Recap: gayatri gets insulted by her friends daughter. She challenges to keep kabirs marriage in a week with a young and better girl. Kabir and sanchi have a sweet accidental meet. Sanchi applies for internship in kabirs company. Isha decides to join her parents abroad.
Malhotra mansion.
Dinner is a silent affair. Riya signals Karan.
Karan: mom, I came to know what happened. How dare saxenas behave with you that way…
Gayatri cuts him off: that’s it.
Kabir: kya hua ma. And I have been noticing you for a while. Where were you lost. You seemed tensed.
Gayatri: it’s nothing beta. Just a small affair. You please finish your dinner

Isha and pragya pulls her inside and settle on the bed.
Isha: ab gussa child do na baby doll. Mein thodi hi kal Jane wali hun. We still have time till our final exams. And I’m only going for a year. I’ll be back after that. And whenever you want to see me, we can video call. Also, I’ll fly to see you occasionally.
Pragya: why do you have to take the trouble. Just send us two tickets. We will come to meet you.

Sanchi hits her with a pillow and soon they get into a pillow fight. They lay down on sanchi’s bed. They look at the stars in the night sky through her glass ceiling.

They chat all night and fall asleep hugging each other. Jaya comes in and covers them and cleans the mess they created. She switches off the light and leaves.

Gayatri is leaving for her work. Her car stops at the traffic. She looks outside and something catches her interest. Her assistant interrupts her but she cuts him. Sanchi is seen walking in a wired manner. She flaunts a beautiful white anrkali. But she has held her shawl towards the other side like a curtain and she is walking slowly. Gayatri looks on confused. There’s a pool of muddy water beside the footpath she’s walking. Suddenly a car comes and splashes all the water on her dress. She turns away to avoid getting water on her face. She continues walking a few more steps and once the pool ends, she stops and moved away her shawl. Three kids are shown in white uniform with flags. They salute her and she salutes back. “Happy republic Day.” One girl kisses her on the cheek. “Thankyou Didi” sanchi smiles and waves them back. She runs back and leaves in her car.
Gayatri smiles.: I want the details of that girl on my table. You have two hours.
Assistant: yes ma’am.
