Imlie fame Sumbul Touqeer has managed to earn a massive fan following in a short time span with her powerful performance. The actress who is known for essaying the role of Imlie has become a household name. Sumbul started her acting career at the age of 14 years.
In a recent interview with BT, the actress was asked about the best compliment she has received yet. She shared, “The best compliment I have received I’ve ever received is something that I have not only got to know from 1 person but from 10-15 people. I have often been told that ‘I remind people of the late Smita Patil as an actor’. And that is the best compliment I have ever received. I don’t think there’s a bigger joy than being compared to a legendary actress like Smita Patil.”
Apart from working in tv shows like Imlie, Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein, Chandragupt Maurya, Sumbul has also been featured in the Bollywood film Article 15 starring Ayushmann Khurana.

When you said that “oh pls…this is insult of Smita Patil”, what else do you mean ? You are drawing clear boundaries between acting skills of two actors.
