The longest-running season of the music reality show Indian Idol 12 has come to a conclusion. Amidst a lot of debate about who should have won the competition and who was better than who, Sayli Kamble, the second runner-up of the singing-based reality show ‘Indian Idol 12’, has bagged a song for the Marathi film titled ‘Kolhapur Diaries’.
This will be the first time Sayli will be singing for a movie. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh recently shared a picture of Sayli on his Twitter handle. Along with the picture, Taran wrote: “Indian Idol singer records song for film… #SayliKamble – second runner-up of #IndianIdol12 – recorded her first song for #Marathi film #KolhapurDairies… Composed by #AvadhootGupte.”
He added: “Directed by #JoeRajan… #KolhapurDairies is (a) remake of #Malayalam film #AngamalyDairies. #KolhapurDairies is produced by Select Media Holdings.”
