Diya meet.His face blossomed seeing Diya there.
She wished him:Happy birthday Ranveer.
Ranveer:Thank you Diya.You know since morning I had been waiting to hear you wish me.
Diya:I wanted myself to be the first one to wish you.But it was not possible as we both do not have mobile phones.
Ranveer:That’s so irritating.I asked dad to buy me a mobile phone many times.But he says that I am too small to have a mobile phone on my own.
Diya:Even my papa said the same to me.He told me that when I become an adult he will get me a mobile phone.Because of the class hours here also I could not wish you first.I had to wait till the interval to wish you.
Ranveer:It’s sad.But it’s ok as your birthday wish is the most special even If you are late.
She smiled.
She took the tiffin box and opened it.
Diya:See Ranveer..I baked a cake for the first time for you.
Ranveer:Really?
Diya took a piece and fed him with her hand.
Ranveer:Wow Diya.It’s yummy.It tastes so good that it does’nt seem to be your first attempt on baking.
Diya became very happy and started feeding him cake again.Ranveer too fed her the cake.
Ranveer:You made my birthday beautiful Diya.I wish to have thecake baked by you on every birthday of mine.
Diya smiled:Sure Ranveer.I promise..
Present…
Diya smiled:Ranveer will prefer to have the cake baked by me on his birthday.He must be expecting my cake this time also.I will bake a special cake for Ranveer.
Diya baked a cake.
Diya:Ranveer will surely love this cake.
Party….
Diya came wearing a lehenga with Dira and others.
Ranveer thought:Though she stayed abroad for 6 years still dressed up like a traditional girl on my birthday.So boring.
Diya:Happy birthday Ranveer.

Dira:Happy birthday papa.
Ranveer looked around to see if anyone heard it.
Ranveer:Dira beta…please talk softly so that other won’t hear it.
Diya could not understand why Ranveer talked like that.
Diya’s sister Sanjana wished Ranveer:Wish you a very happy birthday Ranveer.

Ranveer cut the cake.Gopi fed him the cake.
Gopi:How is the cake?
Ranveer:It’s yummy.
Ahem:As you know ..it’s baked by Diya.So thank her.
Ranveer with looked at Diya with hesitation:Thank you Diya.It was a yummy cake.
Diya smiled happily.
Gopi:Feed the cake to Diya and Dira as they are the special guests of the party.
Ranveer became dull.
All were confused.
Ahem:This is Ranveer’s going to be wife Diya.
Diya blushed while everyone else smiled.
Ranveer was irritated.
Some people asked:Who is this little girl?
Ranveer was worried about everyone knowing that Dira is his daughter.
Ranveer thought:They will mock me if they come to know that Dira is my daughter.
