Precap: sanchi is seen as a lovely cheerful girl enjoying her college days with her besties. Kabir is a workaholic business man. Gayatri hears taunts for kabir not getting married yet as he is her step son while her son is already married. Gayatri decides to get kabir married.
It’s dinner time at malhotra mansion. Gayatri is happy about the deal. Karan and Riya , like always, are not much happy about kabir getting all the praise.
Kabir: ma, you don’t have to praise me that much. Whatever I am today, it’s all because of your and dad’s teachings. I learnt everything from you. So it is you who should be praised.
Gayatri: no kabir, it is your hard work and dedication. You spent all your good days to support our company, while others of your age were enjoying their life. You didn’t even settle down in life
Kabir: you have started again. We have already discussed this before and you know what will be my answer.
Gayatri: it’s not like before. This time I’m adamant on getting you married. I won’t take no for an answer. If you respect me as your own mother, then you’ll respect my request
Karan: mom, why are you forcing bhaiya if he doesn’t want to. And look at his age, do you think it’s easy for him
Riya: yes mom…
Gayatri: did I ask your opinion. And what do you mean age
Kabir: Karan is right ma. It won’t look good now
Gayatri: ok, I got my answer. You never considered me your mother
Kabir sits down near her and holds her hand
Kabir: ma, please don’t say so. You have always loved me more than Karan and veer. (Riya makes faces) if my yes will make you happy, then I’m ready.
Gayatri is overwhelmed while Karan and Riya are not so happy.
Gayatri: then let’s go meet saxenas tomorrow.
Kabir: ma, I’m ok with whomever you choose. Please don’t ask me to go for meeting with girl and her family. Also, I just want a simple wedding, without much functions or media.
Gayatri: but it’s malhotra’s eldest son’s wedding. How can we keep it low profile
Kabir: ma I agreed to your wish, so you should also agree to mine
Gayatri holds his cheek: you always know how to make a deal. It’s ok. Everything will be according to your wish. Your getting married only is what counts for me. I’m happy that my son will also start a new chapter of his life.
Mishra mansion
Sunil is not in a good mood at the table. Sanchi and sunny like always are fighting. Sunil gets angry with their behaviour and scolds them. He leaves the table angrily. Sunny and sanchi look at each other shocked while Jaya follows her husband.
Sanchi: what happened to papa. He never scolded us like that before
Sunny: it’s all because of you moti. Jab Dekho bak bak Karti rehti Hain. You must have irritated him with your foolish winings.
Sanchi hits sunny: sunny Ka bacha, rukh. I won’t leave you today
Jaya consoles her husband
Jaya: you shouldn’t have shouted at the kids
Sunil: I know, it’s just that I was so stressed that I couldn’t control myself. If we can’t find investors soon, then our company will go bankrupt. I can’t find anyway to get out of this crisis.
Jaya: keep faith. God will show us a way. Till then, we shouldn’t let the kids find out anything.
Sanchi looks at the moon through the window. She smiles at the moon?

My every morning starts with the hope to meet you. My every night ends with the desire to see you. Even though I don’t know you, you can never imagine the depth to which I love you . Kabir comes to his balcony. He is on phone with his client. Kabir ends the call and noticed the moon. It’s shining bright. He smiles at the moon and leaves.
“Meri Dil ke raston pe
Teri ahat jo hui
Har dhadkan jashn main Hain
Ye inayat Jo hui….”
Sanchi slowly slips to deep sleep, smiling in her dreams. While kabir is on his bed sitting with his laptop. Sanchi turns in her sleep and hugs her pillow, while kabir turns around to get his phone. It’s morning, sanchi is still on her bed, while kabir is still on his laptop. Sanchi gets up and stretches her arms. She smiles and lays back covering herself with her blanket. And our kabir is all set for jogging.
Main toh tere rang mein
Rang chuka hoon
Bas tera ban chuka hoon
Mera mujhme kuch nahi sab tera

Sanchi lazily brushes her teeth and dances under the shower. She inside outside her wardrobe. There is a heap of clothes on the bed and she is still confused on what to wear.
Kabir has everything set. He selects a white shirt and puts on a black suit. He selects a watch and is all set.
Sanchi has her breakfast walking around the house fetching things from here and there, where she carelessly threw them. Her maid follows her with the sandwich and fruits.
Kabir sits on his breakfast table with the business newspaper, and also occasionally keeps a tab on his tab. Breakfast is mechanical for him. He leaves for office after touching gayatri’s feet. Karan and Riya also leave followed by gayatri. They leave in different directions.
Sanchi chases her brother around the house. On her way out she hugs her mom from behind and also kisses her on the cheek. She leaves with her driver.
Sanchi and kabirs car stop at the signal. Kabir looks out and smiles. He is lost…sanchi is also looking in his direction. She smiles happily. Kabir also smiles back. A girl is shown sitting behind a bike and blowing bubbles. She is in between sanchi and kabir and both are actually looking at the girl. The signal turns green and both go in opposite directions….
